Hi all, I found 2 bonded cats (Meatball and Cheese) on the street. I took them in as Meatballs eyeball was quite literally hanging out of the socket. They both had worm infestations. I got them treated for worms until it was okay to enucleate the eyeball. (Continuing the deworming process) My vet told me they have herpes. So, after extensive research, I went back for my last visit I told him that I got L-Lysine and was mixing it into the wet food (followed the instructions on the bottle). I have been doing that for about 6 months now. All was well until a month ago it seems like Cheese has grown a resistance to it? The sneezing is awful and everything is just covered in snot. Her eyes are running and her nose is bubbled with snot. Is there anything else I can try over the counter? My vet gave me the vibe of nothing really controls herpes.

F1, i've applied for some Aus jobs and it's almost as if we're on another planet? They're actively asking me what my career goals and aspirations are but actually taking it seriously and putting together a good set of rotations they think will aid me (and I actually have input).
When I meet with my Educational supervisors here they basically say 'become proficient at a neuro exam' or some bullshit which i've done 300 times.
Aus is offering me £5000 (can go towards rent) just to fucking relocate there.. I mean I earn what £28k pounds atm.
Meanwhile here I have colleagues going through massive hurdles just to get some accommodation stipend/reimbursement as they're having to rent in two locations thanks to the great rotational training.
Aus is 76 hours a fortnight with weekends paid at 1.5x and nights paid at 1.25. Any hours over the 76 are paid at 1.5x and they were literally honest about the hours stating I may be doing 85-100 per fortnight depending on what rotations I pick. I expect to take home roughly £5000/month as a goddam F2 equivalent.
I currently work something like 48 hours a week, don't get any extra pay for those dual 12 hour weekend shifts, often am forced to stay late to finish jobs and often get down to lunch after all the good options are gone as the ward round needs to take 3+ hours for some reason.
Aus has protected teaching time including procedures from consultants and regs. Theatre time rostered in. In house locums and they even stated the caveat that they don't want us to work too many hours so we don't burn out.
Here I get lectures on hyponatremia by a fellow F1 or alternative medicine, I love learning Devils claw is as effective as paracetamol at only 20x the price.
It's also amazing to have total control unlike oriel where our med school RNG landed me my 5th pick in some random place in England.
What the fuck is going on, how do we have such a disgustingly bad deal here in the UK? I didn't actually realise how bad things were until I did a few Aus interviews and they basically started showing empathy for me, it was almost embarrassing.

Here a List of Mods that are not needing the NVSE(Made for the Epic Store to mod). Some of those Mods are personally tested.
If you install Mods with Vortex Mod manager that do not require the NVSE and you do not have the Script Extender Downloaded on Vortex, than modding is possible (like 50% of Mods)

Enter Nvidia: The company, a leader in artificial intelligence hardware and software, saw its shares soar 24.6% to $380 in AH trading on Wednesday, bringing its YTD gain to over 160%. The latest movement came after the firm posted Q1 results that topped expectations and blew away forecasts for the upcoming period. "Demand [related to generative AI and large language models] has extended our data center visibility out a few quarters and we have procured substantially higher supply for the second half of the year," Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) executives said on an earnings call. "The easiest way to think about that is over the next four or five, 10 years, most of that trillion dollars, and compensating adjusting for all the growth in data center still, it will be largely generative AI."
In fact, Nvidia is indicated to open today with a market-cap gain of more than $185B, making it worth more than Meta (META) or Tesla (TSLA), and it might even turn into the biggest single-day record (Apple (AAPL) rose by $191B in November 2022). The United States is in danger of losing Fitch's top sovereign debt status due to "increased political partisanship that is hindering reaching a resolution to raise or suspend the debt limit." The "AAA" long-term foreign currency issuer default rating was placed on Rating Watch Negative, though Fitch still expects a resolution before the so-called "X-date," which can impact the U.S. Dollar Index (DXY). Hi. I'm looking to talk to new people, maybe make a friend
They are:
History, especially the 19th-20th century but with more broad and general knowedge in other time periods. I'm not an expert or anything but I am pretty passionate about it and tend to read/listen about one event or the other on a pretty regular basis.
Literature, especially old novels. I recently read Demian (my all time favourite book), Day of the Oprichnik, Heart of Darkness, the Perfume and Little Prince. Currently started reading Blood Meridian. Some of my other favourite works would include: "The Picture of Dorian Gray", "Faust part I" (need to get to part II) and "No Longer Human". I also like to write short stories and book reviews. I'd also really like to read the same book with someone and discuss it. For reference my next book will probably be Oliver Twist
Languages. I know three, with one being a bit rusty. I'm currently working to scrape off the rust and then when I'm finished with that will begin to learn a fourth language. It's fun to go through different works in multiple languages. For example, I read the aforementioned Faust part I in all three.
Games. I recently played Cyberpunk 2077. Now that the dust has settled and the bugs mostly removed...It's not that bad! The main questline at least, Fallout 76 (Very average, I'm dissapointed with what they made the "RPG" system) and will try out Deus Ex Manking Divided again ( Got inspired since it's somewhat similar to Cyberpunk). I was waiting to play Elden Ring but it ended being too stressful for me. Go here and get beaten up go there and get beaten up, repeat...Besides that I'm a big fan of Paradox strategy games...like EU IV and HoI IV (also thinking of making my own project for HoI IV). I am definitely looking forward to try out Victoria III, after they add more content to it. I also got Modern Warfare 2, since the first MW had great multiplayer gameplay.
Anime and Manga. In recent times my interest has waned but I still watch the occasional series here and there. Like Cyberpunk Edgerunners (Which I found to be rather mediocre) and the very good new season of Bleach. Some other favourites include: Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Death Note, Fate;Zero, Psycho Pass , Higurashi (season 2 is a bit weak but the first one is a masterpiece of horror), Code Geass, Attack on Titan and others. My favourite Manga is Berserk...I hope it gets a good ending..the first couple of new chapters were...a bit rough but the new author seems to have got his footing.
Anyway, that should be enough information to give you a good picture... Before I go, I would like to ask for you to include the title of the last book you read in your reply. A small request, I feel. I'll be ignoring those that don't.
