Hello everyone, I'll try to keep this as concise as possible.
Last month while cycling in brussels I accidently hit a car, it was my fault as I lost balance causing a very minor scratch on the fender of a car. Regardless to my advice at the time, the owner did not want to fill in a European Accident statement only exchanging phone numbers.
That evening (2 hours after accident) I receive a text from the owner saying that it polished off and the damage would be 50 EUR, I told the owner "No problem, just send me the invoice as proof" he tells me "With invoice there is an extra cost for the VAT and administrative cost, will then be 150EUR" fearing that he was trying to pull a quick one, I decided to handle this through my insurance company to make it official.
My insurance company (aware of the SMS conversation) is handling communications with the owner of the car and just got in contact with me today. They told me that the owner is claiming he needs me to fill in an accident statement forum in order for him to A. process a claim with his insurance provider. &, B. The autobody shop won't give him a damage statement forum (to give to my insurance company of cost of damage) without the insurance companies approval.
My Questions:

1. It has been over a month since the accident occurred and now he wants to fill in a accident report forum, is this allowed? If so... should I clearly state the date on which I am signing to make it clear that it was not on the date the accident happened?
2. His statement of how the damage occurred was not representative of how it happened, he is claiming I caused more damage to other parts of his vehicle that I had touched with my hands to prevent my bicycle hitting his vehicle, at the time we both agreed there was no damage other than what was on the front fender. I have picture evidence.
3. He seems to be untruthful about damages in the SMS messages and now is trying to go to an autobody shop to get a damage statement forum, regardless to him saying it was 150 EUR for an official invoice, should I raise this concern with my insurance once again?

Any input here is much appreciated, I know... 50 EUR, why bother bringing insurance on this? Well, I wanted to make things official to prevent him from coming back to me later on saying it would be more, besides, I am only young (plenty of time) and I figure this is a good learning process to become more familiar with European insurance since I'm originally from Canada.

I work in audit and I left a really fast paced overwhelming job after 2 years for one that was promised to be “less demanding” and good for work life balance. The one good thing about my old job was that I was paid over market rate and when I applied for my new job i was offered a few hundred over that salary as an incentive to switch (even though I was very willing to take a pay cut for a healthier environment).
Because of this.. unprompted salary, my boss is becoming unbearable. He’s very cheap and exploitative and I’m learning that I make 20% than most of the staff there (even those senior to me). Every time a client makes demands on him, he has landlord issues with the building, someone quits etc.. I swear this man takes it out on me. Someone went on vacation and I was forced to pick up their work (which I was told wasn’t customary) and he was also demanding it a whole month earlier than when it was submitted last year.
In my interview I was specific to mention I’m not willing to work weekends and he told me they don’t work weekends at this firm. 2 months into the job I get an email specifically saying “I need you to complete this file over the weekend and have it submitted for my review first thing Monday morning”.
I want to resign because I’ve clearly been deceived and am being exploited but there are no job openings anywhere except for the same shitty firms I came from. My husband runs a photography business that does fairly well and we’re considering I just work for him until I find something but I’ve never been without a job. Im struggling and I feel so stuck because we recently paid for a wedding and I recently got sick from the old office I work in and had to pay out of pocket since my insurance isn’t active until my 6 months is up so that made a massive dent in the little savings I had.
I have no debt but we have rent and utilities. How feasible is it to quit with nothing lined up?

I just keep loosing to dreadnought because I try to destroy the back eyes and the "needles" do extreme damage. If you know some tips give me them :)

I hope I am doing this correctly as I have never posted on here before. So there is a recall out for my truck, it is for the fuel delivery system. Pretty major part of any vehicle. Well it’s been over a year and they still do not have parts. I am still paying on this truck, that is barely getting any power, it’s basically dehydrated. You can tell as I am driving or even as it’s running and idling. This has also caused problems with the transmission as when the transmission goes to switch gears, and my truck should be accelerating it is just idling. Think your vehicle switches gears, normally you’d accelerate, mine loses power, gas petal is useless for roughly 5 seconds then it’ll kick in, then by this time my transmission is down shifting due to my loss in speed but now that I’m accelerating it has to change gears again. I have tried contacting the manufacturer, who rerouted me to my local dealership, who then told me to check my mail because they will mail me something when they get parts. I tried explaining my problems to both. My truck is now in the shop due to this issue. I don’t know what to do. Ever since the problems came up, and the dealership and manufacturers didn’t really help me out, I have been having my truck checked regularly so I have documentation(use shop for work vehicles so when I come pick up a company vehicle, they’ll inspect my truck for me since it’s just sitting there). Anyways, I’m not sure what to do. I have reports from over the last year on how this recall is affecting my truck negatively. It’s only getting worse. And they still do not have parts. If I get the recall fixed myself could I get reimbursed? What about the damage it has caused to other components of my truck? What if it just keeps ruining it more and more? Will they replace it even though it’s not a “safety recall”(even though it is a safety hazard due to power loss)? Has anyone ever been through getting a vehicle replaced due to a recall? I’m just lost. I don’t know what to do.

