I know this group is for support in breakups so I wanted to see if anyone can help me out. Me and My girlfriend have been together for about a year now but it hasn't been easy. We barely ever see each other and when we do we fight about something and it seems so exhausting for me I often find myself wondering why I let myself get so stressed out about the one person who is supposed to take all My stress away. She gets mad at me for trivial things and to me it doesn't look like a huge deal and that makes her more mad because she thinks I don't care at all about us, which makes me think we are just in 2 different mind sets all the time. I always pour my heart and soul into the relationship regardless of how I'm feeling and love her to the most of my ability but I'm often met with comments saying I don't care about her and I'm not doing enough, part of me gets saddened hearing things come from someone I put so much into but another part of me thinks maybe I'm just not the person she sees herself with and that's my queue to let her get on with life and find someone more fitting to her description. I should also note that a couple of weeks ago i dug up enough courage to tell her that I haven't been feeling happy with us and I don't want to be together anymore, she started crying and begging me to stay and couldn't understand why I was leaving. And seeing her like that made me feel so guilty that I ended up being convinced by her saying it would get better aslong as we both try. However as much as I've tried to make it work I find myself short on fumes from everything before that I feel like it's already gone if that makes sense? Like I did everything I could and fixing it now all seems a little too late, wounds are too deep. I understand I've lost My temper and sometimes been the source of her sadness too I don't think relationships have one completely innocent side but I do feel like maybe it's time to just call it quits and move onto something else. I also can't pkay games with My buddies or see them because she says things like "I see what's more important to you" which gaslights me into not feeling like doing anything. So I just sit alone and try my best to ignore it all. I do love her And she can be great sometimes, she cooks for me and takes care of me when I'm sick and compliments me and buys me gifts and it's really nice to have that side but it's like there's a switch and she becomes this immensely nasty person who wants to hurt me because she's feeling hurt about something. it's very overwhelming.

So, I've paused on writing my D&D story series (insert ad: check out my ongoing series Hjulbrek Hunhivehr's Book of Grudges if you're a D&D nerd like me) and I've decided to write this post about what I learned from writing stuff on the side. Keep in mind, this isn't going to be a how-to guide on "becoming more organized" or "write up a diagram of what you want to do"; sometimes stuff like that doesn't work for some people, even though it's important. Instead, I'm going to make a guide on writing for people like me who've spent years making projects, trying to follow through, but eventually just leave then to gather dust on in your laptop/phone/book storage.
Anyway, before I forget to write this post, let's get to it.

Tip #1: Routine
For people with time, money, and good life-choices, it's a hell of a lot more easy to sit down and write; that is, if you're naturally good at writing, that is. Heck, it's a hell of a lot HARDER for people with no time in the day, barely any money to pay off their student loans, and who made the genius decision to apply for a B.F.A. in Theatre. We're getting a little off-topic. If you have neither of the stuff I listen above, you will struggle, and most of your stuff will probably be crap; however, dont be dissuaded to share it with others. Heck, I dare say that it's fine to write crap. Without bad writing, we can't learn to understand what is good writing. That's why it's good to make a routine of it: get the experience first, and then write a classic second.
As a person who hyperfocuses on stuff, I've never been comfortable with writing at a desk. I got too much on my mind every day, so instead I write my thoughts and ideas down so that I don't have bother my family with talking all the time about it. It doesn't matter how I write it down: notebook, phone, laptop, chalkboard, my own skin if I get really bored, just as long as I'm creating something. Some of my best work is actually written down while I'm walking around my city while typing on my phone or on the treadmill; that doesn't work for some people, but for someone like me who's a stocky, absent-minded hick from East Bumblefuck, Saskatchewan, it helps me focus on the writing while also feeling less conscious about my weight.
TLDR: Set up a writing routine; doesn't have to be scheduled by calendar, just write down the foundations of a story and add onto it periodically. Don't stress about the final product, just write it down and look over it; let the stuff flow, and come back later if you got an idea to add.

