Been sharing my story to get advice or just feel less alone. So, several years ago, I meant a guy and we started talking. At the time I lived in VA. I had just gotten out of another relationship and was staying with a friend. We went on two dates and on the second date we slept together...bad idea. I get attached easily to start with. I was also planning to move back to NC at this time (where I'm originally from). So I was really setting myself up to get hurt, but did it anyway. The guy knew I was moving as well. We kept in touch after, but didnt purse anything. He ended up reaching out when he was in another relationship and said it was toxic. I still had feelings for him, but tried to help and got way too attached to the idea that we would be together once they broke up…i was wrong. He decided to stay in that relationship and blocked me suddenly. This triggered me so badly, i began to obsess over him & things got rough. Since then I have gotten closure from him and tried to move on. He still comes to mind frequently and it's so frustrating. He has made it clear he doesn't want to talk to me and doesn't want me in his life, but somehow I catch myself searching for some deeper meaning to it all.(.he's given mixed signals before so that didn't help.)anyway...just upset at myself for thinking about this years later.

Some calisthenics athletes program hypertrophy 2 months, 2 months strengths with some technical aspects, then to skill cycle (kind of peaking), fully specific and just technical priority and closer to attempting the full real front lever move over strength.
Most athletes do hypertrophy, and strength & skill mixed.
It will take 1-2 months for your tech and nervous system to re-align then PRs and static skills will continue to improve until you hit a plateau and need more muscle size.
If I wanted front lever and did hypertrophy for 2 months (pull ups, rows, high volume, etc) to increase muscle size, then bulked ,calorie surplus.
and then started my strength phase, and slowly cut down my weight / bodyfat switched focus to weighted pull ups for low reps high sets to use the new muscle issue and make it stronger for 2 months, then once I cut down for like 1 month or 2 during the strength phase. I can begin to start working on technical aspects like banded front levers, eccentrics, attempts, holds, etc WHILST I have my hypertrophy and strength checked.

First reddit post sorry if things are all weird
Due to health issues I lost my job and I'm stuck on assistance until I see a doctor (been 10+ months on a waiting list) so moving out is not an option. Yes, I do manage to pay my rent on assistance.
Roommate is family friend since we were kids.
Now then, onto the issue. When we moved in (about 3-ish years ago, 1st year of covid) I started noticing quickly that he did do very much housechores at all, even after I fell incredibly sick and lost my job and couldn't lean over without vomiting or pain.
I did all the chores for about 1.5 years because he claimed having severe depression & was stuck in an abusive online relationship. Even after I snapped and started arguing with him, he now only sweeps the floor once a week & "wipes" open spaces on counters (doesn't clear counter off before wiping, just around objects) & claims he doesn't need to wash toilet because he sits down. He does his own dishes because he leaves food and grease stains on them, so I wash my own dishes.
All the same, he only washes his bedsheets about once a year (after I complained that it smells) & his sister told him to take a shower every second day, because he looks greasy and unclean. He is always sick, always sneezing and coughing and claims he has "allergies" and hasn't been able to smell since before covid was even a thing. Once in awhile his bedroom absolutely reeks to the point I cannot be in the livingroom or even down the hall. The smell clings to him, so I stay in my bedroom when he's out because it's just awful. I don't know whats causing it to get so bad, I worry there may be fungus or bacteria growing on some of his things, or he's doing something to make it worse.
I'm a very private person, going into someone else's room makes me very uncomfortable so I cannot determine the source.
I've told him kindly how often it is recommended to wash bedsheets, but he doesn't listen or just gives up after a bit of time. I've also told him its good to see a doctor once in awhile (he hasn't gone once since we moved in) despite even getting covid (he went to work for days before they kicked him out & gave covid to me. I was already off-work for my health by then and hadn't left in weeks)

I dunno what to do, I'd love to move but I can't and they do need me to help pay rent. He technically owns the house even if the bills are managed by someone else. He spends all his free time laughing loudly and having the time of his life playing games but can't address his bad bedroom smell. I've thought about trying baking soda containers, but I'm very limited on money and buy all the cleaning supplies myself, sometimes skipping meals to afford them.
I have a pet and perfume allergies so febreeze isn't the best idea.

His purpose is to protect the locals from evil airs and spirits. The people rarely catch sight of him, but are grateful for his work; they place charms to invite his protection: of a pair of raven feathers with two rainbow eyes painted on the wide ends, strung together to the striker of a silver bell, that when the wind blows, the chime rings out to him.
Possible stories we could write together:
A woman—your creation—crashes her ship at the cleft in the rock, needing rescue or saving herself, suddenly standing before him in his cave.

