Ayun, na-lay off ako ng 1 week (with pay) para daw makapagisip-isip ako if san daw bako.
🄹 I'm thinking of Canva website.. pag ba pinasa ko yung link ng canva website upon applying mati-trace ba nun if halimbawa name ko nasa content?
Also, pahingi naman po ng advice if I should be transparent to the 2nd client if ever (I'm thinking of part time) na may full time job ako? I know naman na kaya ko pagsabayin kasi nagagamay ko naman na yung work routine ko and doing great so far sa 2 years ko sa company. Worries lang ako na mag-background check yung 2nd client if I put my work experience sa updated resume ko. Should I or should I not include my current job sa worm experience? Pahingi naman po ng insights.
Thank you! - Y

2023.06.10 10:31 Separate_Throw New high school grad looking for some career advice

Hi everyone, I'm 18 and just graduated high school. My mom wants me to go to college but I don't think a 3-4 year degree will do me any good, especially since I have no idea what field to enter. Then have to start my career in major debt? No thanks.
What I do know is that I am very outgoing and love meeting new people and getting to know them.
My uncle suggested that I get an entry level sales job to learn more about the industry and get experience.
Given that I feel most natural when I'm out and meeting others, I agree with him and feel like this is actually a direction that will help my future.
I'm curious to know how you got started in sales? Any advice is appreciated too. Thank you so much.

2023.06.10 10:25 kimmisy Advice for my career path.

I saw someone else do this and it seemed very helpful. I’m a student in a 3D school, currently finishing my second year. The program is 5 years and at the end you get a masters. The course is starting to get more specific depending on what exactly you want to study. I love looking at little details, and feeling or giving the feeling of a strong emotion in video game environments. I love playing games like little nightmares and keep thinking Ā« omg that’s so smart! Ā». I want to create an experience, something beautiful that conveys an emotion. I love creating 3D environments and doing the level building/world building(I think that’s what it’s called, when you take the assets and organize them in the scene).
I’m leaning towards being an environment artist. What are your views and advice on that? Is it a good job? Any extra steps I should take to be extra good? (:

Unlocking Insights: Leveraging Data Automation for Efficient Data Conversion in Insurance
Insurance companies realize benefits from integrating digital transformation into every aspect of their corporate environment. But the complexity of current legacy information technology systems frequently presents a barrier to digital transformation initiatives. It can be quite difficult to integrate data from many systems and organizational departments. Numerous integration problems, including the issue of data conversion, can be caused by slow and complex legacy systems. You can also look for data conversion services at an affordable price for your insurance company.
It's important to comprehend how data is stored in both the new and old formats before converting any data. It comprises changing data from outdated forms to current, approved industry standards, allowing for improving accessibility and use of data throughout the company. Data is vital, and insurance providers regularly gather enormous volumes of data.

https://preview.redd.it/qwv1fab8f55b1.jpg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3381e2572fe6540a7d441d2a64fd856f19958bd6

What More in Data Conversion Services?

Integration challenges can arise throughout the data translation procedure. Converting data from XLS, the commonplace old spreadsheet format, to ACORD AL3, which has become the industry standard, becomes an integration challenge that many insurance-related organizations encounter. Automating this process as part of greater data automation efforts can be quite useful. It is best to outsource data conversion services from Tech2Globe at reasonable costs.

Changing From Outdated Data Types

The most common and default Excel format up to 2007 was spreadsheets with the XLS extension from Microsoft. It was included in a wide range of complex proprietary models created by the actuarial, underwriting, and financial departments. In addition, Excel spreadsheet templates for complaints and bids were created by adjusters and underwriters, who still make use of them. However, the utilization of XLS has accrued technical debt, just as other outdated IT systems. It was a common practice in the past, but it is currently hindering and challenging the insurance industry. The AL3 format established by ACORD for the insurance business is the more recent and widely acknowledged industry standard for companies to share data. AL3 is a communication protocol used to transmit commission and policy information in the property and casualty insurance industry.