TL;DR: I [M23] hung out one-on-one for the first time with a very good friend [F20] suffering from severe social anxiety, exhibiting the exact opposite behavior as she usually does (confortable with me touching her physically and being close to me, sustained eye contact was frequent, verbal communication was on point, wasn’t showing any sign of shyness or being reserved, etc.), and we both felt the exact same unusual emotions and feelings we aren’t able to precisely identify at the same time when we left each other for the night. I would like some opinions that would help me identify those feelings.
I [M23] don’t tend to overthink stuff like this, and I find this situation particularly weird and the odds seem kinda off to me because this an unusual behavior between us, so here’s the situation: my hospitalized friend [F20] has the right to go anywhere out the hospital for 2 hours every day, so we took that opportunity to see each other and have a great time together at her place. She is usually the kind of person who avoids eye contact and touch, and tends to exhibit signs of severe social anxiety (I’m not making that up, that’s a diagnosis), such as playing with her hair, having difficulty talking coherently or talking at all, being extremely reserved, etc., even with me, having a very good bond since I’m one of the only person who understands what she’s going through and I’m easily able to communicate with her because for some reason, decoding her non verbal language is extremely easy to me and I manage to "convert" her body language into words very accurately, I know for sure because I always ask her if the words I placed match what she is trying to tell me, and her answer is extremely enthusiastic almost every time.
Now, when we saw each other, the EXACT OPPOSITE behaviors were exhibited: very good verbal communication, no trouble having me touching her physically (I’m a nurse student and when I asked if I could listen to her lungs with my stethoscope, she didn’t hesitate to give consent at all, despite letting her know that I had to place the stethoscope directly on her back under her clothes for proper audition), no sign of anxiety, no trouble being physically closer to me than usual, frequent and sustained eye contact, etc.
Additionally, it was the very first time hanging out together one-on-one.
When I dropped her back to the hospital and went back home, I sent her a text message telling her that I strangely felt empty, numb and sad, and that I didn’t understand the nature of these emotions because we had a really great time. She answered that she felt exactly the same. We thought it was really odd for us to feel exactly the same despite not being together anymore when these feelings emerged. So I proposed the hypothesis that since these emotions were not present when we were together, then leaving must have triggered that sudden reversal upon our feelings. She agreed with that idea. We know we are feeling other things too, but we are unable to pinpoint exactly what they are.
So I would like to have your opinion on this situation or some insight because I do not understand. What’s going on? Are we falling in love? Is that what it feels like? I’ve got so many questions. I’ve been in serious romantic relationships before, so what gives?

Hey all,
I was wondering if those with some greater experience in designing classes or subclasses for their table could have a look through this subclass and tell me if there is anything that stands out as drastically incorrect so that I can adjust accordingly in my first few sessions.
While starting my most recent campaign I decided to design a new Warlock subclass that better fit the backstory of one of my players. The character is a Level 6 Pact of the Blade Warlock who is a tiefling that resides from Stygia. They really liked the visual of a frontline fighter with a focus on ice and cold spells, and wanted a greatsword made out of ice, which we decided could be formed from the river Styx itself (no issues here, but it led to the design of the subclass). Both the Hexblade and Fathomless subclasses had pieces that fit the theme, but both had features that didn't go too well with their design, so here we are.
The main focus was around their family's home plane of Stygia from the Hells, and is designed to be a resilient frontline fighter surrounding their greatsword. Reading up on the Styx, it has a few capabilities that involve luring victims into itself, so the class has both combat related effects and some manipulation or necromantic utility.
Hopefully asking for some assistance here doesn't go against the guidelines, but if it does I will adjust as needed. Any feedback on the design or balance is welcome, and thanks for any help in advance!
Expanded Spell List
Your connection to the Styx lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

• 1st: Create or Destroy Water, Ice Knife
• 2nd: Blur, Web (appears as water from the Styx)
• 3rd: Speak with Dead, Spirit Guardians
• 4th: Compulsion, Ice Storm
• 5th: Cone of Cold, Modify Memory

Traveler of the Styx
At first level, your connection to the Styx has granted you gifts to ensure your safety as you travel, and that others do not forget the fear of its embrace.

