2023.06.08 06:25 sugaredsnickerdoodle Tips for Tama V5

Hi everyone,
I might sound a bit stupid here but I'm mostly new to all the tamagotchi stuff. I grew up playing all 3 tamagotchi corner shop games on my DS but that was about it. I had a tamagotchi as a kid but I didn't really attend to it much. I have been wanting to actually play with one recently and I remembered my sister awhile back gave me a box of my old stuff I left behind when I moved out, and there were a couple tamagotchis in there. They weren't mine, they were hers, but she doesn't seem to care. I have the guitar style Music Star V5 and I'm wondering if there are any good tips for it. I also have a V4 but I'm not sure what to do with it right now because I realized my sister's old tama is still alive on it right now and I don't know if I want to reset it or not. But my main concern with the V5 I'm playing is it dying if I am not paying good attention to it or becoming a nuisance. Perhaps that's like, the worst thing you could say in a tamagotchi community lol but I have ADHD and a poor sleep cycle so I'm worried about accidentally killing it or being woken up in the middle of the night. It's just evolved into a kuchi-tama-tchi now and I want to continue to take good care of it. He's sleeping right now but I read somewhere they wake up at 7AM? Should I set the clock differently so that it better aligns with my sleep schedule? If anyone has good experience with V5 I would appreciate any helpful care tips and if there are any secrets I should know about. I've never been good at figuring out game secrets on my own, I always have to google it. Thanks for any help~ sorry if this is the wrong way to post here, like I said I'm very new to the tama stuff 😭

2023.06.08 06:25 AvainTheHylian Olympus Hope

There are allways these Hopes and Rumors that Digimon Story Olympus is a verry big Budget Title for Bandai Namco.
If they really want to do something like that then maybe we see it at Summer Games Fest. (If not maybe another bigger Event) Because it wouldn't be just a "Fans will love it" Title for something like Digimon Con
It would be a "We will impress everyone" Title which would need a Reveal in a Show where everyone is watching
Maybe make a Trailer like this: Carefully hide that it's Digimon at first. Like with them slightly off Camera and some Hand picked Voice over. Maybe include something in that Part only Fans understand. And when the People are curious: Namedrop the Franchise or show a Digimon. Then the Trailer is really starting

2023.06.08 06:25 SideFair27 Is it too late for me to learn DSA

I started my CS journey in my 11th grade and went with the academic curriculum learning C++ and Python in my 12th grade. Wasn't actually aware of DSA right then and jumped straight into Development side. Currently I'm in my junior year in college and really feel bad that I've not started it earlier. Now that I see so many of them posting their Leetcode and Codechef streak of solving problems, it is too late for me to start learning in a full-fledge?
It's true that the topics were covered in academics but as you all know we never care about academics until the exam comes nearer.
Also how much time it takes to learn & become a complete pro in problem solving?
Ik there're many tech influencers in YouTube talking stuffs but I want to hear real answers from y'all. Thanks.

2023.06.08 06:24 Doomncandy I need a job

My dad had a stroke and I took care of him for over a year.
submitted by Doomncandy to Sacramento [link] [comments]

2023.06.08 06:24 jasmineoolongchai It's been over a year, and a lot has changed. I'm not in a good place.

