The good news is that in the post-pandemic world, this is no longer an issue. The goal of this series of posts (Online Temple w/ Livestream) is to showcase Buddhist centers that have an online virtual presence. These are not online-only temples. These are actual Buddhist temples with a local presence that just happened to have an online/livestream service via Zoom software or Youtube. Anyone anywhere in the world can 'attend'. Seattle Koyasan Buddhist Temple is located in the Central District of Seattle, Washington. We are a temple in the Shingon-shu 真言宗 (Shingon Sect) of Japanese Buddhism. Shingon-shu traces its origins to the lineage founder, Kobo Daishi. Kobo Daishi (the Monk Kukai) brought esoteric Buddhism to Japan from China in the 9th century C.E. • VIP Benefits can only be transferred by the original purchaser naming the resale buyer as an "alternate" for pickup by emailing Ticketmaster at [email protected]. The original purchaser then needs to provide the resale buyer a photocopy of their ID, and original ticket order number. Once all of this is done the resale buyer will have to provide these things at the venue to obtain the VIP benefits. If they refuse to name an alternate, just give the person that your transferring the ticket to a photo of your ID and they should still be able to claim benefits.

Some tips:

• Check back on Ticketmaster; historically they add more tickets at a later time.
• Do not panic and stay vigilant when buying from resellers.
• Prices fluctuate according to demand and typically fall on the day of the concert.
• There are always fans who can't go or have extra tickets, and you'll have more chance getting one for a more reasonable price.

I realized I have high spending and I haven't been getting the best back from my BOA credit card. I'm looking at adding 3 more cards to my wallet for almost all my purchases. These are the Citi Custom Cash, Amex Platinum, and Amex Gold. Details are below for my reasoning. Wanting to get your opinions on my plan and if there is something that I missed that could be bad. I don't have much credit card experience but I am responsible with my money and always pay off my bill so I don't pay interest.

• Bank of America Customized Cash Rewards $5,500 Limit, Nov 2016
• FICO Score: 780
• Oldest account age: 7 years
• Chase 5/24 status: No Chase cards
• Income: $125,000
• Average monthly spend and categories:
• dining $1000
• groceries: $300
• gas: $500
• travel: $250 (I spend probably around 3k a year on travel and vacation. Most likely 2-3 trips at around $1k)
• other: $600
• Open to Business Cards: e.g. No
• What's the purpose of your next card?
• Building credit - I don't think it makes a huge difference but I would like to get to 800+ credit score. I've been hovering at high 700's for a long time.
• Cash back and travel points.
• Do you have any cards you've been looking at? Yes. I think this will be my 3 main spending credit cards.
• Citi Custom Cash
  • This will be my primary gas card. I spend roughly 500$ to get the most of the 5% cashback.
• Amex Platinum
  • There is currently a 150k point sign up bonus and I have some vacation plans in the next few months that I will be making travel purchases to meet the SUB and gain some points.
  • I will probably keep this for 1 year just to obtain the sign up bonus. Then most likely close this card and transfer the points to my Amex Gold.
• Amex Gold
  • This will be my primary spending card. 4x points on restaurants and supermarkets is perfect for my spending categories.
  • I order food pretty often so I'll be making use of the dining credit and uber credit to offset the AF.
• Are you OK with category spending or do you want a general spending card?: I am fine with category spending.

Questions:

• Is it a bad idea to sign up for the Platinum card just for the SUB then close it after a year? I don't think I'll make full use of the benefits and my spending doesn't make the Platinum worth it for long term but for the first year I was thinking it would be worth it with the SUB.
• I think this is the best card for me but any other recommendations for Chase, CapitalOne, or CITI? I liked the Amex point because they have Delta as a transfer partner. I'm in Seattle WA and will almost always fly domestic. Common vacation spots are hawaii, california, and vegas. I think Delta has a lot of available flights for my area.
• How has your experience been using the Amex RP? Are you getting 1+ CPP or more? Are there heavy restrictions on flights? I'm new to travel points and have no idea which point ecosystem is best.
