The Beast’s Plan Exposed
2023.06.08 08:12 Truth-or-Death1988 The Beast’s Plan Exposed
Do you believe the rapture is taught in the Bible? Then think about this scenario: Let’s say you are waiting on this ‘
biblical truth’ to carry you away from the worst point in human history. A point that is so truly horrifying that
the hearts of men will fail in fear.
Now just imagine: What if it doesn’t happen? Not only are you facing untold terror and suffering, but you also think your God has lied to you and abandoned you. This is only part of the
great deception, however. The God of the universe says this will be a doozy. Let that sink in.
So your hopes of escaping have been destroyed, but along comes a political hero who crushes our current oppressive governments in the name of righteousness and peace on earth. It gets better too, because this new political savior also wants to give you a
new technology that promises death is no more.
“You see those men dying? Well, you don’t have to! And we have all the money we looted from your oppressors. We want to give it to the people so they will never suffer again!” Sounds too good to be true, huh? What’s the catch? “Well, I want you to be marked by me, your savior. This mark won’t hurt you. After all, the Bible has already lied to you! That book was a fairy tale, don’t you see?”
The political hero is Vladimir Putin, and the money will come from the Saint Germain World Trust.

The Main Goal:
Well if you’re browsing this subreddit then much like me, you were alone this weekend and I’m sure you’d like to change that as much as me. I won’t lie, I am going through a rough part of my life right now. It’s difficult for me to find the energy for anything at the moment and I’m just really seeking affection in general, anything that will give me a push. I don’t want to be that person who brings everyone down but I could really use someone to talk to right now. I’d really like to find someone who’s similar to me so much to the point that we do everything together and talk about everything while not having to pretend to be interested. I want someone with whom we can mutually spew our emotions onto and have those feelings reciprocated. Not an emotional punching bag, but an emotional teddy bear to hug and cuddle until everything feels better as many times as we need. There’s people who I’m sure have told you the same, they’ll be there no matter how many times you need the support, no matter how many times the insecurities and bad thoughts come back but they don’t mean it. I will be the exception, I’m not so ignorant to think some nice words and tales of relating to you will magically forever heal whatever ails you then get mad when you seek the same support again. Mental ailments are rarely temporary and I don’t care about someone because they’re perfect, caring about someone means being there no matter how many times they need you to be. It doesn’t feel like a chore, it doesn’t get old, and it never will.

(2.a)
What I'm Seeking:
I will upfront let you know if I’m clicking better with someone else or if you’re the one, I’m not here to tread the sea of fish or keep my options open, I’m here for one singular person.
(2.b)
Relationship:
A relationship is difficult for me right now, it’s been nearly half a year since I got out of my last relationship and the reasons for it ending are partially responsible for how I’ve been feeling and why it’s so hard for me to seek the comfort I so desperately crave. I will tell you about it but for the sake of not treating the entirety of the internet as my therapist, it’ll be in private. I really need the comfort of intimacy and the warmth of someone who cares. I'm not going to feel better if I just sulk and don’t move on. This is my attempt to get better, I’ll admit I’m not great right now and I don’t expect you to be either. If we can help each other heal, then I’d be more than happy :) A relationship isn’t just being there for when someone’s at their best. Even if a relationship is hard at the moment, I do want a life partner and I don’t want to be alone. Things aren’t going to get easier without you so I don’t want to hesitate. I view my other as an equal, I don’t like categorizing us into specific roles. We take care of each other and treat each other how we like to be treated, whatever that is, it's as simple as that. I don't care if you're "successful" or not, living simple lives with our days filled with love is the ultimate measure of success to me.
(3)
Personality:
(3.a)
On the Surface:
As you can tell I can be rather… stoic but that’s largely due to my current stressors, I truthfully am goofy and fun loving but I just can’t find it in me right now. I want to return to that but without someone to light up my world it’s been difficult to just have fun and enjoy stuff. I’m definitely more introverted, you won’t catch me at any parties or really outside at all. I definitely prefer being home though the occasional outing is not out of the question and one day I’d like to travel to other countries because I think that kind of perspective is important.
(3.b)
The Core of My Being:
I like being a spectator to it all and if we bear witness to humanity burning or its miraculous recovery, I want to watch it with you. I enjoy watching humanity advance, less so when it devolves but I want to watch it to the end nonetheless. I’m both a realist and someone who lives with my head in the clouds dreaming of scenarios or worlds that don’t exist. I’m saying that I enjoy a good narrative and can suspend my disbelief to enjoy something but you won’t catch me refusing vaccines or ignoring blatant facts for the sake of some pseudo science or witch doctor’s remedy. I’m an atheist but I do not rule out existence after death, not because I’m agnostic but because due to the nature of potentially infinite time at some point after how many googol years with a googol amount of 0s after that, something’s bound to replicate your consciousness perfectly at some point. It’s actually a really fascinating topic I like talking about. If infinite time and infinite possibilities exist, does non existence exist? Though that’s an awfully existentially dreadful thought process considering the ramifications of infinite existence and infinite possibilities during said infinite existence. I would say I’m confidently left leaning and I don’t think I could truly get along with anyone right leaning, at least America’s definition of right leaning. Left and right seems to have just become; do people deserve to suffer or do they deserve to live good lives? Being political is not something I expected to become but how can you not be when crimes against human rights are being passed on a daily basis and at the end of the day, everything’s political. Oftentimes I imagine the perfect moment as relaxing with my significant other playing games or cuddling in a cold room under blankets.
I value that special someone above all of the existential thoughts, the bad of the world, the good of the world, they practically become my world. So many worries wash away when I’m with them. I don’t know if that’s the defense mechanism my brain created to not feel bad 24/7 but if it is, I’m currently without it.
(3.c)
Insecurities:
I talk of philosophy and politics here but really I spend most of my time just playing games, watching stuff, and trying to not be sleep deprived. I’m also nowhere near as well spoken, heck sometimes I feel like my speech is broken. I won’t claim to be something I’m not, I sit at home while I complain about the world doing nothing about it wishing I had someone here with me. I’m not noble nor do I really want to be, I have morals I uphold but much like most other hypocrites I acknowledge that my comfortable life is built on the suffering of others without doing anything about it. Why? My sleep problems? Am I depressed? Is that why I have no energy to do anything? Do I just think nothing I could do could help? I can’t nail it down myself, maybe it’s a mix of everything, maybe I’m just a bad person. I have always told myself that if I had wealth I would help people but if I get that kind of wealth will I just become a wealth hoarder who tries to justify my riches as something I earned rather than something given to me through incredibly lucky circumstances? If I do help people is it because I’m a good person or out of guilt? Will I die alone? I feel like I drive everyone away with my clinginess, I get paranoid often and need reassurance often. It’s something I want to work on, something I’ve been trying to work on. Hearing that someone cares about me just never gets old. I value self awareness even if it’s painful.
(3.d)
Socializing:
I’m definitely a socially anxious/awkward mess, especially around strangers. I do feel a large amount of anxiety in public, people can’t tell by looking at my face since I kind of go stone faced in an attempt to block everything out but yeah you’ll notice that if we go out in public. Growing up my pediatrician said I was probably autistic, never got a formal diagnosis so that’s just great. But yeah that explains why I can’t make eye contact with people, I kinda just stare at the ground and avoid their gaze at all costs. A lot of these social struggles go away to a great degree once I know you for a bit but yeah I apologize for how terrible I am at socializing at first. Don’t let my social struggles fool you though, I love cuddling and being close with my person.
(3.e)
Sexuality:
I am a heterosexual male, though I’m not very masculine like at all. I may even be a bit feminine sometimes. Not that I believe any activity or manner of acting belongs to a gender but I don’t know how else to describe it. I’m definitely super affectionate and love it when my partner is too. I am open to dating demi people but I do have a libido so I don't think asexual would work out.
(4)
Interests:
(4.a)
Video Games:
As stated before, I do spend a lot of my time playing video games. It’s been hard lately with me having no energy but I really do want to play more games and have a good time playing them with you! I primarily play on PC though I do have a switch. I’m primarily into platform fighters, roguelikes, open world, survival, and sandbox games. As for single player story games, I enjoy watching them through twitch or youtube but for the most part I don’t play them myself. I’d watch you play them though!
Here’s a list of games we can play:
-Minecraft (Java)
-Risk of Rain 2
-Gunfire Reborn
-Roboquest
-7 Days to Die
-Phasmophobia
-Rust
-Unturned
-Bloons TD 6
-Platform fighters: Super Smash Bros. Melee, Slap City, Multiversus, Flash Party, Fraymakers
Whatever you want to play I’ll give it a shot! I will say that League bores me to death but I’ll play it for you :) I try to avoid MMOs, not because I don’t like them but because of how addicted I can get to them. I enjoy learning games in-depth so MMOs can be a fast track to addiction.
I recently got Kerbal Space Program 2 and ehhh not really worth it right now but hopefully later it will be? I’m super excited for Tears of the Kingdom! In the far off future I’m excited for Rivals of Aether 2 which is a platform fighter releasing in 2024, let me know of your most anticipated releases and I’ll see if I could play them with you!
Also I never got into FPS games but I could totally see myself playing like CoD with you or Escape From Tarkov. Any FPS really, I’m down.
I am a fan of Pokemon but with how things have been lately I don’t know how long that will last. Pixelmon is a common Pokemon mod I play for Minecraft if you want to play that! Also if I say I want to play something with you I mean it but there are often times when no matter how much I want to I'm just drained and can do little more than lay in bed so please don't think I'm making an excuse.
(4.b)
Science:
I really enjoy keeping up with the latest advances in pretty much everything, it could be biology, technology, astronomy, anything! I love seeing progression and I love talking about it! Really I could go on and on about what I’m obsessing about that day. I particularly love technology, ask me for my laptop specs I dare you. When I was little I always wanted to be a scientist of any kind but then insomnia and fear of college stuff hit me like a truck aaaand that’s the end of that dream.
(4.c)
Anime:
You got me, I like anime but I’d like to think my tastes are benign.
Here’s some of my favorites I can list from the top of my head:
- To Your Eternity
- Vinland Saga
- Spice and Wolf
- Re:Zero
- Mob Psycho
- Dr. Stone
- Attack on Titan
- Spy x Family
- My Hero Academia
- Ranking of Kings
- Demon Slayer
Okay I can go on and on but I will say I don’t like pointless fan service and the spamming of cliche anime moments. I mostly enjoy action and anything well animated if it doesn’t have a potato story. Heck Demon Slayer could be my top 3 out of season 2’s animation alone. I don’t watch slice of life often or romance but I would with you!
(4.d)
Misc:
I’m not going to go on and on about the tiniest little things when the main ones are covered but I’ll watch pretty much any show with you and anything really. I like random youtube videos that explain some kind of lore or mystery, sometimes mini documentaries too.
As for food I looove sushi and I’m a sucker for fast food. Okay and candy, definitely candy.
I used to play tennis but haven’t really had the opportunity nor friends to play it with and I’m way too socially anxious to seek it out. Also I will say that when we move to something like discord I type waaaay more casually. I’m not going to expect long paragraphs back and forth like we’re writing English papers for each other, I do enjoy long conversations but seriously don’t worry about having to put the utmost effort into every response, I just like making good first impressions I guess.

(5.a)
My Physical Characteristics:
I’m 5’8 (172cm), 128 pounds (58kg), with curly brown hair and blue eyes. I like keeping my hair long in the winter and cutting it in the summer. I’m pretty slim in general so if you’re looking for someone large, that’s not me. I don’t work out but my work is pretty physical so at least I’m not totally inactive. I don’t have the urge to work out or gain muscle but I do want to maintain my slim figure so if I start losing control of that I’ll work out. I like to keep my face shaved because I don’t think I look good with a beard/mustache so if you’re into those I apologize. I have an average amount of body hair? I’d prefer to be completely shaved but it’s easy to lose motivation with that battle, if you prefer shaved then I’d have no problem complying. Anyways here’s what I look like:
https://imgur.com/a/MZZgf2t (5.b)
My Physical Preferences:
Having physical preferences makes me feel shallow, if I could make myself not have them I would but unfortunately that’s now how that works. I don’t care if you’re shorter or taller than me and I don’t care if you weigh more or less than me. All I ask is that you’re slim-average weight. I would never ask for someone to be something I’m not. I don’t care about tattoos or piercings.
(6)
Expectations of You:
I am not looking for someone “exciting” or someone to “keep me on my toes” I’m not looking for someone to cater to my every whim or anything like that. I don’t care if you’re “boring” or if you aren’t “successful”. I know it’s a common thing for people to not want a “boring” relationship and to seek something argumentative or something with constant challenges but I just want to be with you. During the exciting times, the boring times, and everything in-between, all of it will be great with you! Maybe we do argue sometimes or maybe there will be challenges but that will never be something I purposefully seek out and I don’t want that to be something you seek out either. I will not play tricks on you and I will not play mind games, I expect the same from you. We all have personal measures of success we may or may not have lived up to but what I care about most is our commitment to each other. If we have each other we can get through tough times, near the ends of our lives I want us to look back and feel that this life together was worth more than anything. That’s not saying I want us to be haphazard, I don’t want us to make poor decisions for the sake of yolo and I want us to always be rational, especially with each other. I want you to be someone I can trust to make decisions and weigh the options with a level head, I’ll try my best to live up to the same for you. Most of all I want empathy, understanding, someone to feel the utmost comfort and trust in.
(7)
Living Situation:
Currently my life is pretty relaxed, I work 3 times a week as a night shift stocker. I currently live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my roommate but we’re looking to move into someplace larger by the end of the year if everything works out. The internet is weirdly great for Ohio too like I have fiber and later this year we’re supposed to be getting dedicated fiber so that’s neat. I’m not attached to Ohio so the ultimate goal living location wise is probably moving to a country that won’t send you into a lifetime of dealing with the repercussions from one medical emergency.
(8)
Deal Breakers:
Might as well make this simple and make it a list.
- Anti-vaxxers
- Unironically believing astrology
- Right wingers
- Hard drugs (occasional 420 and alcohol is fine, may even join you)
- Wanting children, there was a time when I was younger when I wanted children but with the state of the word that’s a definite no and I feel like I wouldn’t be able to handle the stress. I’d love a stress free life with as much time with you as possible.
- Homophobic
- Transphobic
- Racist
- Super Religious
- Don’t be a bigot and don’t deny facts.
(9)
Closing Remarks:
Well you made it, I was thinking that finding someone I’d be willing to put a lifetime of effort into at least required this much effort. If I think of anything more I’ll update the post. Also about timezones, it really doesn’t matter where in the world you are. I don’t have a sleep schedule and I have most of the week off from work so it really doesn’t matter.
I request that in your response you do put effort into it, it doesn’t have to be anywhere near as long as this but at least enough so I know that you read this and enough about you so I know why you saw potential compatibility. I will seriously read all of it and respond the best I can. I do also request a pic included in your response (sfw please) or one soon after we start talking to prove identity, I’ll send identity proving pics too. As long as this post is up, you can send a reply!

