Hi everyone,
On Thursday we had our neckfold scanning at our public hospital where we are followed, and we got a measurement of 3:1, and therefore a risk for chromosome 21 / downsyndrome of 1:273. They therefore offered us NIPT test, placenta testing or amniocentisis.
We already had an NIPT scan last week at private and just got the results that they are normal, so it would not make sense to repeat the NIPT. If we chose NIPT again at public and it would show the same results, they wouldn’t offer us additional testing like CVS or amniocentesis.
We are considering CVS only because it could be done asap rather than amniocentisis (12 weeks pregnant now), but scared of the risk for miscarriage.. + false positive on mosaic.. Am I right to assume that NIPT would have caught then mosaic as well?
I am looking for any input and experiences with CVS, both good and bad? Is 1:273 a huge risk, or the risk of miscarriage? For my first pregnancy in December, I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks so I am very scared of bleeding or cramping.
For the first time this pregnancy, I had a little bit of bleeding and then cramping yesterday and got so scared almost did not move out of bed / couch for the rest of the day. I am hoping it might be stress, I generally noticed I get small pains whenever I am anxious about something.. We have our CVS booked on Monday but also not sure if its too risky now after bleeding yesterday.

So I was hoping to go for a hike, I don't know if there are any trails nearby, but I'm hoping for something easy, like driving out in the early morning before sunrise, hiking, come back by 8 PM or so.
Or something longer is fine with me too, I know it's summer and this isn't hiking season. But I need to touch grass and spend some time doing something new or else I'm going to burn out.
So any suggestions, please?

The first screen I see is the image uploaded and I can't do anything. The first time I launch following the update the trailer played fine and then it went to this screen. Now I just get this screen when I load. System details: Model - LENOVO_MT_82JQ_BU_idea_FM_Legion 5 Pro 16ACH6H OS - Windows 11 Enterprise Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621 CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 5600H with Radeon Graphics, 3301 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s) GPU - Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 RAM - 16GB Disk - 500GB NVME M2 I've tried everything in the troubleshooting here: https://www.epicgames.com/help/en-US/fortnite-c5719335176219/technical-support-c5719372265755/how-to-fix-fortnite-crash-and-technical-issues-a5720350749339 I've also updated graphics drivers to the latest version (Game Ready 535.98), ran Windows updates and reinstalled the game. Hi! Im youknow and I have played D&D for about 4 years now. I have always been a player, so this will be my first dming experience! So expect some hiccups in play.
We are going to use roll20 for play and character sheets, and discord for voice. I expect sessions to happen every other Sunday around 1:30 central time, but it could change depending on what happens. Sessions last 3 to 5 hours and end naturally most of the time. We currently have 3 players, so this would be a 5 person party. There will be a mix of combat and roleplay, sometimes leaning into roleplay.