Manual Data Conversion Issue

When transforming their reports manually from XLs format to AL3, insurance companies spend a significant amount of staff time, money, and labor hours to do it successfully. They cannot afford to shift crucial time and money away from important business operations, which would result in long delays, decreased operational effectiveness, and delays in the billing process, all of which would negatively influence customer satisfaction. Because manual process conversion is labor-intensive, insurance providers frequently need to hire more people just for this job. Manual data conversion also increases the possibility of human error and absence, which can lead to costly invoice and payment errors and losses for both the client and the company. Outsource data conversion company at the right time to avoid such issues.
Need For Automated Data Conversion During Data Integration
When different data from several systems are combined within insurance firms, it makes it possible to improve a number of operational aspects of the company through better data visibility, correct data entry, and effective reporting. Modern integration software must automate best data conversion services in order to fully address the issues posed by data locked into dated and costly forms.
Numerous commercial advantages could arise right away from automating data conversion. By concentrating their time and resources on essential value-added tasks, businesses can boost their efficiency. Automation of data can quicken the document processing services, enhancing performance and enabling insurance companies to provide services more quickly than before. Insurance companies are aware that timely claim resolution is critical to maintaining client satisfaction.
Conclusion
Data is the foundation of all organizational aspects in the insurance industry. Data integration and robotics have emerged as the next crucial step in bringing the old insurance industry into the new digital age and providing technological advantages to their staff, suppliers, and, most crucially, their clients. Tech2Globe is the best company known for specialized data conversion services, and you can opt for your insurance company.

2023.06.10 10:10 Jok3rgirl1 Crap day at work

Sorry guys for this being long, there's perhaps some misspellings and errors... Since I haven't proofread yet). 38/f/va
It was one of those days, I sat in my car for an hour after work, crying and contemplating life.
I cried at work, almost in a panic, I excused myself to the restroom just to contain myself. Like the scene from 'Midsommar', where Dany grieves over her family in the airplane bathroom. That's how it was.
When I finally went into my house, I came back outside to smoke a cig and cry some more. Then, my boyfriend asks me how my day went, I told him how sh#tty it was, then I cried some more.
I don't know, man. I guess saying 'I'm depressed', is an understatement. Sometimes I feel like I'm losing my mind, like I'm literally going crazy. There's something wrong with me mentally. I wanna seek help, but don't know how to go about getting it. I feel like weight is put on my shoulders and I don't know if I can safely say, everything's going to be alright. Because I don't know. That's what's so hard. It's the not knowing part.
I keep thinking of solutions. I keep thinking of making changes. It's just hard because I've put blood, sweat and tears into my job and now with the people that's there now, treat me like I am dirt. I miss the old days. I miss my old bosses and coworkers. Things have changed a lot drastically over past few years. I just wish people could respect me on a little bit higher level than what I'm getting. I always feel like I'm being watched like a hawk, always feeling like nobody wants me there; like my worth isn't good enough. I'm tired of being cut with my hours. Not being able to make the money I once did is so fking hard on me mentally. I was doing good. I was making money. I was needed. Now, I'm constantly fked over. Everyone else is sailing along just fine. But I'm not. I feel like I'm drowning.
It's too much to go into detail. I just wanted to express my feelings on here. All day today, the depression got so bad, I started thinking about suicide again and actually trying to figure out ways that would make it easier. I was doing fine until people had to run their mouths. That right there, makes me just want to end it all. I'm scared of killing myself. I wish it were easy. Actually, I wish life were easier..so I wouldn't have to think these thoughts. I know everybody feels hopeless and lost as much as I do, and it makes me feel somewhat better that I'm not alone. I thank each and every one of you for your stories; I do try to read as much as I can. It gives me relief because I feel like there's gotta be somebody else out there that's going through what I'm going through just as much, if not, worse. I do honestly wish I could trade places with somebody and look at things differently. I don't know.
I thank God for my boyfriend. He's a helpful ear and great advice giver. I don't know what I would do without him. I hate feeling like I'm not doing enough for us, or causing him to worry about our financial aspects. This is all job related/financial related. He's days he understands, but I do feel like I'm disappointing him.
Please people, whatever you do, don't go 'round making others feel like sh#t. It's not cute nor funny. You never know what someone's got going on unless you talk to them or just show a little kindness. That's all it takes. When did we become a world that's so cruel, cold and callous?? It's getting worse day by day. They say to reach out for help if you need it...if you're thinking of committing suicide, or talk someone out of it if they're talking suicide. But then, why do we go as far as to hurt others intentionally for our own personal gain?? Why do we treat people like crap and then think we can save them from themselves? It really is true. People will only care or listen when someone's gone.