2023.06.08 07:44 Truth-or-Death1988 Rapture Deception Disproven (Biblically)
“’I tell you, in that night there will be two in bed. One will be taken and the other left. There will be two women grinding together. One will be taken and the other left. Two men will be in the field;
one will be taken and the other left.’ And they said to him, ‘Where, Lord?’ He said to them, ‘Where the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.’” – Jesus Christ, recorded in Luke 17:34-37
Jesus taught that those taken away aren’t raptured to glory; they are delivered over to the death that awaits them. He was talking about those who do not belong to Him being judged
by Him.
“
Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” – Jesus Christ, recorded in Matthew 24:9-13
Jesus taught us time and time again that the end-times saints would be put to death, not carried away from trials and tribulations. We must endure these trials and tribulations, and continue to serve Him
through them.
And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them.
Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. – Revelation 20:4-6
How could we be beheaded if we have been raptured away to heaven? It just doesn’t make any sense. So what about a
post-tribulation rapture? Well, let’s look at the fifth seal.
Fifth Seal: The Cry of the Martyrs When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer,
until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed. – Revelation 6:9-11
Think about what this is teaching us, the saints who are killed before the fifth seal are told that they must wait for the
rest of the saints to be killed. And we are told that work will be
completed. This leaves no room for a post-tribulation rapture*.*
The second passage often used to support rapture theology is 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. Paul writes, “But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive
and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive
and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.”
First: Paul is writing to the church in Thessalonica to comfort them. Some of their loved ones had died (he calls it “fallen asleep”) and he wants them to have hope. He wants to anchor them to the hope of Christ’s return and the resurrection of the dead.
Second**:** It’s very important to remember that Paul had no knowledge of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, as that wisdom was not imparted for another
forty years. And even then, the vision was given to John, not Paul**.**
Third: We must remember that not even Jesus Christ Himself knew the day or the hour of his return. That is the key to understanding why Paul said, “
We who are alive and remain.” For all Paul knew, Jesus was coming coming in a month’s time!
Are you wondering about what Jesus meant by escaping the things to come? That is not the entirety of His sentence. We must take the full sentence in to understand what He was saying.
“Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass,
and to stand before the Son of Man.” – Jesus Christ, recorded in Luke 21:36
If we are deceived into worshipping the beast,
then we will not be able to stand before the Son of Man. If we are tempted into worshipping the beast,
then we will not be able to stand before the Son of Man. Therefore, pray that you are not deceived or led into temptation, but that you are delivered from evil**,**
and then you will be able to stand before the Son of Man**.**
Scripture makes it clear, we won’t escape physical death in this world. We can escape the great deception, and escape from worshipping the beast. Then we will be able to stand before the Son of Man. But make no mistake about it, that escape comes in the form of our earthly deaths.
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony,
and they did not love their lives to the death. – Revelation 12:11
“He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.” – Jesus Christ, recorded in John 12:25
Who started rapture ideology, and what kind of men were they?
John Darby and C. I. Scofield had ties to the occult and no formal training. Does formal training mean men are true anyway? Certainly not, (religious leaders vs John the Baptist, and Jesus) but these men
wrote their own versions of the Bible, and even started a seminary here in America!
Dispensationalism: Occult Roots The Beast’s Plan Exposed

COINTELPRO Techniques for dilution, misdirection and control of a internet forum - Reposting

_______________________________________________________________________
COINTELPRO Techniques for dilution, misdirection and control of a internet forum..
There are several techniques for the control and manipulation of a internet forum no matter what, or who is on it. We will go over each technique and demonstrate that only a minimal number of operatives can be used to eventually and effectively gain a control of a 'uncontrolled forum.'
Technique #1 - 'FORUM SLIDING' If a very sensitive posting of a critical nature has been posted on a forum - it can be quickly removed from public view by 'forum sliding.' In this technique a number of unrelated posts are quietly prepositioned on the forum and allowed to 'age.' Each of these misdirectional forum postings can then be called upon at will to trigger a 'forum slide.' The second requirement is that several fake accounts exist, which can be called upon, to ensure that this technique is not exposed to the public. To trigger a 'forum slide' and 'flush' the critical post out of public view it is simply a matter of logging into each account both real and fake and then 'replying' to prepositined postings with a simple 1 or 2 line comment. This brings the unrelated postings to the top of the forum list, and the critical posting 'slides' down the front page, and quickly out of public view. Although it is difficult or impossible to censor the posting it is now lost in a sea of unrelated and unuseful postings. By this means it becomes effective to keep the readers of the forum reading unrelated and non-issue items.
Technique #2 - 'CONSENSUS CRACKING' A second highly effective technique (which you can see in operation all the time at
www.abovetopsecret.com) is 'consensus cracking.' To develop a consensus crack, the following technique is used. Under the guise of a fake account a posting is made which looks legitimate and is towards the truth is made - but the critical point is that it has a VERY WEAK PREMISE without substantive proof to back the posting. Once this is done then under alternative fake accounts a very strong position in your favour is slowly introduced over the life of the posting. It is IMPERATIVE that both sides are initially presented, so the uninformed reader cannot determine which side is the truth. As postings and replies are made the stronger 'evidence' or disinformation in your favour is slowly 'seeded in.' Thus the uninformed reader will most like develop the same position as you, and if their position is against you their opposition to your posting will be most likely dropped. However in some cases where the forum members are highly educated and can counter your disinformation with real facts and linked postings, you can then 'abort' the consensus cracking by initiating a 'forum slide.'
Technique #3 - 'TOPIC DILUTION' Topic dilution is not only effective in forum sliding it is also very useful in keeping the forum readers on unrelated and non-productive issues. This is a critical and useful technique to cause a 'RESOURCE BURN.' By implementing continual and non-related postings that distract and disrupt (trolling ) the forum readers they are more effectively stopped from anything of any real productivity. If the intensity of gradual dilution is intense enough, the readers will effectively stop researching and simply slip into a 'gossip mode.' In this state they can be more easily misdirected away from facts towards uninformed conjecture and opinion. The less informed they are the more effective and easy it becomes to control the entire group in the direction that you would desire the group to go in. It must be stressed that a proper assessment of the psychological capabilities and levels of education is first determined of the group to determine at what level to 'drive in the wedge.' By being too far off topic too quickly it may trigger censorship by a forum moderator.
Technique #4 - 'INFORMATION COLLECTION' Information collection is also a very effective method to determine the psychological level of the forum members, and to gather intelligence that can be used against them. In this technique in a light and positive environment a 'show you mine so me yours' posting is initiated. From the number of replies and the answers that are provided much statistical information can be gathered. An example is to post your 'favourite weapon' and then encourage other members of the forum to showcase what they have. In this matter it can be determined by reverse proration what percentage of the forum community owns a firearm, and or a illegal weapon. This same method can be used by posing as one of the form members and posting your favourite 'technique of operation.' From the replies various methods that the group utilizes can be studied and effective methods developed to stop them from their activities.
Technique #5 - 'ANGER TROLLING' Statistically, there is always a percentage of the forum posters who are more inclined to violence. In order to determine who these individuals are, it is a requirement to present a image to the forum to deliberately incite a strong psychological reaction. From this the most violent in the group can be effectively singled out for reverse IP location and possibly local enforcement tracking. To accomplish this only requires posting a link to a video depicting a local police officer massively abusing his power against a very innocent individual. Statistically of the million or so police officers in America there is always one or two being caught abusing there powers and the taping of the activity can be then used for intelligence gathering purposes - without the requirement to 'stage' a fake abuse video. This method is extremely effective, and the more so the more abusive the video can be made to look. Sometimes it is useful to 'lead' the forum by replying to your own posting with your own statement of violent intent, and that you 'do not care what the authorities think!!' inflammation. By doing this and showing no fear it may be more effective in getting the more silent and self-disciplined violent intent members of the forum to slip and post their real intentions. This can be used later in a court of law during prosecution.
Technique #6 - 'GAINING FULL CONTROL' It is important to also be harvesting and continually maneuvering for a forum moderator position. Once this position is obtained, the forum can then be effectively and quietly controlled by deleting unfavourable postings - and one can eventually steer the forum into complete failure and lack of interest by the general public. This is the 'ultimate victory' as the forum is no longer participated with by the general public and no longer useful in maintaining their freedoms. Depending on the level of control you can obtain, you can deliberately steer a forum into defeat by censoring postings, deleting memberships, flooding, and or accidentally taking the forum offline. By this method the forum can be quickly killed. However it is not always in the interest to kill a forum as it can be converted into a 'honey pot' gathering center to collect and misdirect newcomers and from this point be completely used for your control for your agenda purposes.
CONCLUSION Remember these techniques are only effective if the forum participants DO NOT KNOW ABOUT THEM. Once they are aware of these techniques the operation can completely fail, and the forum can become uncontrolled. At this point other avenues must be considered such as initiating a false legal precidence to simply have the forum shut down and taken offline. This is not desirable as it then leaves the enforcement agencies unable to track the percentage of those in the population who always resist attempts for control against them. Many other techniques can be utilized and developed by the individual and as you develop further techniques of infiltration and control it is imperative to share then with HQ.