Trigger warning: Death, dying, suicidal thoughts

A little over a year ago, my significant other and my best friend were involved in an accident caused by a drunk driver that took their lives. I wasn't doing well for obvious reason and moved states to be closer to family. I started a new job, moved back into my family house as an adult, and left a job I loved and had worked up the ladder since I finished my post-graduate studies. Earlier last year, I also lost my grandmother who had supported me blindly and had the ultimate faith in all the decisions I made.
Logically, I understand that I have undergone so many different forms of stress in the past year. On top of that, I recently was dismissed from my new position for reasons concerning my religious beliefs that I do not wish to bring up. Yes, it is certainly something I could seek legal action against the employer, but I do not want to become blacklisted in the employment world as there are many nearby that all talk. I do see a psychiatrist for medication management, and was in therapy and thought I was doing better.
However, as of late, within the last month, I cannot stop crying and my heart is aching, and I just want to pick up the phone and call one of them to tell them about my day. It feels almost as painful as the day I got the phone call. I feel like I've completely regressed in all the healing I've managed to achieve in the last 14 months. I've been told that grief is like a circle, some days you will be at the top and completely okay, and some days you will be at the bottom, feeling the worst you ever had. I've felt like their families are doing so well, and they have stopped reaching out checking in or sharing their hardships and wins, unless I am the one to send something. My family never supported my relationship with my SO, because he wasn't traditionally educated, and struggled and overcame problems concerning addiction. That never changed my love for him, and I was incredibly proud of how far he'd come and changed his life around. My best friend was my soul sister; she could always read my mind, and quite literally, was always there for me. We had so many adventures together, and grew so much together, in life and in the professional world.
I have never been able to grieve at my family home due to the lack of acceptance and empathy and acceptance for the losses I have endured. It is strictly a cultural reaction. My family did not support my lifestyle and I do not fault my them for that; they have plenty of generational trauma to sort through themselves, and have been working very hard to overcome that and meet me at a middle ground, as I have been raised "American" with different cultural values they were raised with. They're doing their best and I love them for that. However, it doesn't help me at all to force myself strong all the time, and to put up a front on social media and make it look like everything is okay. I'd be lying if I didn't say that I wish I could take my life. That's the point I am at now. Legitimately, the only things holding me back are my two cats, whom I cherish with every ounce of my soul. Those who have animals will understand when I say the unconditional love and affection and trust these animals have, is like no other. I know nobody would ever be able to give them the care and attention that I do, and would never DREAM of putting them in a position where they didn't have me.
The smallest things render me to tears and a lump in my throat-- seeing posts about the animal shelter nearby begging for fosters or rescues to help before they have to euthanize an animal; movies like Mrs Harris Goes to Paris, because a woman that elderly shouldn't have to be working as a housemaid; homeless people asking for food or help finding employment; mentally ill people I've come across when I volunteer at the local food pantry who aren't receiving the support they need. I have constant anxiety that my mum or dad is going to get hurt or have a health event, and die. I legitimately panic and cry to even think about the loss of them. I've also had outbursts of anger at home, and I cannot stop feeling like the Universe is out to get me. I don't know what kind of test this is, because I feel as though I am failing miserably.
I hurt, guys. I have tried to get back into the dating world, but am filled with anxiety and always try to find faults in any prospect I come across. I have been receiving comments from my family e.g. "It's time to get married now," "It would be so nice to have a grand baby," all stuff that I feel is valid and expected of me at my age. And, I do want to get married and have children eventually. My biological clock is quite literally, ticking. I just don't know how to fix my broken heart. I want to get better, but I don't know how. No amount of therapy has helped me figure this part out, and I'm struggling. Just wanted to get feedback or advice from anyone who has felt like they're in the basement of rock bottom and can't find the stairs or windows to get out.

2023.06.08 06:23 Icy_Possession_5146 Full-Time Offer after Declining Internship

I declined an internship offer from KPMG for the summer of 2022 to do another internship instead and then applied for a full-time position the year after and was rejected. Does getting rejected for full-time have anything to do with declining the internship? I did apply for a different role (data science) for full-time than for the internship (Deal Advisory Strategy), and I did have a noticeable drop in my grades/GPA even though they were above the minimum requirements at the time of the full-time application.
Also, does Big4 care about individual grades or overall GPA? I had some pretty bad grades (C- and C) in some classes, but my cumulative overall GPA was fine (3.7).

2023.06.08 06:23 NaturalBonus Why would choice based games highlight to the player which of their choices will have consequences in the future?

