The capabilities of these malicious JAR files include:

• Propagate itself to all jar files on the filesystem, possibly infecting mods that were not downloaded from CurseForge or BukkitDev, or other Java programs
• Steal cookies and login information for many web browsers
• Replace cryptocurrency addresses in the clipboard with alternates that are presumably owned by the attacker
• Steal Discord credentials
• Steal Microsoft and Minecraft credentials

Please take particular note of the fact that the virus attempts to install itself in other JAR files on your computer. You can not clear the infection just by removing the original malware JAR. At the present time, it is known that Windows and Linux systems are affected, but MacOS computers do not seem to be targeted.
As some servers, plugins, client launchers and mods may include the ability to automatically update themselves, even if you downloaded your mods months ago, you may be at risk.

Therefore, at this time, for your own safety, I recommend that you *refrain from using a modded client *until such time as anti-virus scanners have been updated to detect the malware and everyone is on top of the issue. I don't know when that will be, as I have only just found out.
The nerd.nu servers are not at risk. I have inspected the filesystem for signs of infection and it comes up clean. Also, for many years, it has been my policy to decompile and inspect the source code of server plugins when updating them, in anticipation of situations just like this.

I’ve been a swim instructor for almost a decade. I see 200+ kids a week and teach them all the exact same method. Every single one has learned to jump into the 12ft, float on their back, and swim the elementary back stroke to the side or across a 25 yr pool multiple times. Although we all learn at different rates, and have to overcome different fears, everyone has eventually learned the same things. To be calm and confident in the water, place your head and belly in the right position so you can breathe and float, and all four competitive strokes. My unpopular opinion is teach your kids to float on their back and move through the water with ease or take them to swimming lessons until they can jump in and do just that. If you’re not going to do so, then don’t go swimming. I have had experiences teaching kids and it is obvious they have worn flotation devices. Often. They are used to being vertical in the water and they kick their legs furiously straight down. This is the exact opposite of how you want your body to be when you are swimming. Horizontal, feet floating, head back….It is a nightmare to reverse. Not impossible but takes a lonnng time to come out of.
Learning to swim is a learned skill. It is not inherent like some may think. It may come easier to some but we all still need to learn the fundamentals of how we can balance our weight on top of the water as well as move the water. Going to the pool should not be a time when mom/dad gets to sit back, look at your phone and drink a seltzer while the kids play in their floats. Learn to swim independently first, then set everyone free to jump in and have a day at the pool!

I've spoken fairly good conversational Spanish for a while now.. but I can't seem to understand exactly why some words use "el/los" for words that end in an "a" (or vice-versa).. examples: "la radio, el sistema, la mano, etc."

I've even asked several of my friends/family who learned spanish first before English.. but they all seem to just tell me it's sort of something you just remember for each specific word. I was enrolled for spring semester until 2/21/23 when I decided to drop out. Before I dropped out, I went to the Financial Aid Department at CSUN, because I had already received a check from FAFSA for my semesters tuition, but my student account on the portal said I had 0 outstanding dues. I went to double check to see what I do with the FAFSA money, and they advised me to keep it and cash it and that I would just have to pay it back when the FAFSA payments start, which shows that its not until 2026 in my FAFSA account portal. I then had them make sure I didn't owe anything and they confirmed my outstanding dues were 0. I recently received a letter from CSUN saying I owe the school $4800+ dollars. I went to Cash Services, and a man told me that since I dropped out after the drop-course deadline, that they charged me 1% of my tuition from the day I REGISTERED way back in the beginning of December. I have never heard of this policy and am worried that i'm going to have to pay an extra $1400 for going to school for like a month.

My ex girl friend went out with some new coworkers and she went and got drunk when we specifically set boundaries to not drink because we don’t do it and she wouldn’t drink much at all. Anyways she went and got black out drunk and had sex with another man but doesn’t remember what happened or who did it. 29F, 5’2”, 150 lbs, diagnosed with IBS-D after ruling out Crohn’s with colonoscopy/endoscopy, high cholesterol (it’s apparently okay because it’s good cholesterol), and tachycardia. Currently taking birth control, fluoxetine, bupropion, Zyrtec, and spironolactone for acne. The spiro is relatively new, like two months or so.
I have fainted multiple times before in my life, so I know what it feels like for me: cold sweat, feeling cold in general, sudden nausea like I’m right about to throw up, and lightheadedness, followed by passing out without other warning (I might even insist I’m fine, I just feel sick) and having a cottony noise in my ears once I come to. It’s always with some kind of stimulus, like getting blood drawn or having numbing eye drops.
Recently I went to the bathroom at work, was totally fine, then walked back to my desk and had all of the symptoms of fainting even though I was literally just in my office chair, though I stopped short of passing out completely. I actually went to the ER because fainting or feeling faint for no reason isn’t normal for me - they said they didn’t detect any heart issues and I’m just prone to vasovagal syncope.
Then today I went to the bathroom during an IBS attack and had all the same symptoms: cold, cold sweat, sudden nausea, lightheadedness. I’ve had that happen before at least one other time, but I thought maybe it was getting sick from eating too fast or something. I wouldn’t have thought about it except I just had this ER experience, and I know that the vagus nerve can be stimulated via the asshole, so I might be incorrectly connecting dots.
Things to note:

• This doesn’t happen even remotely every time I go to the bathroom, only these couple of times I’ve noticed.
  
• I’m having diarrhea or just a large volume of normal stool (both common IBS symptoms for me), not constipation. I do occasionally get constipated but haven't recently.
  
• I’m not straining - I don’t really need to - and I actually have a footstool in the bathroom to help with squatting for proper bathroom posture. I’ll sometimes balance my feet on a trash can for the same reason if I’m in a public restroom and the trash can is the right size and within reach (like at work).
  
• I find it unlikely to be low blood sugar since my IBS attacks usually happen immediately after eating, like with 20 minutes.
  

So, my questions:

1. Am I actually connecting dots correctly or is there another explanation?