Twenty-Five Rules of Disinformation
Note: The first rule and last five (or six, depending on situation) rules are generally not directly within the ability of the traditional disinfo artist to apply. These rules are generally used more directly by those at the leadership, key players, or planning level of the criminal conspiracy or conspiracy to cover up. 1. Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil.
Regardless of what you know, don't discuss it -- especially if you are a public figure, news anchor, etc. If it's not reported, it didn't happen, and you never have to deal with the issues.
2. Become incredulous and indignant. Avoid discussing key issues and instead focus on side issues which can be used show the topic as being critical of some otherwise sacrosanct group or theme. This is also known as the 'How dare you!' gambit.
3. Create rumor mongers.
Avoid discussing issues by describing all charges, regardless of venue or evidence, as mere rumors and wild accusations. Other derogatory terms mutually exclusive of truth may work as well. This method which works especially well with a silent press, because the only way the public can learn of the facts are through such 'arguable rumors'. If you can associate the material with the Internet, use this fact to certify it a 'wild rumor' from a 'bunch of kids on the Internet' which can have no basis in fact.
4. Use a straw man. Find or create a seeming element of your opponent's argument which you can easily knock down to make yourself look good and the opponent to look bad. Either make up an issue you may safely imply exists based on your interpretation of the opponent/opponent arguments/situation, or select the weakest aspect of the weakest charges. Amplify their significance and destroy them in a way which appears to debunk all the charges, real and fabricated alike, while actually avoiding discussion of the real issues.
5. Sidetrack opponents with name calling and ridicule. This is also known as the primary 'attack the messenger' ploy, though other methods qualify as variants of that approach. Associate opponents with unpopular titles such as 'kooks', 'right-wing', 'liberal', 'left-wing', 'terrorists', 'conspiracy buffs', 'radicals', 'militia', 'racists', 'religious fanatics', 'sexual deviates', and so forth. This makes others shrink from support out of fear of gaining the same label, and you avoid dealing with issues.
6. Hit and Run. In any public forum,
make a brief attack of your opponent or the opponent position and then scamper off before an answer can be fielded, or simply ignore any answer. This works extremely well in Internet and letters-to-the-editor environments where a steady stream of new identities can be called upon without having to explain criticism, reasoning -- simply make an accusation or other attack, never discussing issues, and never answering any subsequent response, for that would dignify the opponent's viewpoint.
7. Question motives.
Twist or amplify any fact which could be taken to imply that the opponent operates out of a hidden personal agenda or other bias. This avoids discussing issues and forces the accuser on the defensive.
8. Invoke authority.
Claim for yourself or associate yourself with authority and present your argument with enough 'jargon' and 'minutia' to illustrate you are 'one who knows', and simply say it isn't so without discussing issues or demonstrating concretely why or citing sources.
9. Play Dumb. No matter what evidence or logical argument is offered,
avoid discussing issues except with denials they have any credibility, make any sense, provide any proof, contain or make a point, have logic, or support a conclusion. Mix well for maximum effect.
10. Associate opponent charges with old news. A derivative of the straw man -- usually, in any large-scale matter of high visibility, someone will make charges early on which can be or were already easily dealt with - a kind of investment for the future should the matter not be so easily contained.) Where it can be foreseen, have your own side raise a straw man issue and have it dealt with early on as part of the initial contingency plans. Subsequent charges, regardless of validity or new ground uncovered, can usually then be associated with the original charge and dismissed as simply being a rehash without need to address current issues -- so much the better where the opponent is or was involved with the original source.
11. Establish and rely upon fall-back positions.
Using a minor matter or element of the facts, take the 'high road' and 'confess' with candor that some innocent mistake, in hindsight, was made -- but that opponents have seized on the opportunity to blow it all out of proportion and imply greater criminalities which, 'just isn't so.' Others can reinforce this on your behalf, later, and even publicly 'call for an end to the nonsense' because you have already 'done the right thing.' Done properly, this can garner sympathy and respect for 'coming clean' and 'owning up' to your mistakes without addressing more serious issues.
12. Enigmas have no solution. Drawing upon the overall umbrella of events surrounding the crime and the multitude of players and events,
paint the entire affair as too complex to solve. This causes those otherwise following the matter to begin to lose interest more quickly without having to address the actual issues.
13. Alice in Wonderland Logic.
Avoid discussion of the issues by reasoning backwards or with an apparent deductive logic which forbears any actual material fact.
14. Demand complete solutions.
Avoid the issues by requiring opponents to solve the crime at hand completely, a ploy which works best with issues qualifying for rule 10.
15. Fit the facts to alternate conclusions. This requires creative thinking unless the crime was planned with contingency conclusions in place.
16. Vanish evidence and witnesses. If it does not exist, it is not fact, and you won't have to address the issue.
17. Change the subject. Usually in connection with one of the other ploys listed here, find a way to side-track the discussion with abrasive or controversial comments in hopes of turning attention to a new, more manageable topic. This works especially well with companions who can 'argue' with you over the new topic and polarize the discussion arena in order to avoid discussing more key issues.
18. Emotionalize, Antagonize, and Goad Opponents. If you can't do anything else, chide and taunt your opponents and draw them into emotional responses which will tend to make them look foolish and overly motivated, and generally render their material somewhat less coherent. Not only will you avoid discussing the issues in the first instance, but even if their emotional response addresses the issue, you can further avoid the issues by then focusing on how 'sensitive they are to criticism.'
19. Ignore proof presented, demand impossible proofs. This is perhaps a variant of the 'play dumb' rule. Regardless of what material may be presented by an opponent in public forums, claim the material irrelevant and demand proof that is impossible for the opponent to come by (it may exist, but not be at his disposal, or it may be something which is known to be safely destroyed or withheld, such as a murder weapon.) In order to completely avoid discussing issues, it may be required that you to categorically deny and be critical of media or books as valid sources, deny that witnesses are acceptable, or even deny that statements made by government or other authorities have any meaning or relevance.
20. False evidence.
Whenever possible, introduce new facts or clues designed and manufactured to conflict with opponent presentations -- as useful tools to neutralize sensitive issues or impede resolution. This works best when the crime was designed with contingencies for the purpose, and the facts cannot be easily separated from the fabrications.
21. Call a Grand Jury, Special Prosecutor, or other empowered investigative body.
Subvert the (process) to your benefit and effectively neutralize all sensitive issues without open discussion. Once convened, the evidence and testimony are required to be secret when properly handled. For instance, if you own the prosecuting attorney, it can insure a Grand Jury hears no useful evidence and that the evidence is sealed and unavailable to subsequent investigators. Once a favorable verdict is achieved, the matter can be considered officially closed. Usually, this technique is applied to find the guilty innocent, but it can also be used to obtain charges when seeking to frame a victim.
22. Manufacture a new truth. Create your own expert(s), group(s), author(s), leader(s) or influence existing ones willing to forge new ground via scientific, investigative, or social research or testimony which concludes favorably. In this way, if you must actually address issues, you can do so authoritatively.
23. Create bigger distractions. If the above does not seem to be working to distract from sensitive issues, or to prevent unwanted media coverage of unstoppable events such as trials, create bigger news stories (or treat them as such) to distract the multitudes.
24. Silence critics. If the above methods do not prevail, consider removing opponents from circulation by some definitive solution so that the need to address issues is removed entirely. This can be by their death, arrest and detention, blackmail or destruction of their character by release of blackmail information, or merely by destroying them financially, emotionally, or severely damaging their health.
25. Vanish. If you are a key holder of secrets or otherwise overly illuminated and you think the heat is getting too hot, to avoid the issues, vacate the kitchen.
_______________________________________________________________________
Eight Traits of the Disinformationalist
1) Avoidance. They never actually discuss issues head-on or provide constructive input, generally avoiding citation of references or credentials. Rather, they merely imply this, that, and the other. Virtually everything about their presentation implies their authority and expert knowledge in the matter without any further justification for credibility.
2) Selectivity. They tend to pick and choose opponents carefully, either applying the hit-and-run approach against mere commentators supportive of opponents, or focusing heavier attacks on key opponents who are known to directly address issues. Should a commentator become argumentative with any success, the focus will shift to include the commentator as well.
3) Coincidental. They tend to surface suddenly and somewhat coincidentally with a new controversial topic with no clear prior record of participation in general discussions in the particular public arena involved. They likewise tend to vanish once the topic is no longer of general concern. They were likely directed or elected to be there for a reason, and vanish with the reason.
4) Teamwork. They tend to operate in self-congratulatory and complementary packs or teams. Of course, this can happen naturally in any public forum, but there will likely be an ongoing pattern of frequent exchanges of this sort where professionals are involved. Sometimes one of the players will infiltrate the opponent camp to become a source for straw man or other tactics designed to dilute opponent presentation strength.
5) Anti-conspiratorial. They almost always have disdain for 'conspiracy theorists' and, usually, for those who in any way believe JFK was not killed by LHO. Ask yourself why, if they hold such disdain for conspiracy theorists, do they focus on defending a single topic discussed in a NG focusing on conspiracies? One might think they would either be trying to make fools of everyone on every topic, or simply ignore the group they hold in such disdain.Or, one might more rightly conclude they have an ulterior motive for their actions in going out of their way to focus as they do.
6) Artificial Emotions. An odd kind of 'artificial' emotionalism and an unusually thick skin -- an ability to persevere and persist even in the face of overwhelming criticism and unacceptance. This likely stems from intelligence community training that, no matter how condemning the evidence, deny everything, and never become emotionally involved or reactive. The net result for a disinfo artist is that emotions can seem artificial.
Most people, if responding in anger, for instance, will express their animosity throughout their rebuttal. But disinfo types usually have trouble maintaining the 'image' and are hot and cold with respect to pretended emotions and their usually more calm or unemotional communications style. It's just a job, and they often seem unable to 'act their role in character' as well in a communications medium as they might be able in a real face-to-face conversation/confrontation. You might have outright rage and indignation one moment, ho-hum the next, and more anger later -- an emotional yo-yo.
With respect to being thick-skinned, no amount of criticism will deter them from doing their job, and they will generally continue their old disinfo patterns without any adjustments to criticisms of how obvious it is that they play that game -- where a more rational individual who truly cares what others think might seek to improve their communications style, substance, and so forth, or simply give up.
7) Inconsistent. There is also a tendency to make mistakes which betray their true self/motives. This may stem from not really knowing their topic, or it may be somewhat 'freudian', so to speak, in that perhaps they really root for the side of truth deep within.
I have noted that often, they will simply cite contradictory information which neutralizes itself and the author. For instance, one such player claimed to be a Navy pilot, but blamed his poor communicating skills (spelling, grammar, incoherent style) on having only a grade-school education. I'm not aware of too many Navy pilots who don't have a college degree. Another claimed no knowledge of a particular topic/situation but later claimed first-hand knowledge of it.
8) Time Constant. Recently discovered, with respect to News Groups, is the response time factor. There are three ways this can be seen to work, especially when the government or other empowered player is involved in a cover up operation:
a) ANY NG posting by a targeted proponent for truth can result in an IMMEDIATE response. The government and other empowered players can afford to pay people to sit there and watch for an opportunity to do some damage. SINCE DISINFO IN A NG ONLY WORKS IF THE READER SEES IT - FAST RESPONSE IS CALLED FOR, or the visitor may be swayed towards truth.
b) When dealing in more direct ways with a disinformationalist, such as email, DELAY IS CALLED FOR - there will usually be a minimum of a 48-72 hour delay. This allows a sit-down team discussion on response strategy for best effect, and even enough time to 'get permission' or instruction from a formal chain of command.
c) In the NG example 1) above, it will often ALSO be seen that bigger guns are drawn and fired after the same 48-72 hours delay - the team approach in play. This is especially true when the targeted truth seeker or their comments are considered more important with respect to potential to reveal truth. Thus, a serious truth sayer will be attacked twice for the same sin.

How to Spot a Spy (Cointelpro Agent)
One way to neutralize a potential activist is to get them to be in a group that does all the wrong things. Why?
1) The message doesn't get out.
2) A lot of time is wasted
3) The activist is frustrated and discouraged
4) Nothing good is accomplished.
FBI and Police Informers and Infiltrators will infest any group and they have phoney activist organizations established.
Their purpose is to prevent any real movement for justice or eco-peace from developing in this country.
Agents come in small, medium or large. They can be of any ethnic background. They can be male or female.
The actual size of the group or movement being infiltrated is irrelevant. It is the potential the movement has for becoming large which brings on the spies and saboteurs.
This booklet lists tactics agents use to slow things down, foul things up, destroy the movement and keep tabs on activists.
It is the agent's job to keep the activist from quitting such a group, thus keeping him/her under control.
In some situations, to get control, the agent will tell the activist:
- "You're dividing the movement."
[Here, I have added the psychological reasons as to WHY this maneuver works to control people]
This invites guilty feelings. Many people can be controlled by guilt. The agents begin relationships with activists behind a well-developed mask of "dedication to the cause." Because of their often declared dedication, (and actions designed to prove this), when they criticize the activist, he or she - being truly dedicated to the movement - becomes convinced that somehow, any issues are THEIR fault. This is because a truly dedicated person tends to believe that everyone has a conscience and that nobody would dissimulate and lie like that "on purpose." It's amazing how far agents can go in manipulating an activist because the activist will constantly make excuses for the agent who regularly declares their dedication to the cause. Even if they do, occasionally, suspect the agent, they will pull the wool over their own eyes by rationalizing: "they did that unconsciously... they didn't really mean it... I can help them by being forgiving and accepting " and so on and so forth.
The agent will tell the activist:
This is designed to enhance the activist's self-esteem. His or her narcissistic admiration of his/her own activist/altruistic intentions increase as he or she identifies with and consciously admires the altruistic declarations of the agent which are deliberately set up to mirror those of the activist.
This is "malignant pseudoidentification." It is the process by which the agent consciously imitates or simulates a certain behavior to foster the activist's identification with him/her, thus increasing the activist's vulnerability to exploitation. The agent will simulate the more subtle self-concepts of the activist.
Activists and those who have altruistic self-concepts are most vulnerable to malignant pseudoidentification especially during work with the agent when the interaction includes matter relating to their competency, autonomy, or knowledge.
The goal of the agent is to increase the activist's general empathy for the agent through pseudo-identification with the activist's self-concepts.
The most common example of this is the agent who will compliment the activist for his competency or knowledge or value to the movement. On a more subtle level, the agent will simulate affects and mannerisms of the activist which promotes identification via mirroring and feelings of "twinship". It is not unheard of for activists, enamored by the perceived helpfulness and competence of a good agent, to find themselves considering ethical violations and perhaps, even illegal behavior, in the service of their agent/handler.
The activist's "felt quality of perfection" [self-concept] is enhanced, and a strong empathic bond is developed with the agent through his/her imitation and simulation of the victim's own narcissistic investments. [self-concepts] That is, if the activist knows, deep inside, their own dedication to the cause, they will project that onto the agent who is "mirroring" them.
The activist will be deluded into thinking that the agent shares this feeling of identification and bonding. In an activist/social movement setting, the adversarial roles that activists naturally play vis a vis the establishment/government, fosters ongoing processes of intrapsychic splitting so that "twinship alliances" between activist and agent may render whole sectors or reality testing unavailable to the activist. They literally "lose touch with reality."
Activists who deny their own narcissistic investments [do not have a good idea of their own self-concepts and that they ARE concepts] and consciously perceive themselves (accurately, as it were) to be "helpers" endowed with a special amount of altruism are exceedingly vulnerable to the affective (emotional) simulation of the accomplished agent.
Empathy is fostered in the activist through the expression of quite visible affects. The presentation of tearfulness, sadness, longing, fear, remorse, and guilt, may induce in the helper-oriented activist a strong sense of compassion, while unconsciously enhancing the activist's narcissistic investment in self as the embodiment of goodness.
The agent's expresssion of such simulated affects may be quite compelling to the observer and difficult to distinguish from deep emotion.
It can usually be identified by two events, however:
First, the activist who has analyzed his/her own narcissistic roots and is aware of his/her own potential for being "emotionally hooked," will be able to remain cool and unaffected by such emotional outpourings by the agent.
As a result of this unaffected, cool, attitude, the Second event will occur: The agent will recompensate much too quickly following such an affective expression leaving the activist with the impression that "the play has ended, the curtain has fallen," and the imposture, for the moment, has finished. The agent will then move quickly to another activist/victim.
The fact is, the movement doesn't need leaders, it needs MOVERS. "Follow the leader" is a waste of time.
A good agent will want to meet as often as possible. He or she will talk a lot and say little. One can expect an onslaught of long, unresolved discussions.
Some agents take on a pushy, arrogant, or defensive manner: 1) To disrupt the agenda
2) To side-track the discussion
3) To interrupt repeatedly
4) To feign ignorance
5) To make an unfounded accusation against a person.
Calling someone a racist, for example. This tactic is used to discredit a person in the eyes of all other group members.
Saboteurs Some saboteurs pretend to be activists. She or he will ....
1) Write encyclopedic flyers (in the present day, websites)
2) Print flyers in English only.
3) Have demonstrations in places where no one cares.
4) Solicit funding from rich people instead of grass roots support
5) Display banners with too many words that are confusing.
6) Confuse issues.
7) Make the wrong demands.
8) Compromise the goal.
9) Have endless discussions that waste everyone's time. The agent may accompany the endless discussions with drinking, pot smoking or other amusement to slow down the activist's work.
Provocateurs 1) Want to establish "leaders" to set them up for a fall in order to stop the movement.
2) Suggest doing foolish, illegal things to get the activists in trouble.
3) Encourage militancy.
4) Want to taunt the authorities.
5) Attempt to make the activist compromise their values.
6) Attempt to instigate violence. Activisim ought to always be non-violent.
7) Attempt to provoke revolt among people who are ill-prepared to deal with the reaction of the authorities to such violence.
Informants 1) Want everyone to sign up and sing in and sign everything.
2) Ask a lot of questions (gathering data).
3) Want to know what events the activist is planning to attend.
4) Attempt to make the activist defend him or herself to identify his or her beliefs, goals, and level of committment.
Recruiting Legitimate activists do not subject people to hours of persuasive dialog. Their actions, beliefs, and goals speak for themselves.
Groups that DO recruit are missionaries, military, and fake political parties or movements set up by agents.
Surveillance ALWAYS assume that you are under surveillance.
At this point, if you are NOT under surveillance, you are not a very good activist!
Scare Tactics They use them.
Such tactics include slander, defamation, threats, getting close to disaffected or minimally committed fellow activists to persuade them (via psychological tactics described above) to turn against the movement and give false testimony against their former compatriots. They will plant illegal substances on the activist and set up an arrest; they will plant false information and set up "exposure," they will send incriminating letters [emails] in the name of the activist; and more; they will do whatever society will allow.
This booklet in no way covers all the ways agents use to sabotage the lives of sincere an dedicated activists.
If an agent is "exposed," he or she will be transferred or replaced.
COINTELPRO is still in operation today under a different code name. It is no longer placed on paper where it can be discovered through the freedom of information act.
The FBI counterintelligence program's stated purpose:
To expose, disrupt, misdirect, discredit, and otherwise neutralize individuals who the FBI categorize as opposed to the National Interests. "National Security" means the FBI's security from the people ever finding out the vicious things it does in violation of people's civil liberties.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression
Strong, credible allegations of high-level criminal activity can bring down a government. When the government lacks an effective, fact-based defense, other techniques must be employed. The success of these techniques depends heavily upon a cooperative, compliant press and a mere token opposition party. 1. Dummy up. If it's not reported, if it's not news, it didn't happen.
2. Wax indignant. This is also known as the "How dare you?" gambit.
3. Characterize the charges as "rumors" or, better yet, "wild rumors." If, in spite of the news blackout, the public is still able to learn about the suspicious facts, it can only be through "rumors." (If they tend to believe the "rumors" it must be because they are simply "paranoid" or "hysterical.")
4. Knock down straw men.
Deal only with the weakest aspects of the weakest charges. Even better, create your own straw men. Make up wild rumors (or plant false stories) and give them lead play when you appear to debunk all the charges, real and fanciful alike.
5. Call the skeptics names like "conspiracy theorist," "nutcase," "ranter," "kook," "crackpot," and, of course, "rumor monger." Be sure, too, to use heavily loaded verbs and adjectives when characterizing their charges and defending the "more reasonable" government and its defenders. You must then carefully avoid fair and open debate with any of the people you have thus maligned. For insurance, set up your own "skeptics" to shoot down.
6. Impugn motives.
Attempt to marginalize the critics by suggesting strongly that they are not really interested in the truth but are simply pursuing a partisan political agenda or are out to make money (compared to over-compensated adherents to the government line who, presumably, are not).
7. Invoke authority. Here the controlled press and the sham opposition can be very useful.
8. Dismiss the charges as "old news." 9. Come half-clean. This is also known as "confession and avoidance" or "taking the limited hangout route." This way, you create the impression of candor and honesty while you admit only to relatively harmless, less-than-criminal "mistakes." This stratagem often requires the embrace of a fall-back position quite different from the one originally taken. With effective damage control, the fall-back position need only be peddled by stooge skeptics to carefully limited markets.
10. Characterize the crimes as impossibly complex and the truth as ultimately unknowable.
11. Reason backward, using the deductive method with a vengeance. With thoroughly rigorous deduction, troublesome evidence is irrelevant. E.g. We have a completely free press. If evidence exists that the Vince Foster "suicide" note was forged, they would have reported it. They haven't reported it so there is no such evidence. Another variation on this theme involves the likelihood of a conspiracy leaker and a press who would report the leak.
12. Require the skeptics to solve the crime completely. E.g. If Foster was murdered, who did it and why?
13. Change the subject. This technique includes creating and/or publicizing distractions.
14. Lightly report incriminating facts, and then make nothing of them. This is sometimes referred to as "bump and run" reporting.
15. Baldly and brazenly lie. A favorite way of doing this is to attribute the "facts" furnished the public to a plausible-sounding, but anonymous, source.
16. Expanding further on numbers 4 and 5,
have your own stooges "expose" scandals and champion popular causes. Their job is to pre-empt real opponents and to play 99-yard football. A variation is to pay rich people for the job who will pretend to spend their own money.
17. Flood the Internet with agents. This is the answer to the question, "What could possibly motivate a person to spend hour upon hour on Internet news groups defending the government and/or the press and harassing genuine critics?" Don t the authorities have defenders enough in all the newspapers, magazines, radio, and television? One would think refusing to print critical letters and screening out serious callers or dumping them from radio talk shows would be control enough, but, obviously, it is not.