2023.06.10 10:06 Tripwire357 Typical Entry Level (MS Biotech) salary in Germany (industry)?

Hey all, it's my first time posting in this sub, so please excuse me if it's the wrong place to post :)
I'm soon going to complete my Master's in Biotechnology, and have several offers at institutes (such as Hemlhotlz). The pay at these institute is according to a fixed scale (~2.2 to 2.4k, net) for my qualifications, so it is easy to compare salaries in such a situation.
However, I've found it quite challenging to find information on how much a Master's fresher would get paid at a biotech industry. Can anyone working in Germany offer some insight? Thanks!

2023.06.10 10:05 sondageISF Seeking Advice: Job Search Struggles and Lack of Response from Potential Employer

Hello,
I've been actively searching for a job as en entry level in Paris since February, and I've faced some challenges along the way. I've managed to secure a few interviews, but only two companies showed interest in scheduling a second interview. Among my first round interviews, there was one particular job I was extremely interested in. I applied for this position on March 28th and finally received an interview proposal in May after sending a follow-up email. However, since the interview, I haven't received any further communication from them.
I'm starting to wonder if my potential manager is disorganized or if there's something else going on. The position was really appealing, and the interview itself went well. Despite my efforts to reach out to them via email to inquire about their decision, I have not received any response at all. This lack of communication is making me uncertain about where I stand in their selection process.
At this point, I'm contemplating whether I should accept other offers that have come my way or continue waiting for a response from this company. I would greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions from fellow Redditors who may have faced similar situations. Is it time to move on and consider the opportunity lost, or are there any other steps I can take to gain clarity?
Thank you all in advance for your insights and support.

2023.06.10 10:05 orbinuuuu What do you think my chances are of getting into X college?

Hey, I’m going to share my ā€œresumeā€ with y’all. Could anyone please be brutally honest and tell me what colleges (of the ones I show) you think I might be accepted, waitlisted, or rejected from. I’m EXTREMELY nervous! Thank you!
Colleges: (for reference I want to major in economics) -Texas A&M -UT Austin -UT Dallas -UCLA -USC -Emory -University of Michigan -Brown -Cornell -UNC Chapel Hill
Background: -Slightly below average household income family, white, mother is an immigrant. -Non-native English speaker (first language was Serbian). -I am fully fluent in Serbian and English and can speak at a conversational level (probably B1-2) in Mandarin, Spanish, and Arabic. Academics/Awards: -GPA: 4.45 Weighted (Out of 5) but not top 6% for UT because I’m at an extremely competitive public school -SAT: 1560 -AP Classes as of Junior year: 10, but taking 6 more senior year -National Merit Finalist -Academic All American (AAA) from the National Speech and Debate Association (750+ NSDA points) -#2 Speaker at UIL state in debate in the most competitive event (out of like 250+ competitors at state and hundreds more in districts and hundreds more that didn’t even go to districts) -Winner of 8+ Debate tournaments -4 Bids to the Tournament of Champions (on average even prestigious teams get maybe one throughout their entire career)
Extracurriculars: -Member of Speech and Debate team (3 years and going onwards) -Debate captain (2 years and going onwards) -100+ volunteering hours at local food shelter -Job at local restaurant (1.5 years) -Job at tutoring facility (1.5 years) -Co-owner of finance club -Owner of entrepreneurship club -Owner of language/world cultures club -Member of Mock Trial (3 years) -Member of Cross Country/Track team (1 year) -Owner of DECA club (first one ever at my school) I placed decently for it being my first year. -Member of National Honor Society -Participated in a prestigious collegiate debate camp that was ~3 weeks. I got 2nd place. -Created a debate camp that taught around 30 different students for 2 weeks. -Taught and created curriculum for a debate tutoring service that had around 50 students for ~6 months. -Created an online affiliate marketing business (as a freshman), generated $1000 in 2 months, and built a computer with that money. I then taught a rough estimate of around 10 other people to do the same, with probably around an accumulation of $4,000 spread evenly amongst them. -Have 3 social media accounts with around 50,000 followers each, each teaching biology (health), sat tips, and economics/entrepreneurship respectively -Created a power washing business that generated ~$5,000. Helped power wash and clean local businesses as well -Created an online website creation business. Created a website for over 25 companies, and generated ~$1,000. -Created a non-profit that sends money to mental health institutions (using portions of money from different businesses of mine.)
Passion Project: -As an aspiring economics major that wants to go to law school, I did research (that was published) on the effects of environmental laws on different companies. I interviewed around 5 different heads of companies, and reported it to local news reporters and politicians in my area. 2023.06.10 10:01 Strong-Protection-35 How to keep things casual when I want more out of the relationship? 24F, 36M