Hi all,
I live in London, UK and due to a number of factors and general cost of owning a car here, took advantage of one of the various "Subscribe & Share" options offered by a growing amount of providers.
I am now 5 months in to the subscription, and cannot emphasise the stress, headache and frustration it's caused.
It was small things initially, for example they offer a free "handy drivers pack", so naturally I requested one, to date it's never arrived!! The list could go on but that's not why I am here..
A majorly important thing, that being the cars annual service was due in February (something the company take responsibility for, not the subscriber).
Within the live chat in the app, I received confirmation the car was booked for a mobile service on the 19th February, by mobile I mean, a subcontractor comes to the location of the car and completes the service.
Happy days, I don't even have to move, well.. The service never happened. March, April, May I made countless requests for it to be re-booked. One by one, those requests fell on deaf-ears.
To the point I lost my patience, the lackadaisical approach was just unheard of and I kindly requestd via the chat, "it's in both our interests to avoid any further contact, as I will only now communicate with someone of a senior level.
I emailed the acting CEO, and you guessed it, NADA!! Step forward to yesterday, contact was made via the live chat and I quote you.. "l'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I also wish to notify you that unfortunately we are giving notice that we are ending your subscription, since we are ending all active subscriptions. The car will please need to be returned within one week (by June 16th) to.... "
To be honest, it's probably a blessing, however I am not a man to overlook the list of issues that remain unresolved".
Okay, this is the important bit.. I was very precise with my words, basically I didn't vent with huge disappointment, I vented with all the actual factual incidents I encountered...
Blah blah we are sorry your experience wasn't a good one blah blah... But wait, my eyes popped out their sockets, "however I would like to advise you, your car did actual have it's service"... And a copy of the invoice was sent as an attachment!!To reiterate, the car categorically has not been serviced.
Date of service 18th February 2023, date of invoice May 2023, that's weird, not many companies send invoices after 3 months, but forget that, I think I've got them hook, line and sinker.. As the milage is listed on the invoice. Meanwhile, the car itself has GPS live location and QuickStart technology. I can see the milage, location, fuel levels, even down to when the doors are opened and when the doors are closed.
Needless to say, the mileage was totally different, there were no doors opened, nor doors closed within the stated time of the service.
Therefore, my question is, other issues aside, does the service situation fall in to the category of deception, could the invoice be considered fabricated?
Any advice would give a huge sigh of relief but more so, be greatly appreciated.

You may not think of a rimfire pistol as your first option when it comes to self-defense, and in the interests of full disclosure, it’s not my first choice either.
That said, for folks with less than stellar hand strength, very inexperienced shooters, or for those who carry a pint-sized backup concealed carry like an NAA revolver or Lifecard, then a hyper-velocity .22 is a great option, especially if you’re carrying CCI Stingers.
No .22, not even .22 WMR, is going to be able to compete with even the lowest end of defensive centerfire rounds like .380 ACP. However, with CCI Stingers, you’ve got just about the most velocity you can get out of the cartridge, coupled with nickel-plated cases that feed and extract more reliably than brass cases.

When you’re choosing any ammo, there are a number of considerations to keep in mind. We’re going to take a look at some of the specific things to be aware of when choosing .22 pistol ammo and answer a few frequently asked questions we see a lot.

Choosing .22 Pistol Ammo for Various Uses

First, let’s discuss the most common uses for a .22 pistol and how to choose the right ammo for each.

Choosing .22 Ammo for Hunting

When choosing hunting ammo, the most important consideration is the ability to secure a clean, ethical kill with a single bullet. Now, you can technically kill anything that walks the earth with a .22, but…obviously, there are practical limits.
The reality is a .22 is only ever going to be an effective hunting tool for very small game and pest species. Think rabbits, squirrels, snakes, and the like.
For this type of hunting/pest control, you can probably get by with standard lead round nose (LRN) projectiles, but really you’ll want a copper-plated hollow point of at least 32gr and moving over 1200fps if at all possible.
This will give you the energy to deal with small game animals and pests reliably and will reliably cycle something like a temperamental semi-auto as well.