Lyrics in songs I've noticed.
Red Velvet
Oh hey! In the same dream
It kept calling us
Wonderland beyond distant memories
...........
Cntd
We we we strong, nothing missing
Wake up, the answer is Simple
Be Boss, blow the Whistle
The bigger world is noticing you.
Shall we have a festival? I hold your hand.
We've been waiting for this moment. Spread your wings and be yourself.
Come play at My carnival.
Climax? It starts now.
Watch out! We are making the rules.
......
It’s now or never, we got forever.
Sappy
;
You're sobbing and being pessimistic
You're hesitating again, you can't choose
Writing poems in your note, your hobby is sentimental
Look, now it's time to open the door
........
Tell me, which do you love?
It's not bad thing to dream
It's not a fairytale, it's the real world
What are you gonna do? Which one are you
gonna pick?
Reality or fantasy, adolescent boy?
I'm still clearing dating simulation games
using the manual
I'm still a long way from real love
.......
It's not that I don't like it
Escape from being just two-dimensional
Which one do you love?
Tonight let me know your true feelings
You'll really grow up then
Tell me, which one do you love?
(In the video the lyrics are "Logging out from delusion" for a part of it.)
That's not even getting into the imagery in the video.
Feel My Rhythm
Blowing up this fancy ball
We're back, cute chaotic delight
This is gonna be a crazy night
Epic appearance to stunning greetings
Let's have a little fun
Don't be shy, Bae bae
Let the play start
(Birds and wings everywhere in the video. Irene is shown offering strawberries to a gigantic statue of some sort which then falls towards her. Joy is seen standing in front of some type of being with wings, I can't tell what it would be though. Maybe o- I Cant tell, she's, yeah she's blocking the shot)
Imagine anything
Now cruising into a weird, new dimension
A place I've never imagined appears unexpectedly
Don't miss this moment, baby.
Don't confine yourself to yesterday or tomorrow.
I'm truly free right now.
Come ride with me (Sway)
Let's go anywhere (Way)
I want to mess all the boundaries
In this world (Oh yeah)
When the world stops What a what a feeling Come take my hand (All right) A brand new Film We falling deep, You and I Next time, spin the clock Where should we go? Come on, let's start again You and I

Avenged Sevenfold
Hate to twist your mind, but God ain't on your side
Flesh is burning, you can smell it in the air 'Cause men like you have such an easy soul to steal (steal) So stand in line while they ink numbers in your head You're now a slave until the end of time here Nothing stops the madness turning Haunting, yearning, pull the trigger You should've known the price of evil And it hurts to know that you belong here, yeah Ooh, it's your fuckin' nightmare While your nightmare comes to life
You've been lied to just to rape you of your sight And now they have the nerve to tell you how to feel (feel) So sedated as they medicate your brain And while you slowly go insane they tell you Given with the best intentions Help you with your complications
You should've known the price of evil And it hurts to know that you belong here, yeah No one to call, everybody to fear Your tragic fate is lookin' so clear, yeah Ooh, it's your fuckin' nightmare Ha, ha, ha, ha
And I know you hear their voices (calling from above) And I know they may seem real (these signals of love) But our life's made up of choices (some without appeal) They took for granted your soul And it's ours now to steal As your nightmare comes to life
Afterlife
Like walking into a dream, so unlike what you've seen So unsure but it seems, 'cause we've been waiting for you Fallen into this place, just giving you a small taste Of your afterlife here so stay, you'll be back here soon anyway
A place of hope and no pain, perfect skies with no rain Can leave this place but refrain, 'cause we've been waiting for you Fallen into this place, just giving you a small taste Of your afterlife here so stay, you'll be back here soon anyway This piece on Earth's not right (with my back against the wall) No pain or sign of time (I'm much too young to fall) So out of place, don't wanna stay, I feel wrong and that's my sign I've made up my mind Give me your hand but realize I just wanna say goodbye Please, understand I have to leave and carry on my own life
Creating God
Standing in the shade of altruism, answering the call Came a modern messiah to save us all Something far beyond the work of fiction, Positronic brain A world that's void of all the anguish and suffering, pain
We're creating god, master of our designs We're creating god, unsure of what we'll find
Never held a high regard for Darwin, selection takes too long A little kick in the pool shouldn't do us wrong Devouring the very last invention man would ever need But exponential growth is a frightening thing, indeed
Sometimes when I look up to the sky I have to wonder are we "summoning the demon" you and I?
Have you noticed that I'm needin' it more now, more than it needs me Got a couple of billion that seem to agree Surfing in an artificial dimension, but we're not alone Now the master has become just a stepping stone, oh
We're Creating, God.
Beast and the Harlot
This shining city built of gold A far cry from innocence There's more than meets the eye around here Look to the waters of the deep A city of evil There sat a seven headed beast Ten horns raised from his head Symbolic woman sits on his throne But hatred strips her and leaves her naked The beast and the harlot
The city dressed in jewels and gold Fine linen, myrrh and pearls Her plagues will come all at once As her mourners watch her burn Destroyed in an hour Merchants and captains of the world Sailors navigators too Will weep and mourn this loss With her sins piled to the sky The beast and the harlot
The day has come for all our sinners If you're not a servant, you'll be struck to the ground Flee the burning, greedy city Looking back on her to see there's nothing around
The day has come for all our sinners If you're not a servant, you'll be struck to the ground Flee the burning, greedy city Looking back on her to see there's nothing around I don't believe in fairy tales and no one wants to go to hell You've made the wrong decision and it's easy to see Now if you wanna serve above or be a king below with us You're welcome to the city where your future is set forever
Welcome to the family
Hey kid (hey kid) Do I have your attention? I know the way you've been living Life's so reckless, tragedy endless Welcome to the family Hey There's something missing Only time will alter your vision Never in question, lethal injection Welcome to the family Not long ago you find the answers were so crystal clear Within a day you find yourself living in constant fear Can you look at yourself now, can you look at yourself? You can't win this fight
I try and help you with the things that can't be justified I need to warn you that there is no way to rationalize So have you figured it out now, so have you figured it out? You can't win this fight
And in a way it seems there's no one to call When our thoughts are so numb And our feelings unsure We all have emptiness inside, we all have answers to find But you can't win this fight!
I see you're a king who's been dethroned Cast out in a world you've never know Stand down, place your weapon by your side It's our war in the end, we'll surely lose but that's alright So have you figured it out now, so have you figured it out?
Bat Country
So sorry you're not here I've been sane too long, my vision's so unclear Now take a trip with me But don't be surprised when things aren't what they seem
You've been breakin' down for far too long Far too many moons since you felt well and strong You see, you could say goodbye but you don't have to die Not ever
Engineer the wires to your brain Architect a code so you won't feel the pain With your family by your side and vigor in your eyes forever Live Forever I'm way up, a god in size, beyond the reach of mortals I shed my human side Father, oh father I stare at my reflection, have I lost that boy inside? Final paradigm What's it really mean to be a man? Think about your answer but please understand While it's natural to fear, I'll make it disappear forever I forever I'm way up, a god in size, beyond the reach of mortals I shed my human side Father, oh father I stare at my reflection, have I lost that boy inside? Final paradigm Singular I am I have the question if these thoughts are mine To live forever but did something in me die? I'm clawing my skin but I can't feel it inside I know the agony of pain would hurt so much better I'm way up, so far up Have I lost myself tonight? Mother, oh father Have you lost that boy you used to know?
Simulation
It seems I should have walked away Reverse the wager I've no means to pay Toto has pulled back the green tonight, in sight And blue pills coat with such disdain I wore the shades for so long That I've forgotten how to see The curtain rises but who dares to pull the strings
I know this might be hard for you to believe and all, But you only exist because we allow it I question all the voices in my head Are they mine or have I been misled? Total understanding doesn't seem to mean a thing When you can't see behind the silver screen, a figurine Can't you hear me scream? By the way of cosmic rays A subtle breakdown jarred the code display A simulation as I can tell, our cell Playing out a hopeless scene We stand to lose all our charm And faith just seems to wane A billion years can seem a stunningly short time You've been beaten down time and time again But still you find yourself at the center of it all I question all the voices in my head Are they mine or have I been misled? Total understanding doesn't seem to mean a thing When you can't see behind the silver screen, a figurine Can't you hear me scream? You hear me, you had one thing to do, one thing And you fucked it up, piece of shit Nurse, patient 666158 needs to be sedated We need 500 CCs of M Oh hello there, dearie I've been expecting you Posturing the way I feel Is truth only what we believe is real? Marvel the sketches that paint the night, starlight And take a breath before it's all erased away

Far away, far away Higher and higher To the place unseen
No one can stop me anymore Get set, go! Good-bye I’m not my old self Take a look at my WILDSIDE
By instinct, do it Come along with me Let us go down, down, down, down, da street
I didn’t go anywhere Now I could go everywhere Scared of change Just looking from the side
When you protect me and I’m breathing I’m forced into misery like a puppet, muppet I thought I was no good But behind weakness there was strength Words from loveless people, I don’t care about it anymore I will show you the truth
Never tell lies to myself any more Fly now to the place I want to be I’m never scared of going to the sky
Inside O-O-Out My wild side, my wild side The unseen me who has Overcome weakness (WILDSIDE) Far away, far away Higher and higher To the place unseen
No one can stop me anymore Get set, go! Good-bye I’m not my old self Which this WILDSIDE
Accepting myself that I don’t even know of I want to love more, believe myself more So I don’t get lost, Yeah
Starlight, slash the dark night already So bright, sparkle La-la-la-la-la
Inside O-O-Out My wild side, my wild side The unseen me who has Overcome weakness (WILDSIDE) Far away, far away Higher and higher To the place unseen
No one can stop me anymore Get set, go! Good-bye I’m not my old self Which this WILDSIDE
By instinct, do it Come along with me Let us go down down I will show you my wild side

2023.06.08 06:30 Pruppelippelupp I genuinely don’t know if I was emotionally neglected
Looking through the list of ways it can manifest in the FAQ, I had to get all the way to Perfectionism before finding one I don’t identify with, and that’s just because I had to unlearn it. But I don’t feel the same way about how they tie in with the parents role. If it’s not too much hassle, I’d like some advice on whether or not my experience lines up with “emotional neglect”, or if I’m in the wrong place.
I remember very little of my childhood, but I know I “shut down” and found strategies to stop my parents from probing into what I was experiencing at school and in my social life. Strategic lies, answering in ways that made it hard to follow up, mumbling, and twisting the truth.
My dad apologized to me in somewhat vague terms recently - stressing that he’s not as strict as he was. But I don’t know why. From what I remember, he was at his strictest when I didn’t do what I should’ve done. For my sake. Learning skills, habits, discipline and all that. Things I wish I learned.
My younger siblings are much better adjusted than me. I don’t think we were treated too dissimilarly.
Overall, I feel like I made it impossible for my emotional needs to be fulfilled. I didn’t let my parents connect with me. Blaming them feels wrong. I’m just wondering if this is a reasonable perspective, and if emotional neglect is a framework I can use to put my issues into perspective, or if I’m in the wrong place.
I was recently diagnosed with ad(h)d and (mild) autism, if that’s relevant.
Sorry if my English is bad. It’s not my first language, and it’s late.

2023.06.08 06:21 hijesushere Just some regular old, not weird in any way song lyrics that I noticed in a couple of my favorite songs... I'm gathering evidence...
Lyrics in songs I've noticed.
Red Velvet
Oh hey! In the same dream
It kept calling us
Wonderland beyond distant memories
...........
Cntd
We we we strong, nothing missing
Wake up, the answer is Simple
Be Boss, blow the Whistle
The bigger world is noticing you.
Shall we have a festival? I hold your hand.
We've been waiting for this moment. Spread your wings and be yourself.
Come play at My carnival.
Climax? It starts now.
Watch out! We are making the rules.
......
It’s now or never, we got forever.
Sappy
;
You're sobbing and being pessimistic
You're hesitating again, you can't choose
Writing poems in your note, your hobby is sentimental
Look, now it's time to open the door
........
Tell me, which do you love?
It's not bad thing to dream
It's not a fairytale, it's the real world
What are you gonna do? Which one are you
gonna pick?
Reality or fantasy, adolescent boy?
I'm still clearing dating simulation games
using the manual
I'm still a long way from real love
.......
It's not that I don't like it
Escape from being just two-dimensional
Which one do you love?
Tonight let me know your true feelings
You'll really grow up then
Tell me, which one do you love?
(In the video the lyrics are "Logging out from delusion" for a part of it.)
That's not even getting into the imagery in the video.
Feel My Rhythm
Blowing up this fancy ball
We're back, cute chaotic delight
This is gonna be a crazy night
Epic appearance to stunning greetings
Let's have a little fun
Don't be shy, Bae bae
Let the play start
(Birds and wings everywhere in the video. Irene is shown offering strawberries to a gigantic statue of some sort which then falls towards her. Joy is seen standing in front of some type of being with wings, I can't tell what it would be though. Maybe one of us? Cant tell, she's, yeah she's blocking the shot)
Imagine anything
Now cruising into a weird, new dimension
A place I've never imagined appears unexpectedly
Don't miss this moment, baby.
Don't confine yourself to yesterday or tomorrow.
I'm truly free right now.
Come ride with me (Sway)
Let's go anywhere (Way)
I want to mess all the boundaries
In this world (Oh yeah)
When the world stops What a what a feeling Come take my hand (All right) A brand new Film We falling deep, You and I Next time, spin the clock Where should we go? Come on, let's start again You and I
Everglow
You used to be afraid of the dark night (ah yeah yeah) Hiding without anyone else knowing (ah yeah yeah) No one say happy ending You stayed silent and ran away (Here we go Here we go like)...
Knock Knock There’s a monster It’s growing larger, the black hole inside of you When you back uh? The howler has swallowed you, that’s the killer Don’t be afraid, hold my hand Your past is making you scared But know your power For the final time, be first You know that I come first I’m the winner winner winner Yes, it’s the last melody To save save save you (so don’t keep) Don’t be deceived by the lie That there is no light in this world Together we will Dream a dream that’s never been seen before Dream a dream that’s never been seen before (Ya) It’s ok if you fall (stand up) It’s you (hands up) Faster Stronger Better Gotta be the best Between night and day, around 5:30AM A war without loyalty will suffocate you, this is a foul Lies, darkness, truth, ecstasy, fantasy My candle makes you explode like a fireworks of melodies in the dawn Don’t be afraid, hold my hand Your past is making you scared But know your power For the final time, be first You know that I come first I’m the winner winner winner Yes, it’s the last melody To save save save you (so don’t keep) Don’t be deceived by the lie That there is no light in this world Together we will Dream a dream that’s never been seen before I’m breaking down the walls, crossing the lines I won’t shrivel up, I’ll jump over one step You got me now got me now two step Don’t slow it down slow it down Shout towards the sky that comes to you Hold onto the key of hope...
Bon bon chocolate
go up to the sky
.
Their song Angels; Waking the Fallen, Sounding the Seventh Trumpet.