• You learn the Shape Water cantrip.
• You gain a swimming speed equal to your walking speed.
• You can change the damage type of any cantrip you cast to cold damage.

Shard of Stygia
At 1st level, you gain a weapon forged out of a shard of Stygian ice known as the Stygian Shard. You choose the form that this melee weapon takes when you gain this feature. You are considered proficient with the Stygian Shard while you wield it, and it can be used as a spellcasting focus for your Warlock spells. When you attack with the Stygian Shard, you can use your Charisma modifier, instead of Strength or Dexterity, for the attack and damage rolls, and it deals cold damage instead of its original damage type.
If you later gain the Pact of the Blade feature, the Stygian Shard immediately becomes your pact weapon as if you performed the ritual described within the feature, and you cannot change your pact weapon.
You gain a number of Stygian charges equal to your proficiency bonus that you can expend on a variety of effects while you are wielding the Stygian Shard, regaining all charges on a short rest. If an effect includes a save, its DC is equal to your spell save DC. If an effect deals damage, it deals damage equal to your Stygian die, which is 1d6 at 1st level. You can only use one effect per turn.

• Wrath: When you hit a creature, you can expend a charge to cause it to make a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes additional necrotic damage equal to your Stygian die and is knocked prone. On a successful save, the creature takes half the damage and isn't knocked prone.
• Drown: You can expend a charge as a bonus action to target a number of creatures within 30 feet of you equal to the number of d6s in your Stygian die. Until the end of your next turn, those creatures have their speed halved, cannot make opportunity attacks, and opportunity attacks against them have advantage.
• Flow: When a creature hits you with a melee weapon attack, you can expend a charge as a reaction to cause the creature to make a Dexterity saving throw. The creature takes necrotic damage equal to your Stygian die on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. You gain a number of temporary hit points equal to the damage dealt.

Stygian Adaptability
At 6th level, you become increasingly resistant to the allure of The Styx, and learn to guide others through the dangers similar to the Stygian realm for a period of time.

• Your Stygian Shard gains a +1 to attack and damage rolls, and your Stygian Die increases to 2d6.
• You gain resistance to cold damage.
• You can cast Water Walk once per long rest. In addition to its effects, all creatures you target with the spell gain a number of temporary hit points equal to your Stygian die, and can take the Dash action as a bonus action while walking on a body of water.

Soul of the Styx
At 10th level, your understanding of the Styx and its movements has allowed you to manipulate your spells and Stygian Shard to replicate its power.

• Your Stygian Shard gains a +2 to attack and damage rolls, and your Stygian Die increases to 3d6.
• When you would deal cold damage, you can change the damage type to necrotic instead, and vice versa.
• Once per short rest, when you deal cold or necrotic damage, you can expend a Stygian charge to deal additional damage equal to the maximum value your Stygian die. If the triggering spell or attack targets more than one creature, you choose one of them to be affected. Additionally, you can use this feature to enhance the Flow effect from your Shard of Stygia, causing it to affect twice as many creatures.

Master of the Styx
At 14th level, your understanding of the Styx has become a part of your being, allowing you to traverse it at will and disregard its pull to the Hells altogether.

• Your Stygian Shard gains a +3 to attack and damage rolls, and your Stygian Die increases to 4d6.
• You gain immunity to cold damage, and resistance to necrotic damage.
• Once per long rest, when you would be reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead, gain a number of temporary hit points equal to your Stygian die, and regain all Stygian charges.

After reading the findings by several people who tested the game responsiveness, the bottomline is that the CS2 servers are still running 64 ticks but with better response and enhanced shooting accuracy. In simple words, servers are 64 ticks but they have made the client side subtick. This means the bullets registry etc. will be accurate but you wont feel the same level of smoothness as 128 ticks. I have explained this below.

TECHNICAL DETAILS

So, Valve has basically introduced timestamps on client side, so whenever the client sends packet to the server, there is one extra packet which stores the exact timestamps of important moments, this includes shooting and movement etc. The server is still running on old tick, which means there are 64 transactions in a second, but when the server makes calculation, it uses that timestamp in the packet and not the packet receipt time, which means all the bullets are as accurate as they can be. This is a major upgrade over 64 ticks and a cool engineering, but this will still be beaten by faceit when they copy timestamps way of doing things, providing accuracy of subtick + smoothness of 128.
Note that the number of packets sent by client side will now look similar to what we see in 128 ticks because as I mentioned above, the client is now sending one extra packet of timestamps with every original packet. Hence its easy to confuse it with 128 ticks.