Some guy took advantage of me and finished in me without telling me till after. Obviously was mad and tried to leave. I took plan b 5 hours after the incident as this was how fast I could get it. I get painful jelly legs on day 2 or 3.

As you can see, all habits are grouped together at the bottom (even though morning habits start at 10am). I want it to show morning habits at the top at the correct position. How can I do that?

By now you must have undoubtedly heard about Reddit killing third party apps and most associated add-ons. We are a small, low traffic community but I still find it important to stand in solidarity with all the subs that are going dark in protest.
On June 12th I will set this subreddit to private for at least 48 hours.
Killing third-party apps is counterintuitive, stifling, and completely unacceptable. Further, I am greatly disappointed with how Reddit has handled this whole fiasco.
We all deserve better.

My dad left me a small flat in my home country, which i sold for around 50k. Im 36, i started working in this job a year ago. I moved back to this country after 4 years of being my dads carer, so i dont have any friends yet and circle. I also broke my leg which has kept me inside for a while. Its an extremely pathetic environment but it does pay quite well. Its in the civil service, i didnt know it was that boring. My department has 6 people, none goes to the office, ever. (which is difficult for me with no kids, no friends, etc). And they are quite weird, for example 1 never talks to me and ignores my job and when i talk to him, the other guy is sending me messages telling me how skinny i am etc. Its like the civil service attracts all the weirdos. We dont work. Literally. None checks my work, none asks what ive done, there are days i play video games all day and none cares. And this can be extremely depressive. Its got a bad name among recruiters, my employer, because everyone knows how slow and lame things are, they know we are procrastinators. Since i started in this role, i havent had any interview. Im very confused about what to do. Its been one of the worst years of my life. Partly cos of the grieving and partly because of how lame this job/its people are.

Hello. I (f24) have been with my S.O (m27) for 9 months. 3 months back I had a systemic bacterial infection which spread to my heart. Since then I am trying to get back on track and graduate from college.. Not working and being some kind of "stay at home girlfriend" fucked me up mentally. I have issues finding energy and focus and start to procrastinate things. Physical excercise and brain fog is making it difficult to plan my day. I forget to do stuff that I was looking forward to. My boyfriend is very supporting but not satisfied that I cant set priorities, forget a lot and am not as tidy as I used to be. Note: I do in no way justify my behaviour by saying this illness I had or childhood ab*se caused it. Thats BS. I am a grown woman and cant blame everything that happened to me on bad experiences I had decades ago. Its neccessary to take responsibility for your own actions as an adult.
I am trying to figure out how I can fullfill his needs better and be more attentive/be a better girlfriend. I tend to daydream a lot and forget things easily. I try to get back to accounting asap because I think being in the workforce again could improve my condition and help me focus on goals in the future. Writing To-Do Lists didnt help at all lol, I just dont look at them during the day. I love him a lot and dont want him to be angry or sad with me. Sometimes I feel like I am just doing everything wrong and I am a burden. I cook/clean do household organizing but I just keep forgetting things and have issues to be on time e.g, I really want to change that.

I'm a guy in my mid 20s, succesfull in my career. All my life I struggled a lot to achieve where I'm rn in my life but in this process I sacrificed so many things and one of them is dating. I was talking to a girl ( for dating ) recently and some things happened and I realised that I am too naive to understand other people's intentions. She was basically a two faced girl and I was not able to understand it for a very long time until now and it's hurting me now.
I am feeling like in this world I missed experiences and behind everyone else. I still have that kind of personality where you believe on whatever other person is saying and fully trust them. I still love unconditionally while I felt people have come over that phase in their school or early college life only and for them their self interest dominates more than the feeling of love.
It's making me feel sad that how easily people can take advantage of me. I'm also worried that I would never be able to judge the real intentions of other person until they show it themselves if I try to go on a arrange marriage route. I am afraid that I would spoil my life if I pick a wrong partner.