Telltale is notorious for this (Character X will remember this) and I never understood why any game with choice-making as a primary gameplay loop would do something like this, is it to aid the player in making an informed decision? Because all it does to me is break my immersion. Choices as gameplay is usually in the realm of RPGs, Visual Novels or even Adventure Games, it's usually games who are heavier in story than in gameplay but there's also games like Spec Ops the Line who have a good balance between gameplay and story, what I'm saying is that people who play choice based games usually play them for the story, to get immersed in it.
I want to make games but I currently have zero experience with game design, I love good choice based games and this has always been a confusing point to me cause from my player perspective it seems like such a baffling design choice. It doesn't make the story more immersive so any benefit would have to be on the gameplay side, I can only guess that this is done to help players understand which choice is connected with which consequence and also aid players who are replaying the game. But is the sacrifice really worth it?
There's a game called Heaven's Vault which leans heavily into choice, there's mountains of dialogue trees but the connection between each choice and consequence only becomes clear when you play the game again and choose something different because the game never chimes in to say the choice I just made will have repercursions in the future, I found that to be much more engaging than the Telltale style, I don't know which choice actually matters to the story so I try to pick each of them carefully, I just subconsciously assume that all of them will have consequences even though that's probably not true.
So why would games with an enphasis on choices use this feature?

2023.06.08 06:22 SimplyCurious- Red đŸš©(Mormon Mutual)

I met a guy through a dating app called mutual. I don’t have much dating experience. However, I know what I want and don’t want. I took a year off dating after my engagement fell through to process my feelings and heal. My past relationship was healthy. He just needed more time for himself. We are still friends.
Anyway, this new guy I met on Mutual seemed promising, handsome, charming and all the red flags you can think off in the first week of talking stage. The first night we met 10 minutes into knowing each other he trauma dumped his whole life. Why? I don’t know. I swear I was never seeing him again after because what he confessed was something I never wanted to involve myself with. However, he kept trying to communicate and was kind and pretended to be everything I was looking for ofcourse. I was like what the hell let’s see, what’s the worst that can happen? I gave it a chance. I couldn’t find friends in mutual but eventually found someone we both knew (his ex wife) already sounds messy but I promise it was a coincidence. Our dates went well. He was going too fast, fake futuring, hypersexual, clingy and gave signs of jealous type. Suddenly, after reaching his objective ( u know) he stopped being clingy. He realized we “went too fast and was scared” lol. Yup the typical avoidant, unavailable man. I immediately felt sick to my stomach because I knew this was over. He would randomly call me and disappear stating he was busy bla bla. I couldn’t believe that this was actually happening but as a result of my poor judgment and weakness I deserved it. I knew better. I wasn’t strong enough to re-state my boundaries and accepted him breaking through the walls. I automatically knew that if he cared or actually meant anything he would have protected me. However, I could have protect us too and didn’t. I failed as well. I didn’t think much of it because adult dating life is like that. It was just hard because I don’t sleep around. I don’t have an anxious attachment style but I could tell he did and had very toxic forms of building relationships. I felt it was rubbing off on me. He admitted to have had an extremely toxic past. He always had an excuse for failing me. He was divorced and had a child so I assumed this may had been a contributing factor. He was very mysterious. I started getting a feeling he had a commitment and just used me for sex and fulfilling his fantasies. I began getting rid of every illusion without further confrontation. I accepted my L and felt like I dogged a bullet. Part of me was hoping he would just block me but he didn’t. I did let him know a couple times before I left him, how he was hurting my feelings and making me feel confused. I expressed that what he was doing to me was not okay. However, he had excuses to justify it. I feel he knew what he was doing and did the typical text here and there to keep me reeled. I felt insane, insecure, not ok and prayed about it and felt it wasn’t right and he had so much going on. I had to run away because I felt I had been put through some trauma and just the things we did with each other were not ok or normal. To him it was probably another sexual encounter with a girl from a dating app but I believed everything. I needed to cut the root and deleted him. I was scared of him because I feel he just saw me as a piece of meat without clothes and I don’t feel ok spiritually or morally. Him having access to my photos made me uncomfortable. Here is the bigger red flag
The last FaceTime I had with him he had someone else on a video/voice call. It was a males voice telling him, “YOUR MIC IS OFF”. I was very confused, and did not know why he would even have another phone call going or listening to us talk
I continued about my night and tried giving him the benefit of the doubt and not accuse him of anything. I did not hear much from him after because I ghosted him due to all this weird mysterious crap. I even staged a whole fake relationship to make him think I moved on weeks later. A couple days after a black truck pulls up behind me in a hotel I was staying at. To my surprise I was going live for tik tok and the man who approached me walked away. I recorded his face on my live video. I don’t think it had a connection but the call was very sketchy. I shared this story to ask you guys what you think. Could he have had plans of hurting me more? The guy was just so weird and unavailable. I liked him so much and I still wish him the best but I am not the one haha. After this ordeal, I felt I needed to cut the tie and run away for my life. I’m grateful that my friend played my boyfriend. I was becoming more toxic than I already was haha. He suddenly became married after this. I was like
. Holy fuck. What a dude. This is the type of stuff you share anonymously. 😅
I getting help now. Has anyone else met a weirdo on there ?