2023.06.08 06:14 randomlymadename Should you learn Vocabulary for the SAT?
Hi, I scored 1590 on last August's SAT. Since then I've been tutoring students and one of them even got 1570.
I also consistently scored 1550, 1560, and 1580 on my last three practice tests, so I'd say I have my way. Here are some of my key takeaways to answer the "Should I learn vocabulary" questions I frequently get.
This will be a lengthy post, so buckle up ;)
.
.
Learning vocabulary on the SAT is arguably one of the most arduous feats for this exam; it also is quite debatable. Not every body can learn and memorise hundreds of difficult words, nor do they have the resources to. So if you spend countless time on learning something that's ineffective, it will harm you time-wise and mentality-wise. Let's see how you can change that.
Don't learn Vocabulary
I know, before you throw your sticks and stones at me, hear me out.
You shouldn't learn Vocabulary if:
- You already have a decent vocabulary (usable).
- You are preparing in less than 2 months.
- You still struggle with understanding some paragraphs although you've learnt a fair share of new words.
You already have a decent vocabulary
If you already have a decent vocabulary, meaning you normally read a lot, this advice should come as a no-brainer. However, some students who have exceptional vocabulary felt discouraged by the sheer amount of new words they still encounter on the SAT. That said, even if you have an extensive word bank, you're still going to encounter some troubles.
The truth is, no one (I mean at least 95% of students who take the SAT won't) understands every single word on the SAT (I wouldn't expect any high-schooler to understand
pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis but hey if there's a passage about this, we're still going to have to deal with it.)
There are absolutely monstrous passages/paragraphs where you can only understand every other word, but still, people get absolute scores all the time right? What did they do? They find ways to get around actually understanding the words themselves.
You are preparing in less than 2 months
I personally started prepping for the SAT in late June and took part in August SAT, so I am most familiar with this situation. There's nothing wrong with this; in fact, I think
2 months is the right amount of time one should spend on prepping for the SAT whether or not you have had a solid background in English or Mathematics (or at least you aim for an about 300 score increase).
Regardless, the nature of this time frame is that you should purely focus on studying for the SAT, not your Vocabulary. 2 months is enough for you to go from 1000 to the upper 1400, or even 1500 if you just learn for the SAT. In addition, if you aim for a perfect score, it remains correct. Although you still need a solid English background, you have to put more focus on preparing for every possible scenario including, but totally not limited to, encountering a completely new word, accidentally leaving difficult passages/paragraphs for last, and running low on time. Sometimes, a perfect scorer should also prepare him/hethem-self for external factors such as you had a bad start to the day, you didn't sleep well, you're nervous, etc.
I'll dive deeper into how you can aim for a perfect score by understanding their strategy in a future post. Perfect scorers have to stay on top of everything in their preparation process.
You still struggle with understanding some paragraphs although you've learnt a fair share of new words
This is kinda similar to the first scenario. It is a sign that you have been learning the SAT wrong. The SAT doesn't test your ability to memorise words, it tests your ability to read the
context or your reading comprehension.
One way to fix this is to reestablish your strategy or thinking process to further align with what the SAT is testing.
When should you learn Vocabulary?
You should learn Vocabulary if:
- You don't have a firm background in English.
- You have an excessive amount of time to prepare (more than 3 months).
- You aim for a perfect score (and you have plenty of time).
You don't have a firm background in English
If you don't have a firm background in English then the SAT is not going to be the only thing that troubles you. My general advice is to learn English rather than to learn for the SAT. And after you get better, learn the SAT.
You have an excessive amount of time to prepare (more than 3 months)
This is when time is in your favour. You can improve every single aspect of the SAT. Do you want to improve your knowledge of dated passages and poems? Just read more from Charles Dickens, Nathaniel Hawthorne, or Shakespeare.
Pick a book, a storyline, or a subject which intrigues you and dive into it. Remember to have fun as you're going to have to stick with it for a long time.
You aim for a perfect score (and you have plenty of time)
This is, again, a case in which time is in your favour. If you aim for a perfect score, perfection is the goal. You have to focus on honing even the minutest of skills (and that includes understanding every shade and second meaning of a word.)
Not only that, a perfect scorer has to understand what to expect for the SAT, they would learn and dissect the exam many times over until they understand the key to this
standardised test.
Attention!
You MUST learn new words if they are from the Maths section. In this case, the problem isn't your vocabulary but your knowledge of a mathematics concept. If you ever encounter new words like this, don't just look them up in your preferred language, or find its definition only. Relearn everything related to that concept immediately.
Summary
It depends on both your goal and your time to determine whether or not you should spend time learning more Vocabulary. In conclusion, if you aim to study explicitly for the SAT then don't, but if you aim to improve your English skills in general then please do.
btw, pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is a lung disease caused by inhaling very fine ash and sand dust ;)
Have a nice day and good luck out there! You've got this 💪🏻

2023.06.08 05:23 Truth-or-Death1988 Why Is Disproving the Rapture So Important to Me?
Because God showed me its role in the 'great deception.' Do you believe the rapture is taught in the Bible?

2023.06.08 05:22 Ok_Chemistry_6395 Did You Like Poppin' Party's 2nd EP Album? Reviewing "Youth To Be Continued"
Hey everyone, will be reviewing Poppin' Party's new EP. I believe this is the first time I've shared a reddit post on Poppin' Party. I was intially going to put out Poppin' Party's "Shut Away In Summer" single but I guess I was not interested in writing one up. I have to say it was not up to par overall, it could have been better for the most part. Aside from their previous single, let's jump into Popipa's new EP!
"Youth To Be Continued" - It's got a bit of a Charleston jazzy swing mix into the rock pop genre which is something I like; quite a unique combination. This is like the anime version of "La La Land" lol. The main chorus is quite a bop and I love the instrumentals connecting with the funky and cheeky singing style lyrics. There's not much I can go off with this song, but I love it. This song is really fun to vibe out, and it felt different in a way compared to many of Poppin' Party's earlier compositions. Overall, "Youth To Be Continued" was fun and cheery, definitely a favorite on my first listen.
"Future Place" - This song reminds me a little bit of their earlier works that is recently being formulated into more of a newer version of Poppin' Party. Don't get me wrong but Poppin' Party has relatively sound the same and sometimes I feel like that one song becoming a banger tends to be a little sought after time to time. Within this song, I personally dislike the country sounding rock n' roll at the beginning which seems a little detached from the overall song itself. In the later verses, it starts to get better among the backing vocals of other Poppin' Party members. I loved the backing vocals on this track which helps to tell the story of this song better. The main chorus of the song is alright and is very joyous sounding throughout. It defintiely gives off road trip or fun festival type of vibes here and there. It's not my most liked song on my inital listen but Popipa presented the song nicely. I feel like this song is just an opener to see the future of Poppin' Party entering the adult world of attending college and focus on one of the crucial points in their life that defines their success. I think song defines the meaning fairly well, but nothing stood out to me. The song is okay, not a favorite on my intial listen.
"I Love You" - "I Love You" was a song that opens up about the truth of Arisa's past based on the story. Now I don't want to further assume because I have not look into the story at all but only a brief summary of what the story is about. To this day, I'm personally not a fan of Arisa Ichigaya personality wise but she is quite a mood at times. Coincidentally, this song actually have the same amount of combos as "I-I Never Said Love" (606 combos). Songs that are both polar opposites from one another definitely brought Arisa's personality out of the shadows. The song is simply well done and there's not a whole lot I can bring with this song. It starts with a soft piano and adds on with the typical Poppin' Party instrumental all throughout. It does sound like a little bit of their older works which is always nice to bring back some of the older Poppin' Party songs into the mix. I personally liked the song, it was laid-back and quite a vibe at the main chorus. I deem this one as a favorite of mines.
"Five Letters" - It introduces a soft, ambient grace note at the beginning, adding on with four more notes on the piano accompanying it. At that point, I was already enticed with the song; it's not something I hear from Poppin' Party all the time. It's very mature for an artist like Poppin' Party to present this song in such a beautiful way. This song was absolutely one of my favorites on my first listen. It was smooth, chill, and reminiscent of past memories. It gives a lot of slice of life vibes thinking about the good old days, building past connections, and treading a new path lying ahead of you. Poppin' Party is taking on big opportunities visiting college and experience new chapters ahead of them. We may have our struggles in life but this is what makes us human. Humans will always make mistakes along the way and we can overcome them to keep pushing forward and empower one another. "Five Letters" was a song that kept me moving forward and think about happy thoughts that'll get you out from your most difficult times struggling. As mentioned, it is one of my most favorite Poppin' Party songs I've enjoyed. I am deeply moved by Poppin' Party as an artist. They may have lots of songs I don't necessarily enjoy, but I am a fan with several of their works as a whole.
"The Greatest Song" - I have said this in the past before, but song collaborations are not as easy as you think. For me, I find collaborations with artists outside of Bandori to be a bit unnecessary and they often times don't connect and synergize with current artists from the Bandori franchise. I get that it's there to promote the franchise but it does not work musically and stylistically sometimes. I think the song composed by HoneyWorks was just fine, but there are elements that didn't appeal to me whole lot. The backing vocals do help shape the structure of the song among many other musicality involved. This song sounds like an quicker version of "Future Train" which is also a song I like from Poppin' Party. There is some parts where it sounds like Sparkling Dreaming Sing Girls" and "Boom Through Summer" which are also songs I like from Poppin' Party's earlier days. It also sounds like an Afterglow song, especially at the synthesizer. It's kind of nostalgic song now that I mentioned a few songs being merged into one song. Overall, it's a cute and simply well-written song and I do like it, but it's not a favorite of mine yet.
"Ring A Bell" - This song was also the implemented for the 6th anniversary loading screen. I like the bells ringing in the background to give the song a warm and welcoming setting. It is fun and I like it instrumentally, the vocals are nice and pretty harmonious like the bells. I think the bells give the song it's unique charm mixed in with the same rock pop style Poppin' Party is normally used to playing. I liked how the backing vocals imitate the sound of the chiming bells to define the meaning of this song more. I feel like a lot of their music relatively sound the same anyways which can be an issue moving forward with their current progression of writing music. A lot of their music is quite boring and generic but it all depends what stands out or not. With this one, I have nothing much to say other than the fact I actually like it. I have not considered this song to be a favorite just yet.
Conclusion - We have finally made it to the end of this EP album and I am honestly astonished by the recent music Bandori has put out so far. I think Poppin' Party overall has pique one of the top 3 amongst Morfonica and Afterglow by far. This was a lovely project Poppin' Party has put together. They may seem like a decent band, but there are some songs that are worthwhile to listening to and I like a fair amount of their songs overall. Maybe I'm just not too fond of their newer stuff to the point it dissatisfies me. But no, they really shown growth overall on this album. I think Poppin' Party is by far one of the most consistent bands I've listened to, it's no wonder their music sounds the same. But then at the same time, they add something that'll pull you in to enjoy it more. I'm very much impressed to say the least; quite a step ahead compared to their previous single. What are your thoughts on Poppin' Party's 2nd EP album? What songs did you enjoy and what were your least favorites to most favorites? I look forward to hearing them!

2023.06.08 04:11 MaleficentAccident40 Book review: "The Art of Abduction" by Igor Douven
Douven’s deep dive into abductive inference and its relation to the nature of rationality is definitely worth reading. The book starts by defining abduction loosely as a form of explanatory reasoning, ideally picking the “best” explanation for a phenomenon.
The discussion gets interesting when Douven begins to discuss some examples: Newton using the sound of cannons to adduce a Dutch victory against the English was my favorite, but Thompson’s discovery of the electron is a good one too - it was not a deductive inference, or induced. Rather, it was adduced from the available evidence — it was the best explanation. No general law was inferred, rather, something was constructed to explain the situation better. People reason like this all the time, right? Douven agrees: he thinks it is a very natural method. Of course, it being natural does not prevent it from being critiqued. Honing in on the concrete issue of encapsulating abduction via update rules, Douven introduces the critiques from Dutch book arguments, specifically van Frassen’s — showing non-Bayesian updating can incur loss.
Specifically, van Frassen argues that an actor that does not use Bayes’ rule to update their priors (or uses a variant which adds a .1 bonus to the best explanation, called EXPL), can make individual bets which seem to be profitable, but collectively guarantee a loss — harming the better. Douven then comes in with a plethora of evidence to the contrary. While using a non-Bayesian updating rule can guarantee a loss in some situations, that may not necessarily be the most harmful outcome — he tries to show that an abductive rule sometimes outperforms Bayes’ rule. Consider a biased coin (say 0.1 for heads, 0.2 for tails, something like that). Douven compares EXPL to Bayes’ rule, and finds that while EXPL tends to be more off the mark when it is wrong, overall, it wins in predicting what the coin’s bias is — showing abduction has potential.
More specifically, he shows that abductively-adjusted inference rules can often outperform Bayes' rule in terms of converging to the a probable truth faster, and predicting the eventual truth with less error. While it may lose with bets in Dutch Book situations, it can learn! Douven then explains the scoring rules he used to compare the algorithms in a technical chapter, and argues that abduction can help our epistemic goals of coming to more accurate graded beliefs quickly better because of this property - that the Dutch Book based dismissal is hasty. Note that nowhere does he actually state that abduction is categorically better: he is opposed to the notion that there is "one way" to be properly rational (and the text contains many interesting examples where Bayes' rule alone wins). The text then goes into several other simulations where EXPL outperforms Bayes' rule: from modeling social problems to better fitting an "ecological" (rather than rigid) conception of rationality, there are many fascinating cases to ponder as you go through the book and digest it.
At this point, I do wonder: if EXPL is essentially Bayes' theorem with an attached bonus for the "best" explanation, how truly "abductive" is it? It seems to me more like a hybrid form of inference, and the truly meaty part here is actually assigning that bonus. One interesting way to go about this would be an overview of what participants tend to include in their "good explanations" - any appeals to theoretical constructs or virtues that are not implied by a Bayesian analysis, that would strengthen the book's overall presentation. That would confirm to me that EXPL (or indeed, any other abductive inference heuristic) diverges significantly enough from a Bayesian approach to be considered meaningfully distinct.
The book's argument against Cartesian skepticism is also interesting. I'm still thinking about it; but the essence is that if we were to take By being exposed to data that the world is sensible (and not erratic) and that I am not always dreaming, I could. However, none of this overcomes the epistemic block that this could be projections of my own mind - in other words, abduction doesn't seem to overcome mind-dependence, for you could argue that the perception of sensibility and novelty are also sensory projections (and formulate a plausible explanation). Perhaps this is a portion I have not yet understood.
All in all, this book is definitely worth a read. It thoroughly dismantles pure Bayesianism (and any decision theories that could arise thereof), and poses relevant directions for subsequent research into rationality. could even see applications to computational reasoning work. If it is within your means, definitely do check out the book. I am now personally thinking about the potential abductive approaches in some analytical problems in the social sciences: maybe some in Al also, improving capability in causal and factorial analysis.