If I have strong feelings that someone is speaking badly about me, is it a violation to ask tarot cards if this is happening? Let me specify that I don’t know exactly who it would be that’s talking about me, but I am asking to find out who it is and I am asking for clarification about who it is. My stomach hurts thinking about this. I also have rants with my cards and will gossip about what I’ve experienced with others and I’m having a really hard time understanding if I am violating ppls boundaries and I am completely in the wrong. I look back at my recorded readings and I’m like .. I am so upset with this person and I’m asking if they were wrong for what they did that hurt me and I’m just not sure if I am coming from the right direction and it’s stressing me out. I note that my questions are not about what they are doing behind my back, but more so it’s like “they are doing shit behind your back”, it’s like I ask if someone is deceiving me and I ask what type of relationship we have and I make an assumption from the cards I pull and I’ll be pulled strongly to someone and then rant about that, but it’s never like I’m asking about what they’re doing, but I do make up stories in my head about what I think they’re doing and that stresses me out. I feel so wrong for having strong feelings that a specific person is leading me wrong without having much evidence except for my feelings and my card pulls, but I’ve also gotten readings done, where I ask something about myself and then it gets exposed to me that someone/people are talking bad about me behind my back and that makes me want to find out even more what’s going on, but I’m getting to a point where I’m like, I don’t think this is healthy at all, and it never was. If people are talking about me, let them. It’s not my business, and that’s why I feel so fucking wrong. I’m realizing that I don’t always ask the right questions and I’m afraid I’m doing things that are big no no’s and that I’m violating others boundaries. Also, I’m not a seasoned tarot reader, I just know that there is a message being conveyed, but I’m not sure what it is and maybe that’s for the best because I don’t feel confident in my intentions. And I think what fucks with me is I light a candle before I use my deck, and before I do that I set the intention for peace and serenity, I do that every time before I light it on, especially when I do readings for myself. And now I’m questioning would it be considered lighting a candle on someone if I talk about them with my tarot cards?

Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) is an elusive beast that has eluded [official] detection for years. The current “big dog” Grand Theft Auto V was first released way back in September 2013, and has been available across two console generations (Xbox 360/PS3 and Xbox One/PS4). It will even be available natively on next-generation Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles, which is quite unprecedented in the gaming realm. So, while Rockstar seems reticent to just letting us wait in agony for any news on GTA 6, it is at least giving us some new updates on its two current hot properties: GTA Online and Red Dead Online.
In the case of the incredibly popular (and highly lucrative) GTA Online, Rockstar says that a big “summer update” is coming for gamers with a “fun mix of diverse” content to partake in. Even more interesting is the fact that the developers indicate that its “biggest update ever” is coming before the end of 2020. That update will include new Heists that will take place in a completely new location, which has definitely piqued our interests.
red dead online As for Red Dead Online, its next big update is actually arriving next week; on July 28th to be exact. Red Dead Online hasn’t exactly been teaming with new content, as the last big update for the online component of Red Dead Redemption 2 dropped way back in December 2019. However, Rockstar is promising a new Frontier Pursuit mode with a focus on “naturalism” and a new battle pass-type component, which is conveniently named Outlaw Pass. Finally, Rockstar says that it has addressed tons of bugs with the game and has taken community feedback to heart with this release, which is definitely appreciated.
In addition to the game updates on the way, Rockstar also took the time to address the well-being of its online communities. “We are also committed to ensuring that our games are fun for everyone and as safe as possible from modders, cheaters, hackers, and those who seek to harass other players,” said the company in its blog post.
“So far this year, we have taken action on hundreds of thousands of players caught violating community rules across both games. Please help us keep our communities safe and fun by reporting any sort of cheating either directly in-game or via our dedicated web reporting tools for both Red Dead Online and GTA Online.”
It's good to see that Rockstar is cracking down on those looking to spoil the fun for everyone, and its methods for “taking out” such offenders is among the best in the industry.

