No eyeball Joe just died and flopped down like that in the Roman Tunnels? There may be more, I am not finished with the game, but it was just kind of funny to me to have that humongous buildup and then he just gets capped in 2 seconds lol

2023.06.08 06:52 DerryBrewer Best statement since CES Letter

Thank you Joe for voicing so perfectly the issues that makes us distrust the Church and its leaders. It was very validating and also cathartic to listen to.
And thank you for sharing this with us and on Radio Free Mormon (episode 283).
I also appreciate and feel your heartfelt emotions at the end of the statement. I wish I could play this to my wife at some time.
Now I’m looking for is there is possible a transcript of your statement so I can save it on my phone or print it out.
Thank you again.
(For those of you that don’t know what I’m talking about it was from a conversation and meeting Joe recently had with church historian Kyle McKay)

2023.06.08 06:38 The_Flying_Failsons Can we Get a UFO episode?

There's some weird shit going on in the world right now, "Soft disclosure" as they call it has been going on since Tom Delonge's (Yes, from Blink 182) founded To The Stars Academy which leaked the Tic Tac UFO. What was so important about that is that same UFO appears in a ton of UFO stories that were previously dismissed as nuttiness.
More recently, investigative reporter Jeremy Corbell revealed a two-year investigation on a triangular UFO photographed and seen clearly by hundreds of people flying over a marine base in the Mojave desert.
This actually has similarities with the Rendelsham Forest Incident in Sufolk, England. A major parallel seems to be that the UFOs appear close to either big bodies of water or nuclear sites like the Mojave desert and Rendelsham.
Some time ago the New York Times reported about there being a warehouse somewhere in Vegas that houses materials gathered from crashed UFOs, that coupled with an whistle-blower now saying that the US has retrieved a craft of non-human origin and that it's on an arms race with China to reverse-engineer the crafts.
George Knapp and Jeremy Corbell would be great guests for the pod. Think about it, if all this shit turns out to be true, you want people like Joe Rogan or Tucker at the forefront of it?

2023.06.08 06:34 stirrrr Am i the asshole? venting/need advice

i constantly feel neglected in my relationship. we have been together for 5 years and he tends to prioritize his friends over me. i'm not saying he can't spend it with his friends but the time frame seems a bit unfair and such overkill.
we're in a semi-long distance relationship, we barely see eachother for personal reasons. so we make time to hangout at night (since this is what works for us) through facetime. lately, it has been such a problem because i barely get to hangout with him because he's been dedicated to his friends. his day is dedicated to what he wants to do and it usually falls into gaming and spending it with his friends, i've calculated the hours and it falls down to around 8-10 hours on his time/friends. my calculated time is just 6-8 hours (on a good day) but sometimes it's only 3 hours or even just a good 45 minutes. my time is constantly being split into half and it gets frustrating because imagine you're looking forward to spending it with your SO and they don't feel the same, it becomes disappointing and such a let down. meanwhile on my end it seems like he cannot get enough of his friends, borderline obsessed maybe? the only time that i've noticed he voluntarily gets off is if either he knows he messed up or none of his friends are online or bored of the same game or has some form of bodily discomfort or just that one in a blue moon of wanting to hangout with me.
a couple of days ago, i've been noticing that our texts have become shorter and shorter and also dry. i just don't apply that much pressure by complaining daily and getting his attention to respond, so i usually just push it to the side and keep it moving. but on that day, it had been 5 hours and i haven't heard from him and i know what he's doing but it's also that he's actively sending tiktoks or liking posts on twitter but seems to be incapable of responding. i got upset and basically pushed him off and stopped responding. the next day i was still salty and we haven't texted at all that day but he's active on snapchat and twitter. not a word on my end. he called me but i didn't pick up because it seemed like bull since you've gone comfortably going about your day without saying a word. so i've been giving him the same energy and it seems that he got upset about it.
again it just seems unfair that he has all his time and energy towards other things/friends but it seems like i'm getting scrap, leftovers.
i know i'm going to get responses within the "break up with him" spectrum but i'm in it for the long run just don't want the easy way out. all relationships have different problems.
what should i do? i've given him solutions on how to better manage time but it just seems that it only works for a couple of days/weeks then it's back to square one.