2023.06.08 04:09 Hopeful-Pomelo4488 COINTELPRO Techniques for dilution, misdirection and control of a internet forum - Reposting
Reposting this, long read but relevant for the coming attacks

- COINTELPRO Techniques for dilution, misdirection and control of a internet forum

2023.06.08 03:40 Icy-Condition-3187 Mama's, Ballads, and Dance Breaks - My In Depth Review of the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Finale 2023
Here I am writing an in-depth review of Eurovision 2023. 2021 was my first Eurovision since Alexander Rybak won my heart with Fairytale. I missed 2022 due some...stuff. And 2023 may be my favourite year since I came back.
So I am doing a shot for a shot review of this year's contest.
A few notes;
- I will be going off the BBC Broadcast from BBC iPlayer. This will be my third time watching this year's contest.
- I will be ranking all the acts including intervals, alongside some comments on the in between segments.
- this is all my personal rankings, so please don't be mad.
Opener: Kalush Orchestra- Stefania ft Sam Ryder, Andrew Lloyd Weber, Joss Stone, Miss Banks, and Kate Middleton I did not watch 2022 (only select songs on YouTube) so I never saw this performance, but Kalush came out in a blend of backstage walking in a tube station (where the auditions took place) and into the stadium in Liverpool.
This was highlighted with cameos from British rappers and music stars including Sam Ryder, who did an awesome guitar bit. Andrew Lloyd Weber made an appearance, Joss Stone, Miss Banks...this felt like a star studded version of Stefania that the band could not perform in Ukraine.
Towards the end of the backstage and tubey bits, we have a royal cameo with Kate Middleton herself performing a piano solo! I missed that on both watches before this! I was surprised!
And then we get a super transition complete with a marching band, as Kalush performs the song in Liverpool and this may be one of my favourite openers ever. I might be biased because I really rate this song. This might be my favourite Ukaraine entry not named Go_A. It was really pushed home with the celeb cameos and features.
Final Rating: 8.5/10
Flag Ceremony NO RATING We now get the traditional flag ceremony where we get the 26 finalists to come out to British anthems including Blur, Annie Lennox, Prodigy and more mixed in with Ukrainian acts from Eurovision including Go_A, Eurovision winner Jamala, Tina Karol, and one of my favourite Eurovision acts of all time, Verka!
It was a fun little tour down nostalgia lane alongside the first exposure of the acts for this year!
Segment with the hosts For non-British viewers, you may not know the hosts; so let's go over them!
Mel C from the iconic Spice Girls is the arena MC for this evening. As viewers, we don't get to hear much of her, but for Liverpool, I bet that was a nice little grab!
Alesha Dixon is probably the best known out of the three English hosts. Being a part of Mis-Teeq, she shot to fame with 'Scandalous' in the 2000s before going solo.
Julia Sanina I don't know much about, but I wanted to take the moment to say her contrasting dress with Alesha for the Ukrainian flag colours was so great!
Hannah Waddingham is slowly becoming England's next national treasure. Her Emmy award winning work includes Ted Lasso amongst many things.
Graham Norton is an Irish TV host that has been synonymous with the BBC since I was a child in the early 2000s. He took over as Eurovision commentator when the late, great, Sir Terry Wogan passed away. He is also an out and proud gay man, and his self-named chat show is watched globally.
If you are interested in who did commentary, it was Graham Norton, and the amazing Mel Geidroyc. Mel has been doing TV as long as I have been alive and has mainly been a comedian and TV Host, synomous with the BBC. Mel, alongside best friend Sue Perkins, are both seen as national treasures in the UK.
The hosts go over the rules and Hannah does...an improv French piece? I don't know French so I can't translate that. It is then time for the first act.
I will not go over the post cards. Austria - Teya and Salena - Who The Hell Is Edgar? I love the backstory to this song. The producer had no idea who Edgar Allen Poe was! And so the song was born.
The song was bouncy, and it was like I was in the clubs in 2010. But unfortunately, it was nothing I had not heard before. It was generic pop, but that was not to say it was not bad!
The chorus was in my head all freaking night, and the girls choreography was fantastic and on full point. The bridge kinda dwindled the song for a bit and it went on a little longer for what it was.
The striking and contrasting colours of red and white were as equally memorable as the chorus.
Overall, solid entry but it's not quite one I think will win on any ESC.
7.4/10
Portugal - Mimicat - Ai Carocao This song was a disappointment to be honest. I did like the cabaret and burlesque themes, but the crowd engagement and uniqueness never grasped me as much as I felt.
The crowd was into it and the dancers were into it, incorporating a lot of Latin and Portuguese dances - salsa, in particular.
Unfortunately, it was just not grasping enough to be a solid contender. If I saw this on a different night out in a Portuguese lounge, I would definitely be dancing away!
7.4/10
Switzerland - Remo Forrer - Watergun I don't like ballads. I find them slow, tiring, and meloncholic for the sake of being meloncholic. And at the end of the song...I really enjoyed this! This was one of my top 3 songs of the night. I don't know why people did not enjoy it.
Reno's voice is strong and his presence for the stage at such a young age is incredible and I predict a strong future for him and possibly an ESC return in a few years time.
The irony of a Swiss man singing about not wanting to be a soldier made me laugh. But other than that, I really, really enjoyed this song!
8.7/10
Poland - Blanka - Solo Ugh. This was BAD! I liked it on first listen but after re-listens...it did not age well. It's summer pop in a typical 2010 beat and unlike Austria, this song had nothing memorable.
It did not even have a solo! Points deducted!
It was just...not a good song. But hey, it's better than a certain song about to be played!
6.5/10
Serbia - Luke Black - Samo Me Si Spada I...
This was the worst song of the night for me. The lyrics were incoherent mumbles into the microphone followed by unplugging dancers who did nothing for 90% of the performance?
I get he has a huge following online but I'm sorry, I'm not a fan. This incoherent mess of mumbles and bright lights was clearly Billy Eilish inspired, but it was so far off the mark. You can hear him panting into the mic as he sings, so clearly his endurance needs work.
One of the worst songs I have seen in ESC history including the UK's Embers song of 2021...
3/10
France - La Zarra - Evidement The crowd needed an energetic ear worm after that...mess.
La Zarra delivered but was it too safe for France? France is known for some knock out hits in Eurovision in recent years...and I feel this was not one of them.
Whilst it was strong, it was not 2022, 2021, or 2018 France. Her dress sense and the bright, strobing performance contrasted her muted yet energetic performance.
And the crowd was really into it! Solid performance, but just a little too safe from Le Frans.
7.5/10
Cyprus - Andrew Lambrou - Break A Broken Heart I'm not a fan of when a country outsources to another country, with a singer or band with heritage from that country. Case in point, Australian Andrew Lambrou who has Cypriot parents, performed for Cyprus despite being Australian.
However, this was a good little pop ballad. It was catchy, memorable, and this song felt like a chart hit. That being said, his performance did not feel heavy or had the gravity of a performer. It felt like a glorified karaoke performance in this regard.
But it was not a bad song! It was catchy, emotional, and definitely powerful.
7.4/10
Spain - Blanca Paloma - Eaea This was a weirdly beautiful song, that felt like a dream sequence. The beat is clearly aboriginal or ancient Spanish, and the veil adds another level of entrigue. It is definitely folk inspired for sure.
It was soothing, but oddly creepy in the sense it was super atmospheric.
I don't know what to think of this song in all fairness.
6.7/10
Sweeden - Loreen - Tattoo I am conflicted.
This is a good song, but Eurovision winner quality? No. It felt boring for a lot of it, and the Avant Garde pop elements and...whatever those nails were did nothing for me.
Loreen is stunning, and has an incredible voice for sure. But this did absolutely nothing for me, and was not a winning quality song.
Very catchy and memorable chorus, and the press machine she was in is very unique in terms of performance. But that is about it.
8/10
Albania - Albina and the Klemendi Family - Duje This was a mess.
Everyone seemed lost, and the song had no clear direction. The backing singers looked bored, and it just felt so, so, so uninspired. I don't have many positive remarks about this song.
It's not Luke Black...that's about it.
4/10
Italy - Marco Mengoni - Due Vite Ok. I'm not a fan of sad songs that are sad just because. It's one thing for every song in this contest to be a banger, but unfortunately you also have Luke Black (and no, I have about 100 Luke Black jokes to throw in here).
That being said, it might not be my thing, but the emotional outpour from Marco was something to behold.
It's not my thing, but I can appreciate it. That's 3 straight bangers from Italy with Måneskin, Mahmood, and now Marco - MMM.
7.7/10
Estonia - Alika - Bridges I was not knowing what to expect...and then I saw the Piano and I got instant Amy Lee vibes. Amy Lee is one of my favourite vocalists of all time and Evanescence was me for...a long time.
As soon as Alike opened her mouth...goosebumps. She sounds so much like Alike, in fact, this track would not go amiss on an Evanescence album. It's just a beautiful song by a beautiful woman. The bright blue dress and self playing piano were symbolistic of this memorable performance.
Just a fantastically beautiful performance!
8.3/10
Finland - Karrija - Cha Cha Cha I'm coming straight off the bat.
This is one of my favourite songs I have EVER heard on ESC. From dancing, to stage presence, to the blending of pop and metal to create this beast. The rapping in Finnish, and then the screaming cha cha cha...and then the hidden pop verse at the end, leading to the bridge...we will never have another song like this.
It felt like Til Lindermann of Ramnsteinn and Electric Callboy had a baby. This made me dance. It made me scream. And was the song of the night for sure.
Even the insane dancing fit!
How he was robbed I have no idea! This was an insane performance and joins Fairytale, Hard Rock Hallelujah, and Zitt E Buoni as my favourite songs ever performed at ESC.
9.8/10
Chezia - Vesna - My Sister's Crown After Finland, I was not expecting a bop. But we got a bop!
I have a soft spot for well put together girl groups, and this is definitely a well put together girl group. It is an empowering, feminist song that has a lot of folk moments, rapping, great chereography and it was just a nice package.
I just wish it had a stand out moment. That was what really pushed me back on this song.
Also a very pink performance.
8/10
Australia - Voyager - Promise I am coming in knowing who Voyager are. I was surprised and when they came to perform...I was very impressed.
It's a poppy song, and it is insanely catchy! But then halfway through the song, you get this brutal breakdown and an insane progressive riff from the female guitarist. Even the backing singing was great!
The set was all Night Rider themed and felt like I was going through a synthwave. It was just what we needed to continue after two straight bangers. Another freaking banger!
It even has a keytar solo!!!!
Pretty sure this is gonna be a Eurovision classic for years to come.
Oh oh oh ohohoh.
8.8/10
Belgium - Gustaph - Because Of You This next performance is a little...ehhh for me.
But that does not mean I don't like it! It is just a little out of time for me. It seems like a hit that would do really well in the late 90s and early 2000s. In fact, I can see this song winning if it was earlier.
The beat is strong and the dress game is strong here.
Also as a side note; Gustav and Marco Mengoni did a really good job this year for the LGBT community. As a member myself, these two songs really were a great show!
7.7/10
Skit With Graham Norton This is just classic UK cheese!
We catch back up with Graham in the commentary booth watching old Eurovision DVDs and he deliberately throws popcorn on the floor 🤣 it's just cheese to the maximum. Graham is a master of the cheese, and has made a career of it.
Skit with Mel Geidroyc And now we get a weird skit where Mel Geidroyc is churning butter...I died from laughter 🤣🤣
Some great comedy relief all night long.
Armenia - Brunette - Future Lover And now we get back into the pop train. And this was one of the better pop songs of the night (the best is yet to come). And like Luke Black, she begins laying down...and unlike Luke Black, she produces a good song.
Look, no hate for Luke at all but...come on!
Anyway. Back to Brunette. She goes from smooth to rap and then straight up pop. She channels her inner Serj Tankien here by experimenting in multiple voice notes.
And there is a dance break which is one of the better dance breaks of the night.
Overall, it's a good song but it's nothing special. We see one of these tracks every year.
7.7/10
Moldova - Pasha Parfeni - Soreli Si Luna This is by far the best song that shows what Eurovision is about. It is full of Eastern European culture, a fantastic flute, two very cute (the one on the right in particular) and very energetic folk drummers slash dancers, and some really cool visuals. Some beautiful dancing and a powerful presence on stage.
I'm surprised this did not do better. Alongside Remo Forrer, I'm really surprised these hits got slept on.
I adore Pasha. And I really want to see him represent Moldova again in the future. Third time is the charm Pasha!
9/10
Ukaraine - Tvorchi - Heart of Steel First of all, well done Tvorchi. Minutes before they went live, their hometown of Ternopol was invaded by Russia. I don't want to go into anymore, so I won't.
But this song...I was not a fan. Stefania blew me away, and Shum is an all time favourite ESC track for me. And this song failed to live up to either. But the vocals and visuals were very, very strong. Combining realistic VCG and SFX was one thing, but this felt like I was at a sci-fi DJ convention.
That being said, I was not a fan. It felt rushed and over produced with an emphasis on visual reactions and not auditory. I was just impressed they performed minutes after hearing the worst news of their life.
7.5/10
Norway - Alessandra - Queen of Kings YASSS QUEEN!
I really enjoyed this song! From Alessandra's incredible singing and the hookworms - this is the catchiest song of the night. The dancing was on point, and the crowd was really into it.
Any other year, this would be a top 3 song. But this year was stacked. It was not 2021 stacked, but it was stacked. And she is so young! I see her bringing it home to Norway in the future.
Speaking of Norway, I hear a lot Alexander Rybak tunes in this. I now want a collav between the two.
The song could have done without that High note...
8.4/10
Germany - Lord of the Lost - Blood And Glitter This is my style of music. Heavily Rammstein inspired, I would have preferred if Electric Callboy was in this spot but for what ever reason...it never happened.
But LotL still produced a banger. It has screams, growls, sweet and bitter notes...it was a nice little metal performance to kick the last leg of the night off.
I see why it did so poorly. But I am also hopeful Electric Callboy offer a Karrija style performance next year.
The outfits threw me off a bit however...
8.7/10
Lithuania - Monika Linkyte - Stay Monika is great.
Her song however, was very mid. It comes across as an Adele esque song, and without the backing singers, I would knock a few points off. It's not that she had a bad night...I just think this was the wrong choice.
Especially as she had a banger in 2015.
The chorus (which I think is Lithuanian) was very catchy however. It was memorable for that and unfortunately, that alone.
I want to see Monika again. But sadly, I also see Lithuania dropping out due to bad results in recent years.
7.2/10
Israel - Noa Kirel - Unicorn Pop song of the night.
If Karijja and Loreen did not compete...Noa would win. Hands down. Her song was everything a Eurovision audience loves. It was not my song of the night - Luke Black, that goes to you - but this was VERY close.
From the poppy vibes to the incredible dance break at the end (which she nearly broke into a straight out breakdown...)...she has everything a breakout star needs. I see her career going global after this. She was loads better then Netta who won a few years ago and still lost.
Just put that into perspective.
Great performance - the last great performance of the night.
8.8/10
Slovenia - Joker Out - Carpe Diem I heard nothing but great things about Bojan. And I came into this contest wit high expectations. And...they were not met.
The song was great. Really well wrote. But it seemed like they were playing to the camera as opposed to the crowd. And I wish they involved them more.
But that being said, Bojan has charisma, a great voice, and his band are very involved too. I can see these guys having a Måneskin like career if they continue this direction. But Bojan could break out at any minute if you ask me.
I also think the song was a bit too safe for them. I was expecting a more...funkier beat. This just felt like a FIFA Soundtrack level song.
7.8/10
Croatia - Let 3 - Mama SC I...
Look. I get this was a joke and sticking it to Putin but...
This was a straight up meme. A sh**post if you so wish. And I'm all for it but they threw away an entry.
The crowd seemed puzzled as well. As was I!
5/10
United Kingdom - Mae Muller - I Wrote A Song Oh Mae...
You wrote a song, yes. But it was terrible. Song structure, chorus, your vocals...this was not the song, Mae.
Again, I am using my platform to criticize my countries internal selection process. It's about time you stop looking at TikTok and go to local and national talent shows, gigs, even festivals. Once again, the selection committee picking a preferred song from personal bias over talent.
I could go on and on.
But I'm also using my platform to say the dancers were wicked and I would take the blonde guys number.
Back to the song!
I was dissapointed especially after Sam Ryder in 2022...but I expected this. I'm sorry Mae, I hope your well!
3.9/10
Voting opens, we get a recap, I go for a pee It is now time for the interval acts. During both previous runs, I missed these as I was probably on a booze run. So this was the first time I watched the interval.
Interval: Sam Ryder I never listened to Spaceman last year, so this is my first exposure to Sam. And after watching his song before watching this...I was impressed!
This is the first act the UK has sent to ESC in years I enjoyed, and this song would have been a contender...if the selection committee ran it back. But nope.
This was a smooth, catchy song that was highly enjoyable! A good interval act. And that guitar solo was better then Blanka's non existing solo.
Also Roger Taylor!!! Love that man.
8.5/10
We get a little cameo by Jan Leeming, the host of Eurovision back when it was hosted in my neck of the woods in Harrogate, way before I was born!!
Julia then cuts a little bit with displaced Ukrainians under the protection of the United Kingdom. It's actually really emotional, and i was moved by it! So glad we could do this for them.
Timor then meets with Alesha and I am so proud of these Ukrainians who performed under such horrible circumstances.
Another recap, another shot of tequila Interval: Liverpool Songbook NO RATING As I was born in the North East if England, I don't like Liverpool. But the music that Liverpool has produced is numerous and plentiful. So it was only right ESC decided to honour Liverpool's greats.
I love these Collab intervals!
Mahmood is out first and covers Imagine by the late, great, John Lennon. I was not a fan of this cover, but the original I highly rate. So that might be why.
The song then smoothly transitions to Netta who covers You Spin Me Right Round, and I forgot how great Netta is. She might have performed this better then Dead or Alive. I call for all Netta fans to be called 'Nettles'.
Next is Dadi Fryer with Whole Again by The Atomic Kittens. So, when I was a kid, I refused to go to bed without this song being played.
How did my dad not know I was gay, I don't know.
Anyway. This was a great cover! As always Dadi, blows it away. One of my fave Icelandic acts.
We then gert Cornelia Jakobs covering I Turn To You by the studio MC...Mel C. She even looks a lot like Mel C here! I was never a fan of this song, but Cornelia makes it fun at the very least! Very 90s look here, and she plays with water in a white tank top. So props to her for being comfortable with that!
We then get the return of one of United Kingdom's greatest acts and someone I had the privilege of meeting in 2022 whilst on holiday - Sonia, with her song Better The Devil You Know.
This was way before I got into ESC, but I saw her perform this song. And this was tons better then seeing her live! Also, cute dancers.
And finally, we get Duncan Lawrence cover You Will Never Walk Alone - the theme song for the legendary Liverpool FC. The entire crowd sang along with this, and we were joined by many, many, many personalities including Go_A, Hannah Waddingham, Julia, Alesha Dixon, Graham Norton, and so many more. And this rendition actually made me cry. I never cry at music.
Worthy of note, on the BBC Broadcast, at the end of this performance, Mel Geidroyc spams 'Sonia' constantly.
Was pretty funny.
End of review I won't bother reviewing the voting process, so thank you for reading my review! Before I go, I am handing out my awards;
The Johnny Logan MVP Award (best performer) - Karijja - Cha Cha Cha
Lordi Award For Best Headbanger (best metal or rock song) - Cha Cha Cha - Karijja
Best Solo Award - Promise - Voyager
Best Dance Break - Unicorn - Noa Kirel
Best Backup Dancers - I Wrote A Song - Mae Muller
The Alexander Rybak Award For Minimal Performance - Watergun - Remo Forrer
The Nil Pois Award For Worst Song of the Night - Sero Mi Se Spada - Luke Black.