Choosing .22 Ammo for Plinking

For plinking, probably the most common use for a .22 pistol, the chief criteria is typically going to be the cost per round. Fortunately, bulk .22LR is probably the cheapest ammo on the planet, with some of the more budget-minded options coming in around $.08/round these days.
This makes it a great option for training as well, and is why you can get a .22 LR equivalent of most popular firearms, including AR-15s, Glocks, precision bolt actions, and more. This allows for some very affordable training with a very similar platform.
Is this type of ammo always super reliable? Unfortunately not, but for just blasting holes in old soda cans or exploding clay pigeons, that doesn’t matter so much. On the training side of things, you could even look at a dud primer or failure to extract as a feature instead of a bug.
After all, it forces you to practice your malfunction clears. Of course, we don’t want to spend all our time clearing stovepipes, but the occasional tap-rack-bang never hurt anybody at the range. Choose something from a reliable, well-known brand, and you’ll be just fine.

Choosing .22 Ammo for Target Shooting/Competition

For serious target shooting or competition, we need to step things up a little bit, and the bulk pack plinking ammo may not quite get the job done anymore. The sky is the limit here, and you can start getting ammo that costs $.40/round or more.
This is typically for something like NRL22, which involves using a .22 rifle to hit 3” targets at 100 yards. Not something you’d typically do with a .22 handgun unless maybe you’re Jerry Miculek.
For handguns, high-velocity match-grade ammo can be had for $.25-$.30/round because you really don’t need the consistency demanded by something like NRL22.
That said, if you’re qualifying for a major competition or there’s serious money on the line, maybe pony up for the good stuff, eh?

Choosing .22 Ammo for Defense

Lastly, and most contentiously, we have .22 pistol ammo for self and home defense.
I know, I know, it wouldn’t be the first thing I would reach for either, but for certain shooters, it makes a lot of sense. My mother is in her 70s and has arthritis, and her hand strength wasn’t super great, to begin with. For her, racking the slide on even a small .380 or 9mm isn’t an option.
She can yank back the extended grab handle on Ruger Mark IV, though. And I personally agree with her that 10 rounds of high-test .22 are a lot more effective at stopping a human attacker than harsh language or appeals to their better nature.
There are also a host of backup/holdout/micro-carry .22 options out there, like NAA revolvers, the Lifecard, and other derringer-style guns that people carry regularly. If that’s the case, and you’ve only got a few shots of an already-underpowered cartridge, you definitely need them to be good ones.
In that case, I recommend getting the highest-velocity defense-focused ammo you can. Something leaving the barrel at 1400fps+, with a nice slick nickel-plated casing and a well-designed hollow point. The CCI Stingers we talked about earlier, or Federal Punch ammo are both good choices.