2023.06.08 06:30 Mondaredd Changing style due to power

So I need advice, I’m 19, 5’10 with 72” reach and will be fighting as a middle weight. I am pretty good at fighting on the inside, it’s my strong suit, issue is I got power like Devin Haney.. I can hurt the average joe but some of these guys just walk through my punches, coach says I have good form and I put a lot into my punches and am decently accurate. Smaller hands and wrists probably affect my power but who knows, anyways it’s making me think I should become a defensive fighter. Im alright on the outside/back foot but nothing like the inside, but if these dudes can hard spar with me and eat my punches no matter how good I land is it even worth fighting on the inside? Should I go down/up in weight? Change style? Anything helps as this is bothering me and I won’t be in gym for awhile (personal issues) so I have time to think.

2023.06.08 06:24 Ok_Lobster_3166 Can a player be waived, have their money be stretched off in the distant future, and then resign for less money?

I’m looking at this Chris Paul waived news and I don’t know what to believe lol. Some people are saying he will resign for the vet min after being waived (which we don’t even know if he is)but I thought after the Lakers Stanley Johnson thing you have to wait a year.
And even then, what’s the point of this? Isn’t this technically cap circumvention and an against the rules? What’s the difference between doing this and what the Timberwolves did with Joe Smith 20 years ago ?

2023.06.08 06:20 Clocksflyingking I wish the characters talked about the fact they originally had completely different lives

One of the things I wish the show explored was the fact the characters lived completely different lives. They talk about this for one episode when they find out but never really explore it. Its almost like they didn’t even care. Even if it was something small like Barry, Iris and Joe talking about how Thawne mentioned Nora was originally named Dawn. There was so much cool stuff to explore here but unfortunately they never did.
Hopefully they do a HBO series in the future called “Flash Earth 0” or something where they can explore this more.

Oh Pebbles Out There With Her Scam Story, Someone Go Slap Her With These Receipts.
Rodeo, you weren't even involved yet here you are running that trap mouth and believing a meth head with open warrants LMFAO!! Great, well while you are speaking on shit you don't know, please tell me WHY THE FUCK I AM RESPONSIBLE for paying for a DIME of her trip when she claimed DV and I dropped everything to help her. She was perfectly happy making TikTok after TikTok all the way to Kentucky. Annnd? I volunteered and when asked "What do you need RT?" It was money to get there and BACK!!! Not drop her the fuck off. The money was meant for BOTH OF US TO EAT! Whhut the fuck is wrong with you two? At no point in time did I EVER do anything but volunteer to drive. Your new buddy Sara can confirm all of this. Maybe you should talk to Kacey, the girl who came to actually alert me of the entire situation. Again, something I was HELPLING A SO CALLED ABUSED WOMAN FOR backfired for fucking Tik Tok clout. Convenient that wedding is this weekend and she's short money. Out here making TikTok click bait. Cool bitches. Here's the truth. Are ya'll hitting that meth pipe? Here's the receipts..I don't know what to tell you dumbasses. But ya look big fucking stupid, greedy and totally ungrateful. I ain't done a damn thing to you but call you out on your scamming ass BS.
Now you're calling the cops cause I am supposedly reaching out to your ex? The FUCK I AM GIRL. Jesus Christ anything for Tik Tok money for those bills you two. I don't have enough time in my day to give a fuck to reach out to them. You're ignorant. You hiding for real? You don't get on social media. Plain and simple. You ain't gonna find proof of that, and you're gonna have to have it. You had a friend reveal your location to him and we all know it. You came into my chat upset over it and conning Holly to come stay with you so she can pay your fucking bills. I'll be sitting here waiting for the cops and allllll these invisible charges you heifer. Keep stomping your feet and huffing that nose like a raging bull, you may make enough for all those bills but I certainly ain't gonna give you shit, I can PROVE I DON'T OWE YOU A FUCKING THING. Can't delete those transactions heifer.