The warm breeze swept across the field, rustling the golden stalks of wheat as the sun bathed the landscape in a radiant glow. A tall, heavily-built man, dark-skinned with work-worn hands, stood amidst the vast expanse, his heart pounding with a mix of confusion and wonder.
As he inhaled, a familiar scent filled his nostrils. Was that... home? His gaze shifted, scanning the surroundings until he caught sight of a group of individuals emerging from a shimmering portal. The sight of them took his breath away, his eyes widening with surprise.
"Starfire? Is that you?" His deep voice carried a tremor of disbelief as he called out, his words infused with a sense of hope mingled with uncertainty. He couldn't believe his eyes; the woman standing before him bore a striking resemblance to the Starfire he once knew, a fellow member of the superhero community. But now, she was a fully-fledged member of the Green Lantern Corps!
“John?”
His heart raced. He took a cautious step forward, his eyes never leaving her face. The sunlight glinted off his dark, weathered skin, accentuating the lines etched on his face from years of experience and battles fought. Clad in a black leather jacket as well as camouflage utility pants, he exuded a mix of ruggedness and determination.
Kory quickly wrapped her arms around his neck and squeezed tight. “We thought you were dead,” she whispered in his ear.
John's eyes widened as he heard the familiar voice, the name he thought he might never hear again. A surge of emotion overwhelmed him, and he closed his arms around her, enfolding her in a tight embrace.
Tears welled up in John's eyes as he held his friend, his grip conveying a mixture of relief, joy, and sorrow. The weight of the world and the torment of his absence seemed to dissipate, anchoring him to the present. His voice quivered with a mixture of gratitude and disbelief as he whispered into her ear, his words barely audible above the rustling of the wheat field.
"I'm here... I'm alive." His voice carried the weight of the countless moments he had yearned for this reunion; the ache of the void they had filled with unanswered questions.
As the group drew closer, John was able to make them out through his teary eyes. With Kory were Ganthet, Sodam Yat, Tomar-Tu, and Ch'p. His mind raced with questions and the need for answers. How had Starfire become a Green Lantern? Why was Ganthet with them? Where were the Guardians of the Universe? What in God's name had transpired during his absence?
The wheat field whispered into the wind, as if the very land held a story waiting to be unveiled. He was sure they had similar questions. John's eyes scanned the group, his gaze lingering on each individual. He sought familiarity, searching for any sign that would confirm that this was reality - not some intricate illusion.
In that moment, time seemed to stand still. The weight of the past five years pressed upon John's shoulders, mingling with a spark of renewed hope. The mystery of his absence and the potential reunion with old friends lay before him, entwined in the lush field and the enigma of the portal that had brought them together.
With bated breath, John Stewart braced himself for the answers that awaited, ready to confront the truth and uncover the reason for his absence in the first place. “What happened?”
“I was about to ask the same. Is that a... yellow ring?” Kory held his hand close, examining the unfamiliar artifact on his finger.
“We can exchange tales in the safety of shelter,” Ganthet reasoned, interrupting Kory before she could ask any more questions. “Do you have any, Lantern Stewart?”
“I do,” John responded. “I'll take you there, but we need to move quickly - the sun is waning, and the shadow beasts are more active at night.”
Ganthet nodded and John began to lead the group through the field of wheat. Before she followed, Kory looked up into the cloudless sky. She squinted her eyes at the crescent sun. The sight filled her with a sense of foreboding as the dark disk inched closer and closer to the light's edge, as though it were a harbinger of struggles to come.
The five Lanterns funneled behind John into the small, sparse cabin. He apologized for the lack of seating, offering one of two plainly crafted chairs to Ganthet. Tomar sat in the other, and it looked like John was going to say something, but ultimately decided to turn away and light a fire under the stove. Ganthet beckoned John close as warmth filled the cabin. His voice was filled with a mix of solemnity and compassion. "Before anything else, there is a tale that must be told—a tale of betrayal and darkness that unfolded five years ago."
John took a deep breath. Five years ago, he and Guy Gardner had been trapped in the Antimatter Universe. That was when they had lost contact with the Corps. Steeling himself for the weight of what was about to be revealed, he nodded silently, eyes fixed upon Ganthet, urging him to go on.
Ganthet's gaze held a deep sadness as he began, his voice measured and laden with the weight of the past. "It was a time of great and sudden turmoil, John. Hal Jordan, once a beacon of hope and your fellow Green Lantern, was consumed by grief and anger. Blaming the Justice League for the destruction of his beloved Coast City, he turned against those he once called allies.”
John's heart sank, the memories of the camaraderie he shared with Hal flooding back. "What did he do, Ganthet?" he whispered, his voice filled with a mix of anticipation and dread.
"He unleashed his fury upon them," Ganthet continued, his voice growing heavy with sorrow. "In his misguided quest for power, Hal took the lives of Lantern Rayner, Wonder Woman and Batman."
John clenched his fists, the pain of losing Kyle coursing through him. But he remained silent, urging Ganthet to reveal the full extent of the tragedy.
"His rampage did not stop there," Ganthet recounted, his voice trembling under the weight of revelation. "Lantern Jordan, now calling himself Parallax, driven by his desperation to rewrite reality and undo his perceived failures, turned against the Green Lantern Corps itself. With a destructive fury, he annihilated all but seven Lanterns, obliterating their rings and leaving our once-mighty Corps in ruins."
The room seemed to grow colder, the air thick with the bitterness of betrayal. John's eyes burned with unshed tears, his heart heavy with the knowledge of the devastation wrought by someone he had once trusted implicitly. Ganthet's gaze never wavered, his voice filled with empathy as he concluded, "That, Lantern Stewart, is the tragic tale of Hal Jordan's betrayal—the fall of a hero we all once held dear."
John sat in stunned silence, his mind grappling with the enormity of the revelation. The weight of loss and shattered trust settled upon him, fueling a mix of grief, anger, and determination within him. Ganthet reached out, resting his hand gently on John's shoulder, offering solace and support.
"I understand the burden you now carry, John," he said softly. "But it is in the face of such darkness that true heroes emerge. The path ahead may be treacherous, but together, we will seek justice for the fallen and restore hope to our shattered Corps."
As the room enveloped them in a heavy silence, John looked at Ganthet's Green Lantern-stylized robes. “Is that why...?”
Ganthet confirmed solemnly
“And that ring, it was Kyle's?” John asked Kory, who nodded silently. “I see.”
As a solemn quiet enveloped the room, all eyes turned to John. The revelation of Hal Jordan's betrayal was a wound still raw, the loss cutting deep. The flickering fire cast a gentle, haunting glow over his face, adding gravity to the story he was about to share. John Stewart's stoic countenance wavered for a moment. His gaze was dark, full of untold stories. He opened his mouth to speak, and the tale he wove carried them back in time, taking them through the labyrinth of his memories.
"I suppose it's my turn, then. Five years ago," he began, his voice resonating with a haunting echo, "Guy and I were in pursuit of Sinestro. We entered the Antimatter Universe, expecting to face challenges, sure. But nothing prepared us for what lay ahead."
His eyes dropped to the worn floorboards, lost in painful recollection. "We were met with an ambush. We barely managed to escape, finding solace in the hidden crevices of one of the planetoids in this realm. It was then that we tried to call the Corps...but got nothing."
Silence fell like a shroud, consuming the space between his words as he allowed them to digest this piece of his past. The Green Lantern Corps' moment of great crisis, leaving them stranded in the Antimatter Universe. His expression hardened as he continued, his voice barely more than a whisper. "We tried to initiate contact several times over the course of hours, but our rings... they were being constantly drained. With no means to make a portal, and no way to recharge, we slowly lost power. I still remember the moment my ring went dark. It felt as if a part of me was wrenched away. Not long after, Guy's ring lost power too. We were left alone, on a world filled with death and desolation."
John's voice carried a grimness that bespoke the harsh realities he'd faced. “The Antimatter Universe has a way of sapping hope, of painting a picture bleaker than the darkest night. As the Yellow Lanterns began their relentless patrols in search of us, the threat of discovery loomed like a storm cloud.
“A new determination took root in Guy, like a second wind. He came up with a plan," John confessed, a hint of a smile playing on his lips at the memory of Guy's fierce nature. "He wanted to use the unstable gravity of this universe, to launch himself towards a Yellow Lantern. He hoped that we could channel our remaining willpower and then focus it into one all-out attack from above."
The room went quiet as they hung on his words. "It was risky, insane even," John admitted, "but we were out of options. And with the Corps gone silent, we didn't know what awaited us back on Oa."
He paused, his gaze taking in each of the faces in the room, reflecting the gravity of their situation. He drew in a deep breath, continuing with an intensity that held them all captive. "I can still remember the adrenaline, the desperation, and the dread. We both knew it was a long shot, but Guy... he was ready. God, you should have seen him."
The silence stretched out once again, a hushed expectation hanging heavy in the air as they waited for him to continue. The crackle of the fire was the only sound in the otherwise silent room.
"So, I threw him,” John stated, the words punctuating the silence. His gaze became distant, reliving the moment. “I gave Guy all of the power I could muster. When he came face to face with Arkillo, and made a construct? The bang was like the blast of a rifle. I had to duck and cover my ears, but I was able to hear his ring speak.”
The room fell silent as the gravity of his words sank in. Everyone was hanging on to his every word, their gazes fixated on John as they awaited the words his friend's ring had spoken.
“What did the ring say?” Ganthet inquired, his eyes intensely focused on John. The elder Lantern's voice was a soft murmur in the room, adding an air of anticipation.
John cleared his throat, preparing himself for the words that had been echoing in his head since that moment.
“Guy Gardner, you have the ability to overcome great injustice.”
“Welcome, Golden Lantern.”