I’m 24F and the guy I’ve been seeing is 36M. I’ve been seeing him off and on since I was 19, we ā€˜dated seriously’ (seemed serious at the time? Maybe it wasn’t) for 3 years straight but currently aren’t labeled as bf/gf. I don’t want to call him a f* buddy either. He’s like an old friend that knows a lot about me and we have sex sometimes is basically the vibe now.
I like seeing him bc I find him attractive and he can be funny when it’s not a remark directed towards me. He turns me on unlike anyone else I’ve been with, I really like having sex with him. But he also makes me feel really insecure about my place in his life and sometimes even about myself as a person. Maybe I’m just young and that feeling will go away eventually. He follows Instagram models and girls he’s met traveling which both bother me… but he’s ā€˜not my bf’ so I don’t get a space to be bothered by that anymore. It’s all supposed to be ā€˜causal and light’.
We used to hang out every day pretty much but now I see him once a week on average. I’m not sure if he sees other girls but it wouldn’t be much of a stretch since all of his friends see multiple girls. I feel like all guys have multiple girls they fuck and see. Honestly, after I thought more about it, I could see myself having at least 2 different guys to see/date regularly with each fulfilling different needs for me (sexual, emotional, friendship, deep intimacy, fun/entertainment, travel companion). I feel like I’ll never find one guy who can meet all of my needs/wants in a relationship but several different guys together could each fulfill missing spots for me. That way I’d be overall happier with each guy individually since he’s only having to meet one need of mine instead of several simultaneously (less chance to be disappointed).
I’m at a weird spot romantic relationship wise. I want a life partner and to get married eventually. I want someone that loves me and thinks I’m very beautiful/sexy and they wouldn’t think about seeing other people bc I’m their life partner as much as they’re mine. I wanted the guy I’m seeing to be this person for me but honestly the older I get I don’t think it’ll be like that at all. He’s expressed he does not want to get married (at least not to me).
I don’t want to stop seeing him, I did go 6 months recently without seeing him and no contact and I hated it. I only date him currently, so I don’t have other guys to run to when he wants to ignore me and go do whatever he does.
How can I make my brain see the situation as casual and understand he will never take me seriously any further than a hookup or gf? I want to be indifferent about him talking to other girls and not care at all, but don’t think I can get there without having another guy I can go see myself. If the playing field was leveled I think it would rid me of a lot of jealousy feeling like other girls get to have what I feel like should be mine and only for me (sex with him and his time/attention especially when it’s intimate like having drinks on a rooftop). If another man was giving me his time and attention then I wouldn’t give af what the current guy I’m seeing is doing. It would be even and I wouldn’t feel so shitty - see you when I see you and we can have fun with our other people until then.
I get jealous over him super easily and want it to stop. I want to be casual and just see him when I see him and not think much about him or the situation otherwise. He doesn’t take me seriously and doesn’t want a deeply emotionally connected relationship with me. It’s all very surface level and I’m just not there.
Has anyone else felt this way? Guess this was mostly just a journal entry - I wanted to type out how I feel.