Hi there, I’m new here but suffered now for over 6 years with many medical illnesses and disabilities, none due to any fault of my own. The first was simply being unlucky I suppose. I’m not giving any big, big details away regarding the specific circumstances of some of the medical problems, due to their rarity, as you never know who sees what, online these days.
I apologise as well in advice if any of my sentences or English, is incorrect or confusing, I do suffer with my abilities to communicate. So please feel free to ask for me to rephrase or message me, for more info.
The first question is simple. I’ve been ignored, lied to, mistreated, and laughed at by the NHS for a while now. Even with physical proof, from pictures, diaries, family accounts, and other witnesses to my symptoms elsewhere. In jobs, friends etc. it’s become so bad, that every time I go to a new appointment I have to start at the beginning of the 6 year build up of problems. Most doctors will go “Well that’s a lot of information, and problems, I can only help with one.” Is that true? I ask, because I sit and struggle to understand why this rule exists. Especially given the severity of my problems, which have caused multiple “close calls” which even the staff in the hospitals I’ve visited have admitted to.
When this happens, it becomes a lot harder, to then pick on the spot, due to also, brain fog I suffer with. So I ask them what they think is most important. Then, they send me out letters or appointments and I always tell them, the moment I leave this room, unless I can record this, I will forget what’s said. I ask for permission to record because of this reason and it’s rejected every time.
I feel now, I want to just ignore, not ask, and not explain, and just do it. As when other medical experts come along, and ask me updates, or what others have said, tried etc, I have nothing to say. I look physically perfectly healthy. I’ve even been told, with the results they revive from my medical tests, I shouldn’t have tests be “so dangerously low/high, and it’s probably wrong.” Then, they text me again, and it happens all over again. They’ll repeat these tests then until, they get a negative. Even whilst I’m on the antibiotics for these symptoms, etc. When I mention this to the next person, I’m told that’s incorrect.
I know it’s not, because I’ve seen the tests on the screen. I’ve taken pictures when I’ve been left alone. I’ve had family come to some appointments.
I don’t know what to do at this rate as nothing seems to be happening, sometimes, I’ll miss appointments because I get one letter, and I’m blind. This means then, with my memory loss, blindness and no way to give me a reminder I’ve asked, the appointments come and go.
I just feel overall, I’d be more confident, able to understand and remember information if I recorded it. Can I do so without their knowledge? If it’s only voice recording about me?

I’m dating someone who is clearly not over their ex (probably never will be) and it’s exhausting. Having to constantly hear about how their ex did this and that I just can’t anymore. It’s been about 2 years of the same bs. I want to be patient because I genuinely love and care for this person and I can tell they’re trying we just moved in together. However there’s only so much I can take and know I only have control of my own feelings. I just don’t know what to do and or go about it. I’m mentally and physically checked out.

Ultimately, the storyline for GTA 6 is anyone's guess at this point. However, it's safe to assume that Rockstar Games will continue to push the boundaries and create a narrative that is engaging, thought-provoking, and, above all, fun to play.

I didn't realise this was a demisexual thing but i think it is. I have a deep need for someone that I can really trust and be honest with and have an emotional connection with and be able to tell them anything and just really enjoy their company and be totally comfortable with them.

But on the other hand, I don't think of myself as having friends. I have like a fair amount of people who I know the names of and I'll say hi or make small talk with them. A bunch of which I'd consider to be acquaintances. But like I wouldn't consider any of them to be friends? Its like I just have a higher bar of emotional connection before I would call someone my friend and there's just no one in my life that meets that bar and I want to have someone like that but I don't know how to get them.

I'm watching Family Guy. There was some dumb joke about 9/11 being the fault of the security guards who let the terrorists on the planes. I look up the writer who seems to write a lot with Seth MacFarlane. He is related to CIA Director Peter Goss. Seth MacFarlane famously was supposed to be on the 9/11 planes but got hungover and missed it.