Three weeks ago, I talked with Dad and told him that my husband and I were available to go to the property that was our family home and spend a week "helping clear things out." "Helping clear things out" is code for exactly what you might think: identifying donations and taking them where they need to go, getting trash to a dumpster, identifying the things they want to move to the house they now live in and get them ready to move, and getting ready for an auction.
We had planned to take our RV and stay for a full week because we can't stay in the 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house... the guest/caretaker has taken it over. We can't take our RV as planned, because the guest/caretaker has brought in too much junk for us to safely maneuver our RV (which is necessary in order to park).
I talked with Dad about renting a dumpster (20 or 30 yard roll off), because our time is more valuable than to load & make trips to the local dumpsters. He didn't follow through with getting quotes and setting that up.
He didn't talk with the guest/caretaker about needing to move vehicles out of the way so that we could bring our RV and start clearing things out. Right now, I don't even know where we would put the roll off.
I've talked with my husband about the situation, and am very seriously considering taking whatever Dad agrees that I can have and then... just not being available unless it works for my husband and/or me.
It's blatantly obvious that my parents' situation requires intervention. It's been obvious for quite some time. When I filed for guardianship and conservatorship of both in December 2019, the guardian ad litem (GAL) had concerns about both Mom and Dad's ability to manage their own interests.
I don't know when exactly, but at some time within the past 18 months one of Mom's doctors told Dad that if Dad didn't get help for Mom, he (the doctor) would report Dad to APS for neglect. Dad told me this himself. He took it seriously enough that they now have in home help for Mom. I don't know if Dad can't, or if he won't, tell me when the in-home help comes.
The neighbors agree that Dad doesn't understand how bad the situation is. At least they are now aware that I've tried to do something about it and my hands are tied.
My sister is the power of attorney. Over the course of the past 8 years, she has repeatedly demonstrated that she will use to her advantage information I obtain via professional courtesy and share with her because they're our parents, and then cut me out of communications. She has done this repeatedly, to the point that I have not been informed about numerous medical crises, inpatient procedures, hospitalizations, or transfers to rehabilitation centers. She insists that it's what Mom and Dad want. According to what Mom and Dad tell me, and what they tell their siblings, it isn't. Yet Mom and Dad won't do anything to change it, so as far as I'm concerned it is EXACTLY what they want. (My kids and husband agree that it's payback for me calling CPS and turning Dad in for SA on me when I was 12-15.)
I don't want to throw more money at the problem. It took me a year to pay off the attorney last time, and the money I spent on attorney and GAL fees then is money I should have spent obtaining professional credentials which would enable me to double my annual income. It's taken until now to again be in position to afford the fees for that program.
Helping them would be a time sink and an energy drain, and I have other things to do with both my time and my energy. About a year ago, even though I plan on being around another 30 years or so, I started decluttering and doing my own "death cleaning" because I don't want my stuff to control me any more and I don't want to do this to my kids. I don't want, and don't think it would be healthy, to put the needs of my own household on the back burner to be available to my parents when honestly, they were never available to me.
I've made a list of those professional services that are needed in addition to the in-home healthcare they already receive, so that they can live comfortably in the home they purchased for their retirement and the other properties sold (at their current home: lawn care services, housekeeping services, handyman services, medical transport, adult day care; at our family home: clutter removal, roll off rental, professional organizer, moving company, scrap metal hauler, estate sale services, auctioneer services). I am empowered to organize none of it, so I may as well not become further involved.
Were I to bear this in mind and become further involved anyway, it wouldn't improve the relationship with my sister. It would not improve my relationship with Dad. It would not restore the relationship with the son from whom I have been estranged for 18 years as a result of family dynamics involving Dad and my sister. It will not change the fact that Dad has set me up to take a fucking when it comes time to settle my parents' estate. My sister and I are supposed to be 50-50 heirs, and I 100% doubt that's how it'll work out by the time she's done being power of attorney and executor.
Dad is the barrier to moving forward with anything. He will not, and cannot be made to, either "shit or get off the pot." In theory, Dad wants to move forward and wants help doing so. In theory, Dad wants my help.
In practice, my time, education, professional expertise and professional connections mean nothing to him. He disregards any suggestion or recommendation I make. He ignores my considered opinion. He will not make plans or follow through on commitments. Add to that, he talks shit about my sons in front of me and he talks shit about me to our relatives behind my back. He lies, and tries to claim things that never happened despite the recollections of others involved and hard evidence to the contrary.
He will not ask for help in advance; he deliberately waits until the last minute, so that everything must be dropped or reworked in order to help him.
It is not possible to have a discussion with my sister and then tell our parents that we agreed ___. I've tried on numerous occasions. She will not agree to having me take lead on things involving Mom and her staying lead on things involving Dad, and meeting regularly to ensure we're both fully informed regarding each of our parents. Supposedly their attorney advised against this; per the elder law attorney I retained when I filed the petition for guardianship and conservatorship (who was recommended by the county board of guardians), it's the recommended arrangement.
She will not step back and let me hire a case manager (to deal with health and household) and a fiduciary (to deal with finances and estate planning/senior law). She will not step up, either.
I am as sure as I'm sitting here that Dad has ASD level 2. (While I am not a diagnostician or clinician, the bulk of my professional experience is in community based social services, special education instructional and behavioral support, and supported employment services for adults who have disabilities.)
I am aware that it's possible to have ASD and a personality disorder, and I believe with certainty that this is the case with my dad. I know he has been to counseling several times and is regarded to be resistant to treatment. (My dad has done some things that resulted in court ordered counseling. It was a waste of time. At least once after the court ordered counseling, my parents attempted marriage counseling; after some months, it was discontinued with neither of them feeling any resolution/improvement. About 25 years ago someone had the brilliant idea that my parents, sister, and I should attempt family counseling. I was receiving mental health services at the time and my provider told me to discontinue the sessions because they were harmful to me. Also at that time, my children were receiving children's' mental health services; their providers shared that they felt my parents deliberately interfered with the individual and family progress my children and I were making.)
I've talked with my husband and we agree that my parents' situation is not worth me winding up back in therapy or on medication.
I am very seriously considering just going through Mom's stuff with her, asking her if I can have __, and doing absolutely nothing to help with anything of Dad's.

• Play games like black desert online, stardew, horizon zero dawn, far cry 5-6, watch dogs legion, sims 3 & 4 and many more. I also plan on streaming/ recording video's with OBS and editing with wondershare filmora 11.

• US, Florida specifically. I dont have a microcenter close by but I could have things shipped from them.