Hello and thank you for taking interest in my post.
I have been taking care of a stray cat for over 2 months. I have called her Pauline because when I first started seeing her, she was laying in my neighbor's kids' "trampoline" to sun herself. She is probably about a year old by my estimation.
Anyway on to my concern, on Monday June 5, I took her (and another stray) to the vet to both be spayed. Things appeared to go as expected and the spay was allegedly typical. I brought them back home in as good of spirits as I felt a cat would after having surgery. I set carriers outside afterwards and fed and provided water afterwards. They both obviously moved a little slower as I would anticipate, but eventually after getting their fill, they wondered off and did their own things.
For Tuesday and Wednesday, I saw both cats at regular expected intervals of when they commonly showed up. They appeared to be doing well; seemed back to themselves practically. I felt like everything was a raging success.
Thursday, Pauline was late to morning feed. Didn't think much of it at the time, but stayed vigilant looking for her. Finally looked out my window at about 10 am and saw her sitting in her carrier I left out. I initially thought that was adorable she was resting in the cage and went out to feed.
She was not her usual perky self or excited. She was lethargic and listless. I held a treat to her face, and was uninterested. She stood up, and walked away slowly (as if annoyed) and I was concerned enough at that point to call the vet. They asked me to bring her in at 2 pm. I said I would do so if I could catch her again. I went back outside and found her wondering aimlessly. I reached down and picked her up and she made a barely audible cry as I carried her over to the carrier. Her mammeries appeared very swollen. I was worried if she could have had a litter I didnt know about that could have been the cause of this? She put up one initial struggle, and then completely gave in to me placing her inside the carrier (it was much more of a struggle when I first caught her to be spayed).
Went to the vet. Different vet than who performed the surgery. Reviewed the tenderness and belly. Was baffled by swollen nipples. Gave her antibiotic, and some pain relief tablets to administer. Vet tech took temperature and it was 104, a fever. Tech also said she was hydrated. Vet administered an antibiotic and gave me some pills to mix with wet food that was supposed to offer pain relief.
Brought her home and she would not leave the carrier. Couldn't entice her with multiple food options. I set up a camera in her room to monitor all activity (she is isolated from my indoor cat).
She got up only to use the litter box (solid stool) and urinate. Then she immediately lays back down. Occassionally readjusts her orientation, but not moving.
Not much changed throughout the rest of the evening. 3 AM saw her take her first drink of water. Seen her drink a few more times that morning and afternoon (Friday).
I called the vet again in the morning and mentioned no eating. They prescribed some medicine to apply to her ear that is supposed to encourage appetite (and some canned food). I picked up the food and applied the appetite inducer at about 1:30 PM and, alas, still has no interest in eating. She still looked dejected, hunched, lethargic.
At one point she used the litterbox to urinate, and afterwards, went into the bathtub to lay down, further isolation. Went to check on her at about 4 and I saw some dried pink smudge where I assumed she had layed. I worried it came from her belly and then called the vet a third time at 5.
They vet requested I bring her in to be examined. She cried when I picked her up to move her to the cage, not audible. When I set her into the cage, did not even adjust, just dumpy and staring. I was really concerned at this point (still am)
They took her temperature again; this time 99.7...took it twice to be confident. Vet came in and again is surprised by the swollen mammeries. He ran some blood tests, and she had low white blood cells and platelets. He noted she was not anemic. No signs of bleeding. Basically I don't think the tests drew any conclusiveness to what is going on. Tested for feline lukemia, and came back negative. They attempted to do two tests for cat parvo (forget the name of the disease he tested for), unfortunately both test strips did not work and so this was inconclusive.
They administered an IV to give her fluids (she was dehydrated at this point) and they gave her a syringe by mouth of some antibiotic (which I am supposed to administer daily). The vet tech suggested I could syringe watered down food.
So after all that, the blood tests provided no indicators as to what was wrong. The vets conclusion was that she has a combination of swollen mammeries due to hormonal regulation, an infection, and (potentially) a virus?
I brought her home from the vet at 6:30PM. She left the cage at 2 AM Saturday morning to pee, and then went back to the cage. Has not ate or drank.
I am pretty exhausted, worried, and not sure what I can do. I haven't wanted to pull her out of the cage to force feed as I imagine that would be uncomfortable. I would do so if anyone thinks this could help restore her energy, but I feel like letting her rest for the evening.
Anyway, I am up late, concerned, and turning to reddit for any advice or suggestions for anything more I can do to care for this girl. I feel a lot of personal guilt for her suffering right now and am trying to do the right thing.
Tldr: Took two strays to the vet to be spayed Monday. Appeared to be doing well for first 2 days. Found cat listless and despondent in carrier two days later and took her to vet Thursday. Vet baffled by swollen nipples, administered antibiotic and gave me pain meds to administer in food. Cat refuses to eat. Haven't seen her eat since Wednesday. Has drank water occasionally and used bathroom (peed and solid poop). Called Vet Friday worried about food intake and continued lethargy. Prescribed medication to apply to ear to encourage eating. Applied and was still concerned with lack of energy. Saw her laying on towel and tub with some light thin red discharge. Called Vet again and went for another appointment Friday. Performed blood tests that were inconclusive. Tested for feline lukemia and was negative. Administered IV and gave antibiotic by syringe (I am supposed to administer for a week).
Cat has only left carrier to urinate once since afternoon visit.
Any additional consideration or advice is immensely appreciated.