2023.06.10 10:00 enchantingisland Nervous about giving presentation a work for the first time. Any tips?

I work as an staff accountant (entry level) in a big company as of two months now. I've learned a lot during this time but I admit that I'm still feeling a bit lost about certain things without any guidance. I found out that I have to give a presentation to upper management in less than two weeks about any of my functions and I'm nervous. This is the first time I've had to do anything of the sort and I'm really bad a public speaking, especially in something I'm not fully comfortablr at since it's still such a new enviroment. I am not fully clueless, bit I'm afraid of being caught offguard with questions I don't know how to answer.
I started building the presentation and will practice a lot, but the fear and anxiety of doing something like this for the first time is eating away at me and I don't want to bomb it/make a fool out of myself.
Any tips/suggestions?

  • You have multiple interests but don’t how to attract people to your work (for work to be valuable, it needs people that deem it valuable.)
  • You already have a one-person business but aren’t confident in the quality of your social media posts, newsletters, or content as a whole.
  • You are already writing online but don’t have a systemized way of creating content that stands out (without templates or copying others).

2023.06.10 09:58 OkNeedleworker6378 Can I still sponsor my fiance (for fiance visa) if I made enough income on my tax returns from last year even though I am currently unemployed due to being a student?

I am estimating that our fiance visa interview, if the government approves our I-129f visa, will be scheduled sometime later this year. I am currently a student and am unable to get a job that will make 125% the poverty level this year. However, last year I was still working and made enough money to show on my tax returns. Will I still be able to sponsor my fiance?

2023.06.10 09:57 Decent_Activity_7091 Will I be able to get a visa to work in the UK?

Hi. I am European and plan on doing a 3 month course in february in London. As far as Im aware I dont need a visa for that. However, I would like to move before my course starts, in November. Would I be able to move near London and work at a pub/store or some entry level job for 3-4 months before my course starts? Or is that hopeless?
Thanks

2023.06.10 09:48 rat_idiot_actif Cannot live like this - Job calling me every day during the night

It has been two months now. Every. single. night, they call me. "We have detected a critical vulnerability on your app. please advise immediately". We keep patching stuff, they keep happening. I used to help at the beginning (even if it's just assigning tasks and ensuring communication), but now I don't answer the phone anymore and they are shaming me and blaming me for it.
Should I quit?
For context: I am a business owner of a cloud app, with really good work conditions. I've been in my role for 2 years and happy about it, even during spikes of work. Recently the company I am working for started to harass me every night with compliance breaches. The issue isn't that we have to fix some vulnerabilities, but it's always out of business hours since they are coming from a different timezone team.
I can't blame my current provider for those vulnerabilities because it was another provider who developed it. And I am sick to have to ask those poor guys who also have lifes, to work every single night and weekend.
I have tried to:
- Ask the compliance dptm to work with a "same-timezone-team" in the communication and resolution of those issues;
- Create a guidelines of communication that directs them to our first-level of support line;
- Invest my budget (that was needed to deliver our commitments) into anticipation scans/tests in order to identify vulnerabilities before they are raised by this department.
...but unfortunately those were either refused or simply not enough to make any difference in our situation.

I have a call with my hierarchy Monday to discuss this whole problematic. How should I address the issue in your opinion?
Ideally I'd like to keep the job since it's such an unicorn, but I want to make clear I won't answer the phone outside business hours every single day.
I am really lost at this point.