2023.06.08 02:49 bluechipmunk1225 Any Thai/English textbook for learning Isan language?
Hi, sorry if this question is out of place. I got banned from
Thailand 3 years ago for making fun of a video of Chinese tourists literally pissing on the BTS skytrain.
My gf is from Ubon, and when she speaks Isan I only understand around 10-20% of what she says. Any educational books that I can buy in Asia Book / Kinokuniya or other bookstores? Thai or English book is fine, but English would be preferred

2023.06.08 02:23 EntropicPenguin Hyper Advanced Techniques In Combatting Ruzzian Disinformation
To many of us, NAFO is a place to make memes that bonk on Ruzzia cause it makes them look bad and boosts the moral of our brothers and sisters fighting in Ukraine. This is good, keep it up.
What I want to discuss, is how we can use the cyberspace to cause massive impacts with regards to undermining Ruzzian propaganda and by extension, support for the Ruzzian regime.
The topics I will discuss will make this post quite lengthy and it may seem on the surface that the points I a making are irrelevant or that I am taking a very long winded approach in order to get to the ultimate points I am making - but I will do my best to communicate the key components of each topic and why they are all related.
If that's okay with you, read on and buckle up - we're going to be covering a lot of intermediate and heavy topics first before we can get to the good stuff.
--------
Before we get started, I want to give you my perspective on how I see the World, the Universe and everything around me (yes, just bare with me...).
The Universe is this great big mathematical object. I theorised this some years ago, only to realise that a much better physicist than myself had the same idea with far superior backing and research for the theory than I ever could have applied (The Mathematical Universe Hypothesis - Max Tegmark, 2014).
The best that we can observe is that there are these little spikes of data representing what we understand to be subatomic atomic particles from the Standard Model within these spaces called "Quantum Fields". Actually - these particles aren't so much individual particles themselves, the particle
is the excitation in that Quantum field. These excitations follow very rigorous mathematical laws - they won't change unless there is some external stimuli that affects them. When these excitations coalesce due to the physical laws of our Universe, we say that these particles have formed larger structures such as Pions, Hadrons and even Atoms. These atoms go on to form larger structures such as planets, stars, cellular life and the human brain.
All this is to impress upon you the idea that everything,
absolutely everything, is the product of mathematical determinism. Even if we consider the probabilistic nature that Quantum Mechanics implies, this is in itself is a deterministic construct if we were to consider that probabilities are determined by the nature of the events leading up to the new event as yet to be determined - further, many scientists reason that this is evidence for a "Multiverse theory". Personally, I speculate that the probabilistic appearance of the Quantum world is indicative of axial dimensions that are additional to the classical x, y, z, t dimensions most of us are probably use to.
Regardless, the point remains. You do not have free will. No matter how much you may or may not want to believe it - Everything you are, everything you believe, everything you know, is a product of everything else that has happened before you.
"If the moon, in the act of completing its eternal way around the earth, were gifted with self-consciousness, it would feel thoroughly convinced that it was traveling its way of its own accord on the strength of a resolution taken once and for all. So would a Being, endowed with higher insight and more perfect intelligence, watching man and his doings, smile about man's illusion that he was acting according to his own free will." - Albert Einstein
The "decisions" you make are not so much a choice you ever really had, but the manifestation of the synapses in your brain responding to external stimulation.

To think about the Brain for our purposes, we need to think about it as a physical object. This object, and the conclusions it makes about the world around it, can be influenced, guided, manipulated and/or programmed. In a funny sort of a way it
can kind of be thought of as a computer...
We are the products of our environmental conditioning - the events of everything that has happened before us and all the events that have shaped our experiences, make us who we are
today.
Nature plays its part of course,
nurture is nature. Both genetics and epigenetics will play significant roles in how we interact with the world; but consider this:
If a baby born to Chinese parents were to be adopted at birth and raised in Houston, Texas, will they speak English or Mandarin? I suspect that they will probably end up speaking English with a thick Texan accent, and that they may also find it difficult to identify many persons of Chinese origin due to a lack of exposure they have had to Asiatic faces.
“Give me just one generation of youth, and I'll transform the whole world.” - Vladimir Lenin
The stimuli that affects the brain can come from all forms of external sources. It will manifest itself by the way that we literally sense the world - every sight we see, every sound we hear, every smell, every touch, every temperature variable, every pattern we recognise. Recognising this and understanding how this relates to shaping the very experiences and views that people have of the world is the key to understanding how and why people believe what they believe.

Belief is a natural product of human evolution. There are no papers on this - this is my own theory, but I would bank a lot of money on it if I had any.
Imagine a hypothetical scenario in cave man times to keep things simple. Tribe A and Tribe B are at war with each other. Tribe A aren't the most abstract of thinkers, but they are all united on a common belief that Tribe B are "bad dumb-dumbs" that need their heads bonking. Tribe B, meanwhile, are arguing and debating amongst themselves about the ethics in their approach to fighting Tribe A and about who's method amongst themselves is the best to be adopted when dealing with the Tribal War Issue. Unless Tribe B can be unanimous and expedient in developing their strategy for dealing with Tribe A, then their advantage of greater capacity for abstract thought will be rendered effectively useless - Tribe A will wipe the floor with them (I'm looking at you Ancient Greece).
Human beings, for the most part, have a natural propensity for adopting belief systems irrespective of irrefutable evidence. Evolution does not require you to consistently choose and believe the objective truth. Evolution only cares that you adopt the strategy that is most likely to increase your survival, and more specifically, the survival of your group whom are likely to share similar genetic material as you. Belief, regardless of objective truth, is therefore a survival strategy in and of itself - the underlying strategy of which being to obtain social unity and cohesion.
In reality, a groups survival will depend upon a multitude of factors - but this survivability will increase if that group has many different members more capable of different skills and different kinds of abstract reasoning. It's why the concept of "Time and Motion" works, why the cells in our bodies all function to serve unique purposes, why symbiotic relationships in the animal kingdom work so effectively... Our collective capabilities, and therefore our odds of survival, are increased when individual members are able to specialise in areas the group as a whole can benefit from. We are very much a social animal - Mother Nature has dictated that we should be this way.
[As a side note: This also adds into my theory for why Autism in many is not so much a disability, but rather an evolutionary strategy that makes the neurological trade-off in the autist themselves that sacrifices social capabilities for increased pattern recognition and abstract awareness. Their social skills are not required if the group is well off enough and able to take care of them - the autistic person is able to provide a level of abstract thought and reasoning that can provide technology with the capability of increasing the groups probability of survival massively.]
For more information on this topic, I thoroughly recommend this Ted-talk on

"Neuro-Linguistic Programming" (or simply "NLP") is, more or less, an applied science on how language and communication techniques can be used to influence (other people as well as ourselves). It is a "science"* that is exploited immensely in the fields of sales and marketing (*long story, some people hold the opinion it is a pseudo-science). NLP is used by psychologists and hypnotists and what it boils down to is the idea that communication techniques (as well as the utilisation of intelligently placed external stimuli) can be used to influence people into certain ways of thinking.
NLP can be used, and has been used, to alleviate people of their phobias. NLP is used to provide therapy for people to overcome trauma and depression. NLP is used to sell products. NLP can be used to convince people into sleeping with you. NLP can be used to manipulate large swathes of people into believing what you want them to believe. NLP can be used to elicit emotions like happiness, sadness, anger and practically any other emotion you can think of. It is used to achieve results. It is used, by those with the inclination to do so, as a means to achieve the outcomes from people that they themselves want to see in them. The most common use of NLP is in by making you believe that a choice you've made is the result of your deciding on a matter, and not the result of some smart fucker hacking into your neurological programming.
NLP is a tool. It is neither good nor bad. How it is used provides the basis for our own subjections as to whether something has been used for "Good" or "Evil".
Remember that the brain is just an object that is malleable and can be influenced by external stimuli? This is what it is about. Along with another field called
Behavioral Economics, NLP is about controlling the perceptions and behavior of people - Behavioral Economics is the same thing but on a large scale. Just as Sales is to the Marketeer, NLP is to the Behavioral Economist.

This is propaganda. Now do you understand me? The underlying objective is to assist the propagandist in their (or their Masters') objective to attain, or retain control of, Power. The means by which they do this is by calculating the most effective ways to achieve the results that most fit their desired outcome. Do we want more people to quit smoking? Let's make legislation so that packs of cigarettes must have NSFL imagery on them so more people have an adverse negative reaction and association to it. Do we want Western nations to be divided so as to undermine their internal security? Let's pump out reactionary memes and propaganda to outrage the people and polarise the population into demonizing "the other side".
"Divide et Impera" - Latin: Divide and Rule - sometimes translated as "Divide and Conquer", Antiquity
Do we want to win the election by any means necessary irrespective of the values of freedom and democracy? Let's use AI technology to send out specific messages via social media designed to bring about strong emotional responses in those with the potential to be galvanized to voting in our favour, and other messages designed to make those who would vote against us apathetic to the voting process.*
"The greatest danger to our future is apathy." - Jane Goodall
[*This actually happened in 2016 during the Brexit and Trump Election campaigns using technology by a company called Cambridge Analytica - it's a wild story in and of itself, so check it out if it interests you.]
Do we want to convince the population that, what would otherwise be considered an unjustified war, is entirely necessary for our defense and security?
9/11 Let's blow up an some apartment blocks, kill hundreds of civilians, and use this as a justification to invade Chechnya!
Minds can be controlled. People can be manipulated. The results of these manipulations have real world effects and are very much considered by top military analysts as being major components of modern warfare along with other little known dimensions of conflict such as espionage, economic and political interference.

What happens when you train an Artificial Intelligence algorithm into identifying and producing propaganda unique to an individual?
To do this effectively, you'd need data... a lot of data... petabytes upon petabytes of data... both to train the AI algorithm in identifying the psychological makeup of a person and to train the algorithm into understanding what kinds and forms of stimuli are going to be most effective when trying to influence this kind of person. How would you do this? You'd need some kind of platform with an unfathomable amount of human resources.
Now imagine you have an application, with the
structural architecture for keylogging, that aggressively
harvests data from users phones, with a known history to
censor content critical of authoritarian regimes, and has over
1 Billion active monthly users...
... what do you think they're going to be using all that data for?
For the love of all that is
FUCKING good in this world.
STOP. USING. TIKTOK. ---
We are up against individuals who are hellbent on their own power. These people will use the technology I have discussed to manipulate as many people as possible in ways that most suit them. They will divide us. They will make us apathetic, or they will galvanize us into blindly supporting policies or actions that suit them. Their fight is for control over hearts and minds - they had no intention of alleviating you of your chains, only replacing them with shackles they alone hold the key to.
---
By all means, carry on bonking vatniks with your clubs and your sticks when they carelessly wonder upon our turf - I certainly don't object... but I have the basis for a toolkit to help you develop highly accurate strategic information missiles to help you make significant impacts in the places where it most matters.
When you are making memes to combat Ruzzian disinformation, think about who the meme is for... is the meme for other fellas so we can fratbro with each other confirming what we already know and how great we all are? Well, you'd be preaching to the crowd... ofc we're fucking awesome! We haven't necessarily convinced anyone else of that though and we might have even pissed off some vatniks hard enough they want to go out there way to use slimey techniques to underhand us...
Maybe the memes we make could be aimed at those who are falling victim to Ruzzian (and Chinese) propaganda... maybe we could take a calculated approach to consider exactly what is going to be most effective method in dispelling the beliefs held by those who are sympathetic to Ruzzia. Maybe we can talk to people in such a way that gets them to change their minds.
Remember: the mind is malleable - it is a programmable object, we're not trying to program people with our own ideas, we are trying to alleviate people that have had virus's infect theirs.
---
We don't have to be looking at those spouting Ruzzian bs like vile creatures and enemies... if you're friend had a brain tumour, would you hate your friend or the cancer? (Fuck Cancer).
There's a good chance we will be more effective with removing the cancer from peoples minds if we adopt a position that is explicitly non-hostile. Imagine, from their point of view, what it would be to convince them to rethink their world-view. For the vast majority of those on the opposing side, they will need a way out accepting that they have done wrong in their lives without fear of being treated as a pariah (this is why the forgiveness and "born-again" narrative works so well for so many religions) - of course we want to treat them like pariahs because of the hurt we and our people have endured; but I ask you, what is better: hating on someone who is helping to push the Ruzzian narrative or letting it go and maybe having one less vatnik to worry about?
Our true enemies after all are those pulling the strings on the marionettes we see before us. To them, we should also be measured since they are likely calculated but with their own interests in mind.
---
To develop the perfect memes for our cause, you need to consider:
- What is going to have the most impact?
- What will spread to the most amount of people?
- What will have the greatest likelihood of alleviating our side from apathy?
- What will have the biggest impact in dispelling the beliefs of those who might be sympathetic to the other side? What will make them question the legitimacy of the false narratives they have been told?
When dealing with victims of Vatnik propaganda in person, you need to let them know that you are their friend and not like all the propaganda has led them to believe about you. Be NICE!
You can use techniques from NLP in order to communicate more effectively, but do it responsibly, it is not a tool to be abused.
In time I will try and develop this system so it is easier and more succinct to follow for your regular everyday normal fella. For now, and for those of you who have been brave enough to read this far, I have given you the underlying framework for understanding how communication can be used as a tool to directing people into a directed frame of thinking.
What I'm really trying to impose upon you more than anything else is the idea that we should be thinking strategically about our methods for addressing the issues of Ruzzian disinformation. Consider exactly what it is you want to achieve in combating misinformation and calculate the most effective means of communication in order to achieve it.