2023.06.08 06:22 uhthatheartbrokenguy Stuck

It's been months already, yet I can't seem to be consistent with my healing. There are weeks when it's so hard to function, even if it's just doing the basic human needs...
I'm trying...but I'm exhausted of trying. I just want to DO and KEEP doing instead of trying everyday...
I'm stuck wondering why she just didn't let me go when I wanted to walk away 'cause all I felt was her becoming distant...I stayed because I thought that was you fighting for me and us...but I think you just used me until you were ready to leave...and now I'm left stuck between hating you, caring for you, loving you, grateful for what was, resenting you and what was, missing you, mourning you...
I don't really know what to do...It feels like a never ending roller coaster of emotions...please help me be unstuck?

2023.06.08 06:22 Afraid-Lab9338 Should I file chapter 13?

My husband and I collectively have about 50K of unsecured debt. We make about 180K gross, but the minimums are swamping us, let alone getting the cards paid in full.
Mortgage- $3700 Child care-$1500 Utilities-$300 Car 1-$400 monthly + $200 insurance Card 2-$0 paid off, +$70 interest Minimums:~$2000
The unsecured debt has been keeping me up at night and feels impossible to pay off (I don’t mean to sound dramatic, it’s just a hard situation we 100% put ourselves in). We have thrown tax returns towards our debt, but the interest and using cards for emergencies always seems to catch up. It’s been hard for us to save because we put as much as we can toward the debt. We want to be able to have emergency funds and not rely on credit cards.
I spoke with an attorney who recommended chapter 13, with approx $1200 per month payment.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? Is chapter 13 the best choice or should we try to buckle down another way?

Is this happening for anyone else on the retired fragrance website?
When I try to order something off of their retired fragrance website ( https://dev27-store-bathandbodyworks.demandware.net/s/BathAndBodyWorks/c/body-care/retired-fragrances ) and go to my cart it just stays like this loading. I’ve been trying for a couple days. Is there something wrong with the website/is this happening for anyone else? Never ordered from the retired section before

2023.06.08 06:22 Fuckoff002 Why does anyone even care anymore?

I seriously don’t get how people in the comments are either super angry or blindly supporting Cindy. Why do people care so much either way? EXCEPT for the driving and streaming that is so fucking dangerous and it makes my blood boil, she could accidentally hurt or kill someone so easily.
Cindy has admitted to lying or at the very least hiding to truth about what is actually going on. She is just trying to get people mad at Andrew to get sympathy and views which in turn make her loads of money.
No one is ever going to know the full story except for her and Andrew and the fact that people invest emotionally and financially in this sick woman is upsetting to me. Cindy can recover but she doesn’t want to, I believe she’s depressed and at rock bottom but she’s not doing herself any favors drinking and starving herself.
I just wish she would bring back her lovely sims content, she is such a talented creator when it comes to the sims and I guarantee if she went back to that she would make a solid income while not exposing her personal life to the whole world. Just some food for thought.