 | I wash it twice a week. The last 4 weeks have been heat-free and I don't plan on using heat ever again. I tried CGM for 12 months and the amount of work/time/products it takes, was upsetting for me, and the benefits were really minimal. Atm I am just obsessed with trying to moisturise it, using oils and conditioning masks. I am trying scalp massages etc. Just always seems so frizzy, dry etc. But my hair really hates build up so I have to clarify shampoo it once per week. This is effectively killing third party Reddit apps. These changes which will have a big effect on the reddit experience of users.
Many moderator bots, for example, are third party. With these changes, the subs you frequent will have a much harder time controlling spam and moderating their communities in general.
There is also an accessibility issue. Third party apps are designed to be more accessible to disabled people (For example visually impaired or blind users who cannot use Reddit’s mobile app).

We have decided to have the community vote whether mrballen will join the protest.
These are the options;
Stay open. The subreddit continues to be available and public as usual.

New player, been playing for about two weeks and do late nights on my shift. Really weird issue where it seems 99% of the time I'm riding on a steed and everything freezes and horse stops moving / can't dismount / etc, and then it takes about 4-10 restarts to get back into game. Server for Galladum(?) or whatever says it's up every time I log in, but sure doesn't seem up. I tried killing my DirectX 11, lowering settings, checking router (Internet is fine), and restarting Windows, but it seems random other than fact it happens 1) late and night and 2) on a horse 99% of the time.
Do servers have regular maintenance from 1-3AM Central time or something every day? Or is something else bugged out with my client??

We inexplicably fell out when Ricky's Supernature released (May22) and I said rape jokes about transgender people were offensive and dangerous and my friend said "freedom of speech"/"right to offend".
Up to that point we had been talking on the phone 4 times a week for 6 ish years.
Over the past 12 months any dialogue between us always fell appart when he brought up transgender people.
I've finally blocked him on social media because we've reached the "trans women are men" "you can't change your genes" stage of the discourse and they emailed me parting message.
I have replied with:
I didn't realise why our relationship fell apart until I spoke with other people about it, everyone said the same thing (including people ignorant of my trans-ness): "why does he keep bringing transgender people into the conversation between you?". Thanks for the free therapy asktrans!
And yeah, I pointed out that if I am Green and saying I am blue, and he is saying I am red - the "teller" is the facist, he's now concluded the transes are the real facists. We didn't talk about facism until I brought it up a month ago.

There you go, you have cancelled me for having a different view to you on gender issues. I was trying hard to make you understand that every view is valid and just because you 'believe' something to be true it doesn't necessarily make it a reality. It's just your truth. Everyone should be entitled to voice their opinion or viewpoint without being called a Nazi, a bigot or a transphobe.For context, my "view" here is "trans women are women".
I am really shocked that you think your view is the only correct one. You surround yourself with people on twitter that share your view and are operating in an echo chamber. It's almost as if you have joined a cult.
There is nothing wrong with having an opinion on people who have transitioned from being one gender to another gender. I don't know why you are so sensitive?It's now abundantly clear, in black and white, that I am not the one causing the friction.
The argument on gender is irrelevant however and I think everyone should be treated fairly and equally irrespective of race, gender, sexual orientation etc. It doesn't matter.

So the timeline of inventions are:
We are currently partially at No. 10. Text to 3D world. In specific 3D conversion of 2D videos to 3D animated scenes.
2D videos have enough content to generate a full 3D first-person camera perspective that can be spanned. This is done by generative AI using predictive algorithms which generate the other half of a face or object or scenery.
The difference is that current VR devices allow watching of a movie via projection of a flat 2D screen in the virtual environment. This is not that immersive. 2D video to 3D animated scenes will allow a full 360 degrees panoramic view from *inside* the movie while the movie is being played in real time and also allow the first-person perspective to move within the frames of the 3D environment.
This technology will majorly affect the entertainment industry. In specific, Hollywood film-making wherein the actors can wear mixed reality gear and transfer their metahuman avatars into a VR 3D scene for acting or alternatively their real world characters into the 3D scene(AR wherein only their real world selves are framed-into the scene and everything else is VR).
In effect, actors/actresses will see the 3D scene in real time and act within the boundaries of the 3D scene. This will not only help them in immersion via acting but also eliminate the need for hiring of real world locations or sets or even use of any props(theatrical property).
Also, if a character is supposed to be completely virtual, like Grogu from The Mandalorian, the AI can do the acting for it in the virtual environment and the other actors can see Grogu and interact with it.
The above implementation majorly changes how films are currently made. Blue/Green-Screen acting is a very frustrating and demanding aspect of acting. This is completely immersive.
Also, 2D "Storyboards" in film-making can be directly converted into 3D interactive scenes which hugely cuts cost and time.
This tech also requires movie-watching theatres like IMAX, CNK, AMC, etc. to upgrade to mixed reality technology which allows an instanced 3D scene generation of the movie(initially) which is seen and heard via first-person perspective. Later-on, if it is feasible, the experience can be commonly shared between multiple audiences in real time via third-person perspective.
Outside of the entertainment industry, this technology provides assessment and preparation via 2D surveillance streams. Although this tech can not generate the internal lay-out of buildings, it assists humans in becoming familiar with the environment. Internal lay-out of buildings requires other types of radiative sensors which has to be used in real-time.
In respect to the gaming industry, this technology initiates a new type of underground economy. Every film, cartoon animation or video can now be converted into 3D scenes or even worlds. Each of these scenes/worlds can now be the background asset in a game.

We are currently partially at No. 10. Text to 3D world. In specific 3D conversion of 2D videos to 3D animated scenes.
2D videos have enough content to generate a full 3D first-person camera perspective that can be spanned. This is done by generative AI using predictive algorithms which generate the other half of a face or object or scenery.
The difference is that current VR devices allow watching of a movie via projection of a flat 2D screen in the virtual environment. This is not that immersive. 2D video to 3D animated scenes will allow a full 360 degrees panoramic view from *inside* the movie while the movie is being played in real time and also allow the first-person perspective to move within the frames of the 3D environment.
This technology will majorly affect the entertainment industry. In specific, Hollywood film-making wherein the actors can wear mixed reality gear and transfer their metahuman avatars into a VR 3D scene for acting or alternatively their real world characters into the 3D scene(AR wherein only their real world selves are framed-into the scene and everything else is VR).
In effect, actors/actresses will see the 3D scene in real time and act within the boundaries of the 3D scene. This will not only help them in immersion via acting but also eliminate the need for hiring of real world locations or sets or even use of any props(theatrical property).
Also, if a character is supposed to be completely virtual, like Grogu from The Mandalorian, the AI can do the acting for it in the virtual environment and the other actors can see Grogu and interact with it.
The above implementation majorly changes how films are currently made. Blue/Green-Screen acting is a very frustrating and demanding aspect of acting. This is completely immersive.
Also, 2D "Storyboards" in film-making can be directly converted into 3D interactive scenes which hugely cuts cost and time.
This tech also requires movie-watching theatres like IMAX, CNK, AMC, etc. to upgrade to mixed reality technology which allows an instanced 3D scene generation of the movie(initially) which is seen and heard via first-person perspective. Later-on, if it is feasible, the experience can be commonly shared between multiple audiences in real time via third-person perspective.
Outside of the entertainment industry, this technology provides assessment and preparation via 2D surveillance streams. Although this tech can not generate the internal lay-out of buildings, it assists humans in becoming familiar with the environment. Internal lay-out of buildings requires other types of radiative sensors which has to be used in real-time.
In respect to the gaming industry, this technology initiates a new type of underground economy. Every film, cartoon animation or video can now be converted into 3D scenes or even worlds. Each of these scenes/worlds can now be the background asset in a game.
Millions of humans have videos of their dead loved-ones. These can now be converted into 3D scenes with AI-powered control of the dead human(or no control and the dead human merely animates according to the original video) and the grieving or nostalgic human can relive the past event.
